(sorry for the late reply) if you need a high core cpu then the 3900x will serve you well. if you can't wait for a 30 series gpu i would recommend the 2080/ti/super as your gpu.
dual channel means that you're occupying 2 channels of memory, which boosts the speed of your pc. 32gb is plenty of memory

I have 12GB in my computer, wouldn't recommend doing it yourself, it's a prebuilt and prebuilts are wack, 1x8 1x4, it's almost plenty for me but I discovered the Firefox plugin after I lost access to my computer so once I install that plugin I should be good
