new build boots perfectly fine outside of case, put it in the case and it doesn't post, fans spin continuously but no picture, cannot be turned off using power sw jumper

@viral ore the case fans are deepcool MF 120s on the front and sides, there are 10 of them in taking. The top radiator fans are exhausting. I'm gonna add another 140mm exhaust on the back once my 3080 comes in

They aren't the best fans, but they def work. They are currently the best looking fans from the rear right now IMHO.

Hey I have a question... I currently have a I5-7600 build with a gigabyte motherboard,. a seasonic focus psu. The motherboard has (1) 8 pin cpu power plug which is using the seasonic 8/4 power adapter from the cpu,. I just ordered a ryzen 3900x with a new motherboard, the combo deal one on newegg,. and that board the strix has an 8 pin with a 4 pin cpu power. Is there an adapter available to run off the current 8/4 cpu power coming from the psu and change it over to the 8 + 4 pin that the board has. And if there is, is it safe to run the 3900x using that adapter until I buy a new psu with the 8+4 included stock?

I think I found one adapter that could work,. but it was really far out since it was shipping from china.

i managed to over clock the gpu and get the sim to use more gpu but the other way around the i5 was tanked 100% and the video card just sat there,. total bottleneck so I over clocked the gpu and then set the sim to be more gpu bound and get around 30 fps in open area but sluggish in chicago and big towns,. and its all cpu issues causing that. for fs2020

let me explain again in settings I made the game use the gpu more than the cpu,. so the cpu would be able to keep up,. right now the gpu is a gtx 1060 6gb but soon in another couple weeks its going to be maybe a lower end 3000 series when they hit

I have always used hyper 212 its cheap and decent,. currently have a push pull design i think mine is evo currently? but like others have said there is a lot better options finally out that really compete with the 212 design better heat pipes etc, but for the price the 212 is rock solid. but if your going to really push something on air, its probably best to get something more robust.

only bad thing with that new build Bansys is your going to be os limited soon when the new mac's start using their own cpu instead of intel based designs,. the hackintosh might be harder to accomplish going forward because of that change in manufacturing at Apple.

Generally with Apple their support department says buy new,. but os support might end on intel based, and only new os will work with arm based etc. not 100% sure. maybe they are doing this because buying an intel based cpu allows you to basically create a hackintosh, and thus not buy their hardware.

so I'm wondering if you built a hackintosh now, if when the current os becomes out of date, will they still make 2 os versions one for intel based cpu's and one for the new arm based cpu.

or will they provide support for both arm and intel,. which arm is totally a different platform,. like windows tablets with arm based cpu's only did store only app's. But windows tablets with actual cpu's did full windows experience? it could be that they might just make a os that supports intel and arm, but not 100% sure.

I think the only way to do a hackintosh is intel based right now, don't think they ever used amd but i could be wrong. I think there is a lot of guides on the internet. I never built one but have ran osx in virtual box a bit

A bad thing with this new arm based cpu's is that it is probably going to nix mac's being able to run windows via bootcamp as well.

if I was going to do one, based on what I googled and read a bit on, I would look at 9900k intel based cpu,. not sure if 10 series would work because the guides i have found generally only show 9 series,. but a 9900k would be a decent gaming cpu as well,. but i would rather if it worked go with a 10 series just to future proof it more, but can't seem to see any guides online where someone has used like a 10700 intel

So I've tried using pcpartpicker to help me build a pc, and the tower I've picked (Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Case) is unable to verify if it works with Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. I'm also unsure if my motherboard I'm choosing (Asus PRIME Z390-A ATX LGA1151) will work with this tower too, cause newegg's site doesn't show any motherboards if I was to pick the tower first. The priority in budget allocation when making a list for your needs would be GPU first (Gaming and Rendering perf depend mainly on GPU), then the CPU, then ram (AMD chips like faster ram for better performance), and motherboard/storage/case are pretty low on the priorities.

ye try turning on xmp/docp if you haven't already. or you can manually select speed, timings, voltage if the mobo allows and set to what is written on the ram. could also try reseating ram. and try those dism and sfc scans like mr1 said

im not sure about that but you really want to unplug the computer and turn it off, and if youre in a static environment keep a hand on a metal surface or use one of those anti static straps so that you dont damage your pc when handling it
