Okay so we ended up stripping the entire PC double checked all the pins and motherboard sockets and nothing is wrong with any of it. We plugged everything back in and it's having the same issue so it's probably due to a user error. Gonna take it to a place where they have more experience with this stuff.

@hearty fern it's not the OEM that matters, it's the specific model and components inside it. Seasonic is an OEM for most of their PSUs. Focus Plus Gold/Play being one of them iirc. That specific model also has super high overload voltage ripple. Thus not that good despite most OEM Seasonic PSUs being decent

also i have a concern with installing new hardware under current operating system. in the past with win7,8 i'd normally just reformat the drives, and reinstall windows with the corect key. but with windows 10, i don't know what i need to do, to install new hardware. more specifically new mobo,cpu, and ram.

@lofty swan let me just answer the SSD question: Yes. there is NO doubt at all, that you actually NEED the ssd. IF you have to sacrifice something else? you do it.

Not that good afaik. No real testing done, but it does miss UVP I think it is. Which from my understanding is a bit more important then say missing OTP and actually is truly useful
