That's quite a margin of a drop
Yep
If you can wait a bit, prices are inflated a tad right now due to tax season
Ok thanks
It's the same with cars, there's no right time to buy but there's a wrong time and that is when everyone has a little extra from taxes
or, live near a microcenter
It's almost worth the 9 hour drive there lol
cuz those bundles be beautiful
Free memory with AMD CPU
and a 240gb ssd just for crossing the threshold
Yup
For me it’s 30 min and the tax is so low
so 12900k is only slightly more multicore and slightly less single core performance compared to 13600K. But 13600K is easier to cool. imo the 13600K is better. 13th gen is also more stable in my experience than 12th gen (I've owned both)
Say guys, how do dual GPU Builds work? Is it as simple as plugging in two 3070’s and getting a little over the performance of a 3090? What benefits do we get from Multiple GPU builds?
If you're that close definitely keep an eye on their site for prices, you can get a GPU super cheap compared to online too
plus, open box
the time I'd say 12900K would be worth over 13600K is if you could get a used 12900K that is a very early sample with AVX-512
Dual GPU is dead, it only works in workstation tasks now
I wish I was that close to micro center
and you have a valid use for avx-512
The last GPU to support SLI was the 3090
When was it ever viable? I’m having trouble finding research on it
pizza still works in sli mode
in games it's just not supported much anymore
It's been years since it was worth it, and most games don't know what to do with it these days anyway
for workstation dual gpu is stonk af
So, with lack of support, the true best performance a buyer can get right now is a 4090? —Going off of that, even if someone had a x3 4090 build, they wouldn’t get much more fps in games than a x1 4090 build? (or, those games wouldn’t even support it anyways because of lack of SLI support?)
You would get exactly 0 extra frames with a triple 4090
Probably negative frames at that
for games, 4090 is peak
if not the new ADA card that's basically a 4090 Ti for like 8K
for workstation dual 3090ti I think is still better
but it's dependent on what you're doing
Moar memory
Sheesh
the RTX 6000 Ada is the one I'm thinking of
you could run one of those or two 3090 Ti's
I have one 11400F + 3070 FTW build. Would I be better off buying a 50 / 60 series card, or would I be better off getting a second 3070 for SLI?
Unless you're doing 4k 120hz there's no point upgrading until next gen for you
SLI is just in general not really worth doing
4K 120hz is precisely what I am doing
for gaming you won't scale at all with SLI
3070 doesn't even support SLI, the connector does not physically exist
No, seriously 🤣
Then you want a 4090 for the best of the best, a 4080 or 7900 XTX would also do really well
I’m running cyberpunk on max everything at 4K and am getting steady 80 FPS with DLSS ultra performance
4090 could do cp at 4k 120 ultra rt dlss quality
imo of all 3 top skus, 7900 XTX is the best
you get the best value for money out of raw performance
STOP WITH ABREVIATING
PLEASE
YOOOOOO

How much would a 4070 be?
NO THAS JUST WEIRD
Ironic how Harry is a child in this one too
😭
🥶🥶😈
STOP
😬😬😬
Lmfaoo
Is there anything that can do Cyberpunk 4K 120hz at max EVERYTHING (RTX Included) without dlss?
nope
As a matter of fact, can anyone explain dlss for dummies? I’m getting a general* sense of “it makes pictures at 720p and upscales them” but don’t really know what that actually means
8800gt
What in tarnation is that
2007 gpu
The upscaling works by expanding the image to fill the screen and using AI pre-processed images to fill in the missing pixels
🤣
probably something with a disgusting overclock
Liquid nitro here I come
Would you say it’s the same image quality as true 4K 120hz?
It's quite close, you won't notice a difference unless you get really close and have a reference pic side by side
(in quality or balanced mode at least)
Sweet; I’m always a good couple feet from my Tv anyways
It's not, but not significant enough to notice unless it's frame gen or bad implementation
Could you tell me more about the differences between a mid range card and the flagships? I know they offer “50% more performance” or something along those lines, but never knew to what extent that truly meant
It just never made sense to me to spend 3-4x the money for only 2x the performance
That’s why I’ve always stuck to buying the mid range every couple gens
I think something about the about of vram inside of it matters
But I’ve never knew what it does
In a basic matter of speaking, is a 3090 simply a 3070 with more vram and other GPU stats, or is a 3090 more of an exponential upgrade, along the lines of “more stats, AND of those stats, each individual “core” is worlds better than an individual 3070 core?
If I can comfortably run 4K 120hz (dlss) with a 3070, what would ever be the point of buying a flagship? What are the true performance benefits that I’m not able to understand because of a lack of knowledge in the field?
I go by SM or SP counts
but also reviews are very much just a full capture of performance
you have variations in memory, core counts, memory, clock speeds, cache sizes
etc etc etc
lots of factors that play a role in what makes a gpu go as fast as it does
Reviews make it easy because it's a snapshot of real world performance
also plenty of old GPU's can run 4K120, it just depends on what the program is
to me the 4090 would be classed as a current day 4K120 gpu, maybe 4K144
4080 and XTX just below that, 4K100-120
then you got XT, 4070TI, 3090TI, 3090, 6950XT, 6900XT at 4K60
3080 TI
below that it sorta starts looking like it could do 4k60
3070 to me would be more like, 4K30-50 imo
or a comfortable 1440p
a lot of 4K60 cards make great choices for high refresh 1440p
What is the difference between pressure and flow fans
Pressure focused fans are better optimized for being mounted on a radiator, where there's additional blockage to air pressure
Stop
Flow focused are well, as the name suggests. Puts out the most amount of air but not with as much pressure
I wouldn't swear by it tho
So can pressure fans be used for the case
HMMM
As a fan can be good in both ways
I say the 6950xt can go in that 4k range
obviously a 4080 does run it a lot better though
Or keep your expectations reasonable
Yeah
2023 games are unoptimized af
Thanks DLSS for making it worse
Kinda have to dial down settings destroying the point of 4k but yes
unless I am on a 4090
Lian li st120 or p12 argb
We are accepting crap, unoptimized games
P12
p12
Lol
AL120 V2 is great tho
let's make the decision easier
meh imma just go and put more rgb in my case so I get more fps
Saw hardware canucks review last night
#democracy
But p12 argb has daisy chain and all
Lolol
So it's gud
Anyway
It's general knowledge
I hate how having upscaling tech is making devs lazier to optimize their goddamn games
I mean devs have alwasy been lazy
It's forcing people to buy new gpu lol
I’m to broke for those
Since people go and buy stuff anyway
When said current gpu is still sufficient
The market only goes and cry if the things are outrageous
But the games aren't optimized
Fair enough
As long as the cash isn't affected
It'll only get worse
Or you can just have a Ubisoft dev crying out loud against a FromSoftware dev because the game mechanics are muah
player unfriendly.
Since everything is now grab a spoon and feed it up to the masses.
Lol people turn on dlss even when they are getting good fps
It is not harming anything
Makes sense if you are trying to squish money out of it just don't complaint if majority of consumers ask for a refund or end up ostracizing you online for obvious issues
I don't hate dlss, but it makes games more unoptimized due to it
You are only seeing the tech at face value, not the consequences that comes with it
Just watch dlss 4 come out and devs go "your 4090 can't do 4k 60 fps? go buy 5090 and use the newest dlss!"
Game devs are like: if you spent 1.6k for your graphics card then you just eat whatever garbage i throw at you for 60$
I think AI upscaling is going to both make it worse and reveal some ugly sides to game development in the near future
give us more vulkan games ffs game devs
Get a 2060 and see for yourself how sweet it sometimes is
Geuss I gotta go buy a 4090
Mom's credit card
I have a 6600 I don't need to replicate this
i have a 1660s lol
Smart
Gaming in this years have diluted into this: Oh money big money, shareholders of any big gaming corp are like, rush whatever is that your producing and milk it until there's no more value and just produce what's next. Gaming as a thing is not a thing of the passionate, is all about money and that's every business tbh but tell me, doesn't a game sell more when it feels there has been actual time behind it and things are nice, but noooooooooooooo more money the merrier and the more we sell the better even if that means creating cheap copies or bs games that will just be unplayable 2 months down the line.
What's wrong with that?
that's my only gripe
1660S > 2060 is a complete sidegrade
nothing wrong of course
i never get to use it anyway, it's uh for mining and salad
Mmm yes
Got it back in 2021
Salad
💀
;V
Show dad new video of DLSS IN CYBERPUNK
He'll give you a loan to get the lates 4090

My laptop has a 745m
Y’all know any fans hubs I can buy
for lian li fans?
With a Nzxt radiator with probably 6 fans cuzz the case comes with 3 includes so I can add those
i've never ordered arctic rgb fans, but don't they come w/ splitters for the pwm and the rgb?
if that's the case, it depends on the mobo, and how many headers there are
They don’t come with fan hubs
Just know why that can support a lot of fans that is easy to use
not a hub, but a splitter cable...it allows the rgb to be daisychained
ST120 comes with a hub tho
https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-ファン増設用ハブ-MFX-ZHHN-1NNN6-R1-FN1389/dp/B0892FLXDX/ref=asc_df_B0892FLXDX/?
cooler master has a basic pwm/rgb hub...there are others...u don't need a giant hub...frankly, using splitter cables into a smaller hub, or into ports on mobo allow for grouping of fans...and, it makes it easier to cable manage...but, teamforce has a hub, phanteks has a hub...shoot, they all have hubs...
The new MasterFan ARGB and PWM HUB is capable of connecting up to 6 sets of Addressable RGB (3-pin) headers and PWM headers simultaneously. It enables users to expand cooling capability and enjoy greater system performance. Its small and compact design allows you to control your PWM ARGB fans in ...
Y’all know some lcd aio liquid coolers
Not any good ones
There's better ways to add a LCD, cheaper too with a bigger screen
I like it on the pump block
kuman 5" w/ bracket...
um, evga, pirate ship, and msi
or, air cooler and kuman 5" + bracket + flat hdmi cable...and, maybe a usb hub
pretty sure the second option is way cheaper, and much cooler
Pirate ship as in Corsair I assume
yup
https://www.amazon.com/kuman-inch-Resistive-Touch-Screen/dp/B07L9XM11M/ref=sr_1_2?
how is it cheaper than when i bought it?????
Kuman 5 Inch Touch Screen 800x480 TFT LCD Display for Raspberry Pi 3 2 Model B RPi 1 B B+ A A+ Features: A good solution for those seeking for a bigger resolution display Designed for Raspberry Pi, an ideal alternative solution for monitor 800×480 resolution, better display Good touch response La...
A few degrees worse for way more money
That's not a good tradeoff in my opinion just to have lcd aio
u can output whatever u want on that 5" screen...also, they have a 7" screen w/ bracket...and, the diy factor is tru da roof
or, get that evga aio...and, spray paint it gold...
The keyboard you have here is for mac lol
I mean
wired mechanical keyboard for mac
Dude, it's for both
You're good, man
I'm using it right now on my windows laptop
There's a switch to swap between Mac and windows
They give you the keycaps to make it windows
Oh alr

You
Is that actually a card?!
Ye, quite old
Nah
Gigglebit GTX680 Super Overclock
Ooof okay lmao.
almost no one is gonna buy such a thing anyway, they get LOUD
Guys it’s taken me 4 days to install everything in
Now I have to plug all the cables
I’m scared
And I made a mess with the thermal paste and had to wipe it all off
Paste is fine to get messy with
still not tuesday

@humble fossil no
sorry
What does it mean if my motherboard has a white light.
Likely gpu error
What should I do unplug it and plug it back?
Is your pc working? Any errors with it displaying and such?
Yeah, I’d def get aio working, don’t wanna have pc running and cpu overheat
could try another spot (dp/hdmi) on the gpu if possible
eh nah not rly
Should aio light be on when I turn on my pc?
Guys I need help
Do the fans spin
You could just have rgb in wrong spot
(if it has rgb lol)
Yeah they spin
I have the msi z790 and I need to know how many usb headers there are
few different kinds of z790… tomahawk, godlike, etc
the white gaming x trio from msi is finally on newegg
My aio has 2 cables one is a 3 pin the other one is 4 pin. What cables would be for rgb
Also right next to the white light of my motherboard there is 800t next to it does that mean a specific type of problem.
Edge
It only has two usb headers and I need to split it would it let me?
Can someone help me
I plugged everything in but the aio is not being powered help me
It’s the kraken z73
Help me
Did you plug the pump into SATA power
Yea
The fan work, but the pump does not and on the monitor in the boot screen it says my pc is over heating
What's a manual?
wdym
I plugged it is like it said … the fans works but the pump will not cool and the lcd screen won’t turn on
I thought I was working for a second cause I got to install windows then it overheated and turned off
What do I do?
Call Newegg support?
Can they even help me?
If I buy like the 4070 ti that comes with 16 to two 8 pin connectors and if I buy a cable extension that uses like three 8 pin connectors do I plug all three cables in or plug only 2 in the extension to the gpu?
I saw a person say the z series mother boards have faulty usb header, I am going to try a regular micro ubs see if it works if not I got to return it
Can someone add me, I can show you guys on cam
Maybe you can help me
lol what
this is news to me
never had usb header issues on z87, z97, z170, z370, z490, z590, or z690
I don’t know all I know is he used a regular micro usb and plugged it to the back of the mb instead of the header
At a least it turned on and didn’t catch in fire
And windows installed
Newegg says I can return it but not exchange
That's the mobo's built in i/o
You can use that but honestly it's more convenient to be able to use the case connectors
Looks nicer too
Much cleaner
does a 3060 give more fps than a 6700xt
no it doesnt
The RTX 3060 Ti is one of the most competitively priced GPUs from Nvidia, but in the current market, the RX 6700 XT from AMD still undercuts it in pricing. But how do they stack up in the newest games, on the latest drivers, ray tracing on and off, FSR and DLSS on and off, 1080p, and 1440p, and even in Unreal Engine 5.1 using Lumen, Nanite, and ...
ok
It can give more fps then 3060ti a lot of the times let alone a 3060
No, not in most scenarios
Will a 650W power supply be powerful enough for a 3060ti or 6700xt?
Yeah I have a 650 W PSU with a 6950 xt
Alright ty
Depends on model
As long as it's C tier or higher on the list pinned in #cases-psu-and-cooling you'll be fine
Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 650W 80+ Gold SLI/ CrossFire Ready Ultra Quiet 140mm Hydraulic Bearing Smart Zero Fan Full Modular Power Supply 10 Year Warranty PS-TPD-0650FNFAGU-1 https://a.co/d/fyrrelP
This was the 1 I was planing on getting
Im having a hard time reading the list but I don’t think it’s in D or lower just from looking at those
Oh it isn't A tier anymore?
6700xt out preforms the 3060ti?
I mainly play games that would benefit from nvidia cards but don’t really know how much of a difference it makes
But you can also score 3070 for that price
Alright I’ll keep looking
Like this one on ebay
It's zotac but it being 3 fans more than makes up for it
In non rt it absolutely outperforms it lol
I’m tryna get everything local but may have to settle on something on eBay if I can’t find a decent one here
Barely iirc compooper beat it in 3d mark lol on his asrock card
But that's 3d mark
Can’t I get like a 6750xt for like 370-380
Wouldn’t that be the best deal?
I think my 6700xt performs like a 6750 at 2.8ghz
That wouldn't surprise me
349 bucks is for cheapest 6750xt
i have nvidia bias myself so i like the idea of getting used 3070
I don't let my own opinion influence recommendations at least
I prefer nvidia but if they preform the same/similar I’ll get the 6750xt
3750xt is dab smack at 3070
but the plus is you get new with warranty
hmm, looks like cheapest 6750xt is 379 rn
kinda sadge
I’ll probably settle for the used 3070 tbh
(I didn't fact check this)
Next gen verto is nice
I like the looks of that
Good design, good thermals, nothing to complain about
But for me I'm not picky with any 40 series gpus
They're all overbuilt anyway
Thanks high standards
Well I just secured a deal for a 3070 for 350
Nice
4070 Ti gonna be nice for ai learning
not with that 12GB it won’t
yeah it will
🤨
can i use cpu and ram too?
what
not really
12gb is plenty
Sure more is better but 12gb will do just fine
😬
8gb of vram is so bad
🚮
gtx 1070 gang
i just bought a 6gb card 😦
De-modded
sorry me poor
Guys
It’s not working
The aio is not turning on
I went into bios and changed it to dc
I checked the mb by plugging a fan into the cpu fan and cpu pump and they worked but the kraken z73 is not working
I really need help
is it new?
probably just a defective unit or a bad mount
is there an rpm reading?
what's the temps in bios?
Brand new
For the fans
34c
that sounds normal
If I buy like the 4070 ti that comes with 16 to two 8 pin connectors and if I buy a cable extension that uses like three 8 pin connectors do I plug all three cables in or plug only 2 in the extension to the gpu?
Like from the psu to the extensions then into the connector?
Or like a new 16 pin with 3 connectors
So like the gpu comes with a 16 with 2 connectors
And I want to buy an extension
But it’s
16 to threee 8 pin
U can plug all 3 in, gpu will only pull as much power as it needs. It has a tdp limit
If I just plug 2
It should be fine
Will it work
Tbh I don’t know so I’d just plug all 3 In
Gpu will only draw the power it needs
And it should work with just 2 I think but I might be wrong
I’d just get a 16 extension with 2 connectors if u don’t have enough from your psu for 3
The one I was thinking about only had 4 connectors for 8 pin
I’m using 2 already for cpu
And that leaves 2 out
What cpu are u using?
2 connectors to the cpu is usally overkill most of the time
But the gpu connectors should have like an extra connector to them
I’ll get a picture
Either i5 13600k or i9 12800k
They look bad
Something like this
I’d just get a 16 pci cable with 2 connectors
They do sell them
Oh wait I just realized it was 3
I’d check the reviews to see if it works with just 2, tho i think it would work
Oh wait nvm they do sell them braided with just 2 I’m dumb
Wha
I’m trying to find one at cable mod for 20
But only sell 16 to three 8 pin
Unless I buy a different psu
Any recommendations for 850 watt psu
Only got 4 8 pin

Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 PE 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (PS-TPD-0850FNFAGU-1)
pretty sure that last one is atx 3.0
i have this and it only comes with 3 pcie power cables and 1 that splits into 2 for the cpu power
2 sata power and 1 molex power
i dont think it has support for 4 pci
I’d just use the stock cable
Or check Amazon for a extension
guys
I think this really nice z73 kraken is a joke
the lcd screen will not work
a friend says I should update the bios but I dont know if that will help
what do you guys thing?
I am not a pro at this but it's always good to update your bios so I recommend trying that first.
yall know if this website is good? ive had it recommended by a friend to use when looking for monitors and mice but i thought i should ask you guys for an opinion
The Razer Viper V2 Pro and the Razer Viper Ultimate are very similar mice part of the same lineup. The two mice share the same shape, but the V2 Pro is significantly lighter and has an improved sensor with a wider CPI range. That said, the Ultimate has several features the V2 Pro lacks, including RGB lighting, rubber side grips, and an additiona...
rtings
Rtings is a very good website
Also I would def recommend the pro over the ultimate if you're considering
But only if the price difference is marginal
And you're not really someone who likes heft to a mouse
yup i already got the pro i was looking at that because i wanted to see what they rate the mouse on
ah you also got it nice
yea first i got the viper mini but i needed to upgrade bc now my hands are much bigger
so i did
Ye I have that and the DA V3
ah nice!
da as in deathradder?
Ye
ah kk
woah you got an enitre collection
Ye
one mouse is enough for me
Well I like wireless so I alternate mice
Ye
a
I use a naga for cad work
Having 21 buttons is helpful lol
And my old DA V2 I just keep around if I need another mouse for a bit
Don't get me wrong I'm only like this with their mice lmao
My favourite is def the DA V3 tho
why!?
It feels the most natural to me
ah thats just personal preferance
Ye
but i see what you mean
im biast to the viper mini and the ultimate ive had them for so long
most left handed people just learn how to use a keyboard and mouse like right handed people
Lol
its just cus of some mice not having left side buttons
Ya
at least that why i learnt
Ultimate does
mhm!
Ultimate is totally ambidextrous
Lol
symmetrical
Ask in #peripherals-and-displays
Y’all know any vertical mounts that perform well for brokies
It’s soo horrible you buy a really nice part then it just doesn’t work right
It’s just crazy
I wonder if they will charge for the return package
hey could someone please help me out with a build around 650? im not sure where to start
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6600, Cougar MX330-G Air ATX Mid Tower
thank you very much sorry i forgot about the monitor do you think you’d be able to add in a monitor thatd fit the budget as well?
If you need a monitor as well I would consider saving another 150$
For this one
Reason I say this is below about 600-ish is you take some severe performance penalties
damn okay would it be possible to have the pc around 600 then and i can save some more money for the monitor
Sure
i really appreciate the help
RVU is much lighter than my DA essential, it's so obvious, especially w/o cable drag.
Ya but DA V3 pro is lighter than RVU
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6600, Cougar MX330-G Air ATX Mid Tower
Find the gpu second hand for that price ±$10
I wouldn't go any lower at all, the $75 is worth every cent extra imo
okay thanks again
If you're looking at months and months away of saving there are lower options but the performance hit is quite big is all
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5500, Radeon RX 6600, DIYPC ARGB-Q8-W MicroATX Mid Tower
Like you could do this but the cpu hit is quite big
And the case sucks but it's functional
Or better yet this
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZBBG9r
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6600
And just forsake the case altogether until you have enough money to get a decent one
Which is what I'd do in a pinch tbh
Pc on motherboard box is a totally fine way to use it
Then stick it in the case when you've got one later
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 4600G, Arc A750, DIYPC MA08 MicroATX Mini Tower
My good try at trying to join the club of making super cheap builds
ram is same price as the kit felix looked at
It's just me trying
but with much better latency
yeah we're just saying it for face value
but to be honest
no that we're not appreciating the effort
for the graphics card price in here
you can go buy an used 6700
which is far better price wise
I think 180$ some I have seem in pc builds online.
180 is difficult for a 6700
it is
but!!!
If you catch it
Take it in a minute
In a not so much of a ultra saving build, how about this one?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, GeForce RTX 3070, Thermaltake V200 RGB ATX Mid Tower
actually manage to find for 3 bucks more a 6800xt
:VVV
i don't see any issues other than case choice
there's focus 2 for cheaper
but other than that it's a decent build
I mean for 9 bucks more than this I got my Liam li 215 in a deal with the 2 280 argb fans and the one in the back.
eh
focus 2 has two rgb fans on front already for the price of less than 70 bucks tbh
and it has mesh front, so airflow ain't gonna be blocked
Nice, I guess case goes more on looks part at this point for many due to the airflow ability of many good cases out there
but that's just me though
Honestly I was looking to spent 140$ + on the Fractal North Design
(Still is out of stock everywhere I search)

One week before doing my build
2 or 3 in stock
1 close to a walmart by my house
1 in best buy
and 1 at micro
I like deepcool ch370 even though it doesn't come with any fans preinstalled
It's a nice matx case for only 60 bucks
only option right now is in some weird website for a warehouse 50$ delivery by may 8 :VVV
Don't worry man, you should've seen the builds I was doing at the start too

We all start somewhere, like riding a bike
Thx
I am trying to squished builds right now, this cheap used GPU are making it a bit easier ngl
Oh yeah, used as much as possible is how you make the margins for flipping
But sadly I can not do the same for my Latin American friends looking to upgrade their rig in Colombia or Argentina
My Colombia friend can not find the prices i have for his build that I share here like 2 months ago and is the one he’s doing
What would cost for me 700$
Is gonna end up costing him around 1300$
And my Argentinian friends just cry every time the 3060 just goes up in price every day due to inflation rising on a daily basis
Meh the taxation on imports in Brazil is absolutely/astronomically f up
A PS5 going for almost 2000$
:/
Ya
What’s funny Colombia has the same
I feel them man, it's probably cheaper to fly to another country and grab a laptop
I was thinking of just bringing the pieces for him at some point if he gave me the money
But then I saw the tax on the 500$ then it would end up costing the same it would cost for him to build it down there
But the thing that makes it the most ludicrous for me is that he’s from the coast area of Colombia, but to get the pieces he wants he’s gonna have to travel to Bogota which is like a 6-8 bus drive from where he lives
I complaint about the Dominican Republic but men I love the fact that in DR you can find computer component prices at a similar price that you find them here in the US
Saw a 3070 going in a market in DR for like 18900$ pesos which is like 370 or 80
That's dope actually
Here I get like a 10-30% markup
Better than some you are finding here
Phillipines is where it's the worst for a lot of friends
50% markup and the prices never go down
They still live in a gpu apocalypse

The same build 2 years ago still costs the same today
valve corporal gaining on each game translating to prices every where
Men that sucks
I don’t know a lot about the south East Asian markets and how the tax works down there but seems Philippines is like the long far away forgotten Latino brother I guess they have the same Latin American tendency of only having cheap food but electronically wise setting the general population back to 2010
Men
500$ for a 3060 seems like the COVID shortages
And not even
Well similar I would say and even less
Some 3060 where really expensive back them
I wonder what are the people that bough 3090’s for 3000$ doing right now
Do they regret the investment
Or they are so out of touch with actual computer prices that they just said I want the best and I just make bank from walking into my job for a minute
They should follow that 3090 to the grave
People may complaint about AMD (I kinda doo too) but that injection of AMD cards into the market did save a lot of people from buying over price cards
So sad that they where soon to follow the trend of super expensive stuff with the XTX
(The card is good, but common be the reality that you are and the reality why customers appreciate your work)
Your prices!!!!!
Ya
I think AMD has been quite good lately
Still a ways to go but definitely an all amd pc is totally usable these days
I am looking for motherboards for the R7 5700g cpu I got and I was wondering if I'd need Bios flashback if I went with a B450M board? Preferably I'd like to stay sub-100$ for this upgrade. I'm in Mexico, also the board needs to have at least 2 M.2 slots for my storage drives. Thanks in advance!
ye you will need flashback
is 550 W is enough for Ryzen 5600g + RX 6650xt
yeah as long as it's a decent unit
but i wouldn't do 5600g
that cpu performs like 3600
go for 5600 instead
ok Thanks
what’s a nice 800$ pc build no case or psu
US?
do you need a monitor?
and what case/psu do you have
Think they're qatar or something iirc which means a us build won't be relevent
Qatar
Evga 650w
Montech air 100 lite
Could change if necessary
Do you need wifi btw?
If you don't I'd do this

Is Q-Flash the same as Bios Flash?
it is
Probably a dumb question but is there a difference between Q-Flash and Q-Flash Plus?
Or are they two names for the same thing?
they're just same thing but different name
do check for a button on the back of the mobo tho
the i/o
gigabyte doesnt do that usually its on the bottom
only gigabyte call it q flash too so
I saw a couple boards with Q-Flash just found out that they'd put it on the bottom from the one I looked at.
Would this motherboard work with my R7-5700g?

Most of them are x1
Mining
Oh?
mhm
not like youll be able to use any pcie 4 slots as more than pcie 3 slots with a 5700g anyway
and add in cards lol
ik
I don’t see why you’d have a bunch of x16 slots for that
no the 1x
pretty sure it’s just a meme tier mining build, A4000s were extremely popular when this came out
@austere condor sick build. I feel like a tinge yellow liquid could really go well with it.
I'll uh, be the provider of said product
A 3050 for 180 a good deal or nah?
There must be used options out there far better than that
Or
Wait for those deals
Coming from someone that did his whole build with deals
I’m about to buy a 3070 for 300 on eBay
Damn really nice!
What’s your planned build?
So an i5-12600k with a z690 Aorus, originally was gonna get a 6600 for 230, 1tb ssd, 32gb ram, and 650W GF1 psu
Only thing I’m really changing around is the gpu rn
Mmmm you are going with a good cpu have you check into deals
?
To probably get the ram, mobo and cpu in one set
Aight bet
I’ll try this for the first time, I do it with others like my friends but I am trying to give a fair suggestion for you
I have some parts already picked out just planing on buying everything tmr night-Saturday
Only thing I’m really juggling around is the gpu
Got you
You know that if you go with a ryzen procesor in micro you get a deal on a 6950
?
I’m going in on Friday I’ll ask about it
I get it those days before doing the build is when you start thinking about all the prices

Ik it’s not gonna be with the processor but I’m just making sure
Cuz that would actually be insane for them to do that
But pretty sure it’s going to be over my budget if I pick this deal
No only ryzen cpu
Aimfully what's your budget total for the pc
1k
Alr
No case included felix
Alr
@elder river wifi or nah
Ideally yes
Save a good few bucks if you don't need it
But I have ethernet
Alr it's good savings without
I may need it when I go back to my moms house
Wifi included mb in micro let me see
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dksjd9 @elder river
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6800 XT
Oh microcenter? Ah wasn't looking
Because I was ideally looking at their 192$ deal with the 5600x and Asus Prime B450M-A II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Asus Prime B450M-A II
That's a decent price if he didn't need wifi
Yep
Would it be ok to run 1 stick of ram 16gb ddr5 5200 cl 36?
Because we can look at the other deal that does come with a wifi mobo
Alright
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6800 XT
Mmm go t you
Good for 1440p gaming
You could sorta toss on a better cpu? But you won't really gain much
Unless you're playing like star citizen 24/7
Or something else terribly cpu intensive like an RTS
Mmm he could still manage to get something better within the 1000 margin if he does the deal from micro but buys the ram somewhere else
let me see
You might stretch a little better maybe
Next gpu step up is a good $100 or so
If you can find cpu+mobo for 240 or less tho it could be worth doing
@elder river https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KMxWFg got it down to $1010
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6800 XT
That said the other list has a far better motherboard for that extra 10
I can probably do this also can look around locally for some parts aswell
Kinda worth if you want a 5800x3d later
Used 3080 12gb maybe, but 6800xt is about equally as fast and new
Crazy how capable a 1000dollar rig is now
Maybe a used 6900 xt
Could do a decent amount of 4k too (not 120fps lol)
Cuz I see a 3070 for 300 which may be worth since I’ll have spare money to get other better parts
This is just for games ye?
Yeah
Then 3070 is worse
And a better cpu won't really scale to make up for that loss
Alot worse lmfao
He could get used gpu and make those 380 into something a lot bigger if he wishes to get a used 6800xt from ebay
for 3$ more
Nah that deal isn't really worth it
really
Yeah x570s is a waste for that combo
On wifi mobo combos apparently that's their best unless let me see
X570s is good don't get me wrong, but don't need anything like that for a 5600 lol
Even the 5800x3d will be fine on b550 lol
Try looking on the intel side. Micro center has good intel combos
Yeah let me see
I'm using a 5900x on one
That's excellent if you can guarantee they work together out of the box
Lemme chuck that in rq
Ye but if they guarantee that it'll work out of the box when you get it then no need for it
Worth a shot at least
He can ask in microcenter
Ye
If it doesn't right now the build is like 850 with taxes included
This build instead of the one in reply if the micro center deal works out:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XkKkpH
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Radeon RX 6800 XT
You get 2TB SSD instead of 1TB
Pretty stacked this build now
Good for extreme 1440p or 4k60
Idek if imma need 2tb of storage tbh
Hm alr
I have like 4 games imma keep installed everything else imma delete after I complete
@obsidian wolf can you see if there's a 5700x combo there for sub 260
yeah let me see
8 cores too
enough for the next 10 years
lmao
but he wants wifi though
that's the thing
Ah true
I understand because I also didn't go for cheaper deal
Keep looking
because of wifi

I don’t need Wi-Fi now
wifi optios are above 300$
LOL
them this works
He likes this one
for you
I will just get a Wi-Fi in like 2 months
Not in a rush for it
Or imma just get a extra long Ethernet cable
them let me add on top
Run it through the whole house
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, Radeon RX 6800 XT
the x version
Amazing list ngl
It should
I don’t see a cpu cooler on the list
Ye cos amd ships stock coolers in the boxes but not for 5700x apparently
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, Radeon RX 6750 XT
Man gpu’s r expensive
The gpu will be good for a while tho
the 6800 xt he's sending is really good and again you can get a used one if you don't mid for like 383 in ebay
It's a 4k worthy card
but if you want the new one 583$
I'd say with 8 cores and a 6800xt you're pretty close to endgame
5800x3d would be the next and final step
Btw felix for 7 bucks more he could the kingston ssd
7950x3d
btw is monitor included already in the 1000$ budget or nah?
Oh if monitor was included I'd get the 6800XT used then grab a 200-ish 1440p
if there's the deal
you could get the one I have
$250 1440p 180 hz acer
Also a deal
don't know if they have any
I got the chance to catch the last one
jejeje
1920?
the x27q stays around $199, typically goes on sale
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HYZ9TW/hp-x32-315-2560x1440-165-hz-monitor-2v7v2aaaba this would be the go to imo
Ye
Only catch is no vesa mount but that's, meh
1080p is a hard pass on this build lol
Damn
Too powerful
Lol
Lol
