Hello! I just rebuilt my PC in a new case and with a new gpu but the thing won't post. I used the SSD beforehand on my laptop which I was planning to reformat anyway in the windows install menu thing. I also have an HDD which was just carried over from my last PC. The MB, CPU and RAM were all also the same from my last build. The darn thing won't even post.

Non sfx PSU is going to limit you a lot in terms of itx cases, if you need to stay with the same PSU, probably go with matx

Thermals wise, as long as you can mount an aio, CPU should be fine also assuming you got a decent board with decent VRMs. GPU wise, depends on the case, thermals can be fine in cases where GPU gets direct access to fresh air

Lookup what bios flashback is (updating bios w/ cpu/ram in), which that mobo might not have. Z690 definitely needs a bios update for 13th gen though. Cheap 12th gen (goodluck) to update bios, or switch to a certain other mobo.

Cpu/bios issue can cause a ram debug led, for how Fal described. Plus I wasn't simply guessing on what I said, lol. All current 600 series mobos generally need a bios update for 13th gen, just like z490 needed 1 for 11th gen, etc.

Yep 13th gen is too new so it's unlikely any 600 series board would be updated enough from the factory. Factory to your shopping basket time can be about 6 months.
