i went from 6300 -> 3600 and for like 8 months I had no issues, then one day when I opened the minecraft launcher everything else would freeze for 5 mins, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything else related to do with MC nothing else worked but reinstall and the only thing I could put it down to was windows install being the same, reinstall fixed it

For the swordfish you may have to take off the heatsink to get it to fit on the mobo if the mobo has it's own heatsink where you're installing it

Memory upgrades past what you have become very diminishing returns. Maybe 2% more fps unless you do some manual overclocking.
Also, upgrading memory capacity doesn't improve performance at all and can actually hurt it in some cases.

Ok so it does show up in disk management as disk 1. But it's unallocated

Right click and create a volume

If you're using the whole disk as one partition you can just use the defaults in the window that comes up
