I heard something about Valve embracing games that were based on mods and they were even allowed to sell them on Steam which is crazy to me. Yes they can scratch the lenses, with the included lens spacer my glasses are fine with the headset but my friend does say he can’t fit his even with the spacer, not sure exactly why there my glasses are a bit on the wider side.
Other options are contact lenses which I haven’t tried and there are companies that sell prescription lens covers for headsets as well @rough rock

Both of the Oculus devices only support bog standard USB 3.0. Not that USB 3.2 Gen 1 or Gen 2 will have any problems just sending a USB 3.0 signal, it's just something to remember.
Alternatively, I recommend saying "F Oculus Link" and just use VirtualDesktop

there are 2 main types of tracking, inside out tracking that uses cameras on the headset itself like the rift s/quest or outside in i think its called? which uses external sensor called base stations to see where the controllers and headset are in the play area

i only tested one vr headset in my life so i can't really suggest anything. Though your setup will most probably be okay with whatever you plug into it. I plugged an oculus in my pc at one point (2080) and it worked fairly good after restarting my pc 5 times to make him recognize the headset
it was a hassle enough to not recommend an oculus, but like i said, i never tried something else
(it had trouble everytime i tried to plug it again too)

Hey, I have a ryzen 3 2200G and am using the Vega 8 GPU with 8GB single channel (i know dual is better but thats what I got) . When I play GTA 5, after about 5 minutes, the GPU usage drops down to around 5% for a moment which also causes my FPS to drop. This keeps happening and it becomes unplayable. Plz Help.
