That was another point about different models of the same GPU, a RTX 3080 Suprim X (The highest priced 3080 I know of), and a RTX 3080 Ventus 3x (One of the lowest end cards I know), can perform about the same, given that they get enough airflow.

Intel before 5xx boards decided to limit ram frequency to a max speed on all motherboard models other than the Z models to encourage people to spend more on a motherboard.

So on a B460/H410/H470 board, your ram will only be allowed to run at a max of 2666mhz for i3/i5, and a max of 2933mhz for i7/i9, but you were able to run your ram at any frequency the ram itself could run on a Z490 board.
