can someone help me out here
i found a prebuilt that i thought was at a good price
but i dontknow much about it
ah damn no links
its the Asus ROG Strix GA15DH-DS757
any blatant problems with it?
@topaz shell at what price, and where are you finding it?
well it was on amazon but since its out of stock resellers been going
bonkers
lmao
the only place where its still out of stock for now but has the same price is office depot

usd
What specs

Just gonna give a rough estimate since I'm on mobile
Asus ROG Strix GA15DH-DS757 Gaming Desktop Computer - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.60 GHz - 16 GB RAM DDR4 SDRAM - 1 TB HDD - 512 GB SSD - Tower - Windows 10 Home 64-bit - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB - IEEE 802.11ac
i havent found it for a thousand anywhere tho
Because prebuilts are bad value.
Convince them
hey mr1111
Hey Sassy
but for a prebuilt is that
I tried for a few months and worked
but like for a prebuilt is the value fine
No
I wouldn't by that unless it's 1000$
know any pcs with similar specs
The thing is, the only time prebuilt makes any sense is when they're on a really nice sale
i mean it does have some peripherals on it so
ooh they back
not great b stock deals today
and why are they selling them for so much
lmao ik
yam
bruh
Lmao
Lmao
don't buy that
MSRP + tax/ship would have made this card cost more than 700, so this listing is really only charging like 90 above what you would have paid had you gotten it from best buy
don't support scalpers
its hardly being scalped
doesn't matter
lol yeah thats wayyyyy over MSRP
bruh msrp is 500, max i'de pay is 700 WITh tax and shipping
scalpers man
i thought this was a listing for a 3080
rip
what happened
bruh i dont remember typing in 3070, because i typed in 3080
ebay stupid sometimes nvm
Lol
https://www.evga.com/products/productlist.aspx?type=8 GTX Geforce Titan X SC

^
is a 2080ti for 399$ good deal
yes
really good deal
are you sure
yes
uh
is it a mining one?
kingpin is like one of the best models
oh
tbh that sounds WAY to good to be true
oh nvm
they all selled out
there was 3 on ebay and they were brand new
yesterday afternoon
but they all selled now
oof
probably a scam then
if its true that makes sense
I can find link I post about in other chat yesterday
in the #graphics-cards chat
you can check there
oh wait
here link
@dusk stag
its down :(
and seller had 500 reviews
I've seen a seller with a bunch of reviews sell stuff like that labeled brand new for cheap and it turns out to be a scam. Fell for it once actually.
Luckily eBay's buyer protection is really good.
But idk if it was a hacked account of what, but it can still happen
yeah you can probably buy reviews somewhere
exactly
sketchy asf
nobody on eBay in their right mind would sell brand new kingpin 2080 TIs for 400
10 rebate per fan or per purchase?
10 per fan, i just bought the remaining stock lmao
damnit sassy
damn, i had to cancel order because its limit one rebate per order
so i ordered one
then i went to order a second and they were oos
how many fans per order is it just one?
yeah
maybe i should grab one as a second exhaust fan or third intake
wow
sold out already oof
lol
sad i had to cancel
big oof
there was another one with the same deal but i was jsut seconds off of getting before it went out of stock
yeah, i saw it and went to order and boom, out of stock
thats it, setting the notif settings for this channel to all messages
i keep missing things
lol
hahaha
yeah i've been costant for about an hour now and even im missing a lot
I was pretty sure 309 wasn't that great of a deal
oh i didn't even realise this was tech deals
where? nvm
to be fair it's not THAT big..
nice
besides i ignore most of the orange in newegg as their theme is white and orange
didn't see that huh
nice deal
Hey if I am looking for just a really cheap laptop. My school gave me a chromebook but they are so bad. I just want a laptop because I feel like the quality in a chromebook is just absolutely atrocious.
well i do have a laptop, it has a pentium processor and maybe 4 gigs of ram. Its not very good but all I need for it is a new battery and it would work again.
should I just buy a new laptop or just get a battery for that one
You probably won't get much better for a 'really cheap laptop'
if you dont want to spend more than $300(i think thats about the price for chromebooks) then just get a new battery
ah okay
Depends on the laptop you want
Less than $300-500 get a battery
If you have 300 get a windows laptop if you want freedom or chrome book if you want the ugly
should i get a rtx 3070 or the radeon
i think its just preference they say radeon has better performance but we wont know till they are out. personally im jsut getting which ever i can get my hands on first
I think maybe Radeon but I would wait until benchmarks come out to decide
3070 will probably have better ray tracing but has 8 gb vram which could be an issue for 4K and already is
ok thank you
most likely
good
I got a question about the NewEgg November sales, @ me if you think you could answer it
I was surprised that Fallout 4 @ 1440p with high res texture pack can push GPU RAM allocation to almost 6 GB.
Allocation != usage though.
One of the sales flier things said the Corsair 650 power supply would be on sale for 50$ but I can't find it anywhere
@lone depot
Cx I believe
I'll send a pic of the flier to build pics
@steel lintel prob because it's not black friday yet lol
Shhh
I was just wondering because they got a lot of sales going on for November, and I didn't know if there would be a difference
Thanks tho
mhm
I have it already lol
anyone selling 2080 ti for 500$
get a 3070 for $500 if possible
haha if possible
Too good not to share! Just found this item on Mercari. Tap the link to sign up and get up to $30 off. https://merc.li/DrTGH4W5b

Corsair and NZXT have some of the cleanest looking cases In my opinion. Just really awesome products.
can i get uhhh....1 large rtx and a computer pls. thank you
same
should I wait for a 3060 or just buy a 1660 super now?
Buy 3090
hmm
Will there even be a 3060
Highly doubt it, haven’t seen any news regarding it lately.
There probably will be but there's not a release date or anything like that to wait for
preorder up on b&h
ty sassy, just copped
i hope they can do the graphics cards the same way
wait nvm it seems that even with preorders they sold out quick
I got one at Micro Center in Dallas just now
got there like 20 minutes after they opened expecting them to be sold out, there was even a line wrapping around the building
got a voucher tho
5950 vouchers probably got handed out an hour before open
damn
any good 200-300$ gpus to hold me over until 3070 or 3060
2060

tech deal????
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1542819-REG/intel_ssdpeknw010t9x1_665p_1tb_ssd_m_2.html
i posted that yesterday. Pretty good deal
oh must of missed it
any black friday deals out there soon?
if anyones looking for prebuilts theres some nice ones on new egg on blackfriday sales
this one especially
24% off
plus 100$ with code 4STUDENT
Not bad tbh
yeah ikr
900$ for 2060 and i7
not even that bad without the code
its keyboard and mouse arent that bad for peripherals with a prebuilt ngl
you're getting what looks to be a mech keeb with a mouse, too
it is yeah
very few prebuilts actually say exactly what model keyboard and mouse they give since theyre cheap lol
but msi tells ya
in this one at least
Most people use those until they get their own mouse and keyboard
yeah
thats pretty much what im gonna do
im actually getting this one
since my parents are against building
then upgrade it down the line and stuff
gonna check into this motherboard tho to make sure i can later on
seems decent tho
Upgrades are normal tho? This would be a good start, you can play most games on it 1080p 60fps or higher
yeah i checked its actually over 100 for most
Guys opinion on XPG m.2 vs SN750?
there are a lot of XPG M.2s. Give specifics
SX8200 Pro
Theyre both very good. Whichever is cheaper should work just fine @spark frigate

@spark frigate They changed the memory controller. Just FYI, may not give same performance as before
i doubt it matters for the average consumer
Then buy a cheaper drive
Check this out on @Newegg: Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 80+ Gold 600W SLI/Crossfire Ready Continuous Power ATX 12V V2.4/EPS V2.92 Non Modular Power Supply 5 Year Warranty PS-TPD-0600NNFAGU-2 https://www.newegg.com/thermaltake-toughpower-gx2-gold-ps-tpd-0600nnfagu-2-600w/p/N82E16817153415?Item=N82E16817153415&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-17-153-415-_-11052020
Gold unit 50$ after rebate
yall ever had kittie or..
F
not the worst ketchup and mustard but its not fully modular
Dm me what’s better a Ryzen 5 2600 or a Intel i5 10400
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/AMD-Ryzen-5-2600-vs-Intel-i5-10400/3243vs3737 they're about neck and neck it seems actually
at least in this
2600 better multithread, 10400 better single thread
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/AMD-Ryzen-5-2600-vs-Intel-i5-10400-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3600/3243vs3737vs3481 what about 3600? @paper galleon
I think multithread is better for rendering
so the 3600 would be better than both
Since there are black Friday deals all month, will there still be a black Friday/Cyber Monday sale?
no
those are the only days where all the sales stop
but you got some more sales after
np
genshin impact is better with controller
false
How good of a deal is this? I'm wanting a Ryzen 5 3600 so I'm looking for a decent mobo for like around 100 https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b450-steel-legend/p/N82E16813157869?Item=N82E16813157869&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-13-157-869-_-11052020
good
Cool. I just see prices fluctuate so much I never know
steel legend is a solid board
yeah but I dont think it will support ryzen 5000
so you will be limiting yourself for upgrades
imo would be better to spend a bit more and buy a B550
i mean, its a b450 board
I'll look into that. I was under the impression the only limit of the 450 was that you couldn't overclock with it which I didn't plan on doing anyway
Oh wait I missread
I def can't afford a 5000. This is gonna be my first PC which I plan on keeping for a while
on a b450/b550 mobo you can overclock but there are some features that it doesnt have that x470/x570 has (I cant name the features it doesnt have off the top of my head)
but a b550 would be for upgrading later
Ah gotcha. Thank you!
You are a man (or woman) after my own heart. I was recently bitten by the tech bug and went from never having owned a computer, to building one, all in the last 2 months. So i did a BUNCH of reading and shopping and researching. Times are tight so i wanted to build affordable, but i wanted something that would stay relevent and reliable. Did a lot of learning about b450 vs 550. Early on, they were saying that the b450 boards would not accept 5000 series cpus, then they changed their mind lol. One other thing to consider when choosing b450 vs b550 is access to APU's and older ryzen cpus. B550s will not mesh with a 2000 series cpu (2600) and will not work with 3000 seires apus (3200g or 3400g). In fact, there is no integrated graphics cpu that i know about that will work in a b550 board. (that will probably change in the near future when ryzen puts out their zen3 apus. That specific b450 board only supports regular sata drives the best i can tell. That might not be a huge deal to you right now, but if you think you want to go M.2 anytime in the near future (why not, they are getting pretty cheap), then i would go ahead and pay a bit more for a different board. I bought the asrock b550m pro4 for about $100 after shipping. Its nothing great, but it does have sata and nvme m.2 connections as well as a m.2 connection for an m.2 wifi module.
If i had it to do over again, i would probably go with a b450 or x470 instead of the b550. The reason is compatibility. B450s are compatible with WAY more of the old stuff, and ALL of the news stuff. B550's are only compatible with current and next gen AM4. I have a 3100 cpu. I reasonable upgrade for me COULD have been a higher core 2000 series later on down the line.... but with the board i chose, i will have to stick with 3000 or 5000. Hope i helped more than hurt. This message kinda got away from me lol
@wise marsh
I am referring to your interest in budget ryzen gear lol. Not you yourself
what do you guys think about this combo
thinking about picking it up tomorrow

paying 1120 pre tax for this.
@orchid island I realized 😂 and thank you for sharing your experience and advice!!
I was thinking the 450 would be fine for what I was wanting to do and am so very hyped to make my first computer
Anyone know the difference between the b550 phantom gaming and the b550 pro
Whats a good pc build for 650-800$?
@spiral glen It looks suspicious to me. Send it to me and i will let you know how it holds up to a couple months of gaming. But really, It doesn't look bad. For prebuilts, i would basically take the parts list and then see what you could buy the parts for yourself. If it's not a big difference, then its an ok deal. But do remember, with prebuilts there is often a reason they don't tell you what specific motherboard you are getting or the brand of ssd or the brand of case etc. Reviews do help, but most of them are from people who don't know a lot about them. "Case lights are pretty. Headphones don't sound right. Quick youtube vidoes" are often what you get from reviews.
Also, if you do buy a prebuilt, make sure that you check that your ram is running at the advertised speed (if xmp is not enabled, your ram will only run at a fraction of its advertised speed).
Prebuilts can be nice for people who value their time highly and would rather pay a couple hundred extra dollars and get an all in one warranty rather than researching a building themselves.
Personally, I would rather save several hundred dollars and buy components that do what I need them to do but might not be brand new.
For instance, if you aren't gonna play anything more demanding that rocket league or csgo, that gpu is overkill and you can save $200 ish by going with an old 1060 or rx570
@static shore that all depends on what you want the computer to do
how casual of gaming? do you know what games in particular? and what monitor they will be played on? or are you looking for a monitor to be included in that price?
@orchid island hey there.
thanks for the in-depth explanation and review.
i was mainly going to go with a 2060s + ryzen 5-3600 combo, but had some issues with new-egg and was not able to complete my order.
now, im in the US, and heading back tomorrow, so im somewhat "pressure buying this"
but it seems good, yeah, i loose out a bit compared to the 2060s performance, but i should still be able to play most / if not all games at high settings 60+ fps right?
no worries. I literally just got done building my system and realized that I enjoyed the sourcing and building more than the actual using lol. So i am gettin my fix here.
i plan on playing say, CODW, etc, can i expect great performance off it?
i just sold my 1060 3gb, i5-8400k 16GB system, and im not sure how much of a performance increase ill see of this system?
guessing its going to be incredible, specially when i pair it with a 144hz monitor, i guess its going to look really clean.
high settings at 1080? yes for sure. on 1440 maybe (i think) on 4k.....i would do a lot of research first
or so i hope, from what i know, people reccomend the 2060s more for gaming, but how much of a performance loss can i expect?
userbenchmark.com says that you will get a sizeable upgrade from that. There are vides on youtube that show sideby side comparisons of those combos (8400k vs 3600 and 1060 vs 5600xt) if you search 1060 3gb vs 5600xt you will get tons of info because those are all fairly common parts
Ok so I’m looking to play games on all medium settings, 1080p, main games being r6 seige, minecraft and rocket leauge, for 650-800
@static shore you should be able to build a system much cheaper than that if you dont need a monitor and keyboard and all that
I need the monitor and keyboard
so, would you consider it a worthy buy?
just looking for confirmation before dropping 1200.
i had this in mind, but with taxes it comes out to like 1500 with the monitor included. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-xtreme-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i7-10700f-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-2060-super-1tb-hdd-500gb-ssd-black/6430870.p?skuId=6430870
@spiral glen I would hate to spend your money for you (or anybody) because worthy is a relative value. Non pandemic, not 3 weeks away from black friday.....maybe. But personally I wouldn wait a second and see what comes up. I built my system with a cap of $500 as a decent 1080 60fps rig. So to me, that is crazy expensive. But if you got the dough, it seems like it would do everything that you want it to do. I would personally go with AMD only because of the upgrade path
So what should I get
@static shore what kind of monitor do you want? 1080 or 1440 or 4k? and how high a refresh rate ? 60hz 1080 can be had fairly cheap, but you can easily spend $300 on a 4k 144hz and that would eat up a ton of your budget.
Ok so I’m looking to play games on all medium settings, 1080p, main games being r6 seige, minecraft and rocket leauge, for 650-800
1080p hz anything above 100
ok let me look at parts picker and see what they are going for right now
The 650-800 doesn’t include monitor and peripherals
thanks, guess ill purchase the thing.
if i keep on debating about it, ill probably end up waiting another month.
and not having a PC on me for the next month kinda sucks.... lol.
@spiral glen what makes you want to go for a pre built over building it yourself?
@gusty frigate man, i dont have an answer to that other than "im scared of messing up, dont want to deal with any problems"
shipping everything, picking it up, paying individually for taxes, etc..
and well, messing up mainly, dealing with Cable-Management, dealing with garanties for each individual piece, etc...
I mean they're all good reasons. Before i built mine i knew nothing about computers and I've had it a year now with no hiccups. But if you're wanting a pre built, have you checked out letsbld service that nzxt does?
And honestly, scariest part to be is handling the CPU and putting into the socket @spiral glen
no, no idea about the nzxt program, what is it?
Basically its a pre built service that charges you msrp for the parts, lets you pick the part and i think all they do is charge $100 for the service fee
@sand wagony i am an idiot and i built it myself. booted first try (with used parts). I literally just watched a video about each and every step.
@static shore https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
it is essentially adult legos
@orchid island it’s an empty list
That is a decent little build with a monitor. problem is there is no graphics card in it
meaning to use that build, you would need to go used graphics card.
hold on let me fix that lol
Oh the monitor can be separate
So you can use the monitor money and see what gpu‘a best

sorry. thats the same list. i don't know why it did that
It’s cool
Reason: Duplicated text
Reason: Duplicated text
rip
That's a little messed up
this is why i dont like auto mods
How is two duplicate texts "too many infractions?"
that was shatty lol
@static shore i just dm'd it to you. the bot thinks i am spamming the chat. this is somehting that i would personally build if i was going all new. I would honestly probably try to save some money buy going used on the gpu, but thats not for everyone. also i DID not check gpu clearance for that specific case. That is something that you would need to check ( i didn't do a ton of research on the case because there are so many around the same price point. Some peopole REQUIRE a power supply shroud because it looks better. Some people think it looks tacky to put a matx board in a full atx case, i don't mind it (more room to move are, but also more air that needs to be moved so more fans might be better.) so on the case that you choose, make sure that its got good airflow with either front mesh or big wide openings for air. And i would suggest that the top of the case to have holes in it as well. 2 intake fans in the font and exhaust at the back.
Can anyone personally recommend a pcie 4.0 m.2 NVME? Found some for low prices but don’t know what’s reliable or trusted, currently have a 970 evo but it’s only gen 3.
If you want the fastest of the fastest the 980 pro is out
Not sure if the other controllers are out for retail yet. The current ones are all running the same controller and what-not so they're all pretty similar in speed.
Reason: Bad word usage

When is NE BF?
👍
first time ive ever seen somebody recommend an hdd over an ssd
might be because it's a bad SSD
I don't know what the quality of the Silicon Power A55 is though
couldn't find it on the SSD spreadsheet
@shadow herald if you go for the 980 pro, get the 1tb version
The 500gb and 250gb are way slower
SSDs are faster when they have more flash to pool from
ryzen 7 5800x for 529 dollars
@cedar yew What mobo do you have?
what are you going to use it for?
bruh
I got so lucky to get a 5800x. Best buy was my last resort
Any 30 series cards in stock 😭
Big heartbreak. The video card I wanted was like 80 off on the 1st and the 3rd (checked the price on the 2nd and 4th) and now it's back to full price 😔
What card? @wise marsh
Oh yeah it was like $230, hella deal
Yuuuuup. Big sad. I'm hoping there might be another sale when the 6000 releases
In stock when? Lol
yeah i doubt itll ever be back in stock, mostly cause its DDR3
But what if xeon workstation
then buy used ddr3 :P
Can't say no to a 150 dollar workstation
Especially on a budget for 300 dollars including peripherals
But what if xeon workstation
@cobalt viper Xeons are really cheap for 1366 platform
Just have to get a compatible motherboard for one
Ooo
Even better
2011 was good, but not for price
Same with 2011-3
If i was in the market for new computers id go with 2066 anyway
There's actually someone in my area selling a T3600 with 2011v3 that I want soooo bad
I think it has an E5 1607 v3 or somthing, cpus are really cheap on server supply.com rn
I got a 2630v2 for 40
Sadly I didn't know it wasn't compatible with the 3600 because Dell wanted to sell more t3610s
Yeh that one
I was thinking of switching it to an intel i7
I always forget the high end i7 nomenclature
9900k?
Yes
At 10 cores 20 threads
25mb of cache
But it'd have to be supported by the motherboard
@lone depot https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1542819-REG/intel_ssdpeknw010t9x1_665p_1tb_ssd_m_2.html

Do y'all think graphic cards are gonna go on sale after the 6000 series releases? Right now the MSI RX 5600 XT is 259 after a mail-in rebate, do y'all think it'll go lower?
True. I think I'll wait till then then
That’s a nice deal for a SSD from intel.
AMD is acting like this is uno and the opponent has 1 card but AMD has a hand full of 4x and 2x that they are gonna stack
yeah i guess you could say that
imma buy all my pc parts and then wait for the gpu till like late december or early jan
Is this worth?
thats normal price, i think its worth. Have it mysewlf
Ah I thought it was cheap cause of promotion price
I think that’s normal too, maybe on actual Black Friday it’ll be a bit cheaper
kHs ONE was not designed to be a fat analog beast with a massive warm sound. That just happened anyway.
kilohearts vst synth on sale, free with code APGONE don't know much about it but if anyone into music you can check it out
Hi
Hi
What’s difference between h410m n b460m
Will be using 10100F
It’s cheap ?
90
get a 3200g
it's so much better
has a good stock cooler included
and has cheaper mobos
Ok
3200g costs 100$
What’s the cheapest 3200g mobo with “intel” gb lan?
I need it for its stability n reliability.
3200g is meh
for 100$ it's good enough
Sorry I’m new to this channel. Should I ask in build-chat
and the money you save with the stock cooler inculded and the cheaper motherboards
yes
definitely
hi
hello
in case someone needs 5600x and 5800x restock on newegg
5600x sold out in the minute i typed that mb
huh? a 10100f is faster than the 3200g?
so did the 5800x sorry :(
hey man you did what you could
yeah just dont wanna get peoples hopes up ik the feels i would want one too, i do want a 5800x but ima wait for a black friday or if a rtx 3080 situation occurs with crashes
seriously though i havent seen as many people dunking on amd for having similar stock problems as nvidia, like i get it amd is king and i like amd too but kinda double standards
Im surprised we even got a restock this early ngl
its like they forget the 3300x is still a mythical cpu
Btw if u do want an amd processor i would recommend trying to go to ur local microcenter!
or that the 3800x and 3900x where out of stock for like 5 months
for all residents close to those 25 locations
rip florida
true lmao
and like half the country
yeah it definitely is im upset that i probably wont get either for black friday, but ill still hold out just incase i can save some money
i was able to snag a p500a for sale i believe its still up but im happy with that full price purchase
got it plus a real god z490 board for like 150 off and one of my justifications outside of price was that who knows if i'll get a zen 3 cpu
poof it was true
yeah availability cause of the virus is pretty bad, but i get it, im not really a believer in the artifical shortages. but hey if it is true thatd be a bad image
i look at other cases and i'm like man they look good but its not like there are major problems with my nr600
like would i buy a lancool 2 mesh? yeah
same for the p400a+
but i dont really need it
i got the p500a for functionality i have a bunch of 140mm fans that i could use and plan on an NHD15 cause i dislike the sound that comes off of most cpu coolers
trust me most cases wont LMAO
things kinda tall
oh i'm technically in spec
just rather not have it rub against the glass
fair
even it its just the fan rubbing up against it
i believe i have clearance for it in the p500a but if not the dark rock pro 4 is also an option
although for some reason one fan of my ninja 5 is doing it anyway
last resort is an AIO
probably a 5900x/5800x depending on availability
i just want it to look good to i get the functionality but i dont wanna look at a silver metallic cpu cooler on my desk ngl
fuma 2 is basiaclly just a 120 version of a nhd15
yeah ive seen the performance numbers very similar at stock probably runs just as quiet with some better fans
i do not understand why we don't have any microcenters down here
they would get so much business
(here as in florida)
yeah fl is a major population state
microcenters are also super cool honsestly the people that work at the microcenter near me are very nice overall
god damn i wish i still lived in america so i can go to microcenter and buy parts
nice thing about fuma 2 is the rame clearance and height
i plan on getting crucial ballistix ram so i dont think ill have that problem HOPEFULLY
when thats on sale that is
like reg ram that you wont show off?
yeah probably some neutral colored crucial ballistix ram, i have rgb strips and fans that i want to shine, rgb ram for me is too much
my build is pretty much blacked out except the accents on the ninja 5's fans
but then eventually the 3080 step up will come in
i do hope the 6800xt does compete well with the 3080
and rainbow barf the midsection of my pc
u could make it a neutral color or disable it right?
i'm sure it will rasterization wise
probably will fall behind in RT
i guess i could but it'd still be an off strip
true
my thing is
every amd card i've had has had real bad coil whine
and that just some crap luck
im also concerned about drivers tbh
yes they have fixed drivers but also new cards idk tho, im not very technical in that sort
its funny how big the capacitor thing was before new drivers came out
for 3080
launch drivers are pretty meh always
yeah
my plan was getting a tuf 3080, so i would have been fine but ill keep holding off until i see what a 6800xt has to offer
16gigs of vram would be nice
its just i feel like i have more consistent working drivers for nvidia
like
16gb is a cool thing to have i just dont know when it'd really be utilized
tbh at 4k itd be nice but i wouldnt play every game at 4k for sure
id definitely bump my monitor down to 1440p for fps or that sort
thing is even at 4k like the 10gb of the 3080 isnt fully utilized most of the time
so itd be used only for 60fps triple aaa titles but definitely not esports titles
doesnt watchdog legions run it to the max?
well watch dogs legion is also a ubisoft game
that is quite true
these are games i plan on playing unfortunately huge assassins creed fan, but for other sight seeing games its fine?
i like ac its just it doesnt really feel like ac anymore?
ever since 3 and after the gameplay changes i couldnt agree more
story went way too far out for me
like narratively 3 was a good end
after it the animus stuff was just kinda like why do you exist
and while origins was real cool
after it was kinda like its not really assassin's creed, just kind of a regular rpg that happens to have something similar to a hidden blade at some point
for sure
and you remember when the hidden blade was cool as hell?
and you were like damn you gotta lose a pinky finger for it
now its just like
ah yes hidden blade
like even by the point you get to ac3 time period wearing a gauntlet is really weird
i did enjoy syndicate a lot as well
but after the major gameplay rpg aspect chnages i felt like the game lost its shine that made me come back each time
it had a pretty decent story
bayek was pretty great
i dislike how the apple now pertains to nearly everything and is a troupe that creates mythological creatures
its funny
like before that mythical things were just the gods and that AU connor dlc where he was trippin hard
the tyrant GW one where connor could like turn into animals or something
man its been a while
i fell kinda old
feel*
I remember playing AC 3 and i remember bugging through walls so much i clipped through atleast 10 during the mian story
like still i like bayek a lot but its hard to replace ezio
the make it extra hard to forget him
especially since they do a new rendition of the ezio's family track every game
Nice tech deals here
because you itched the wrong spot
yup
someone should make tech for that
me too
rebar
slam it in there
itch gone, and most of your knee and nerves. aswell as the knee cap
but that doesnt matter. because the itch is gone
just dont exist thats extremely effective
How does Newegg’s refund policy work? Do they pay for return shipping? Do they charge restocking etc for Holiday returns?
i dont think they charge returning fees
https://www.newegg.com/msi-radeon-rx-5600-xt-rx-5600-xt-gaming-mx/p/N82E16814137571?Item=N82E16814137571 I saw this at 260 earlier this week, then it went up to 280, and now its out of stock
will it go down
when its back in stock
or will it just keep increasing
@pure lintel i went threw the steps to do a return and they absolutely rob you. 15$ return shipping, 30% restocking fee. This is a joke.
Ya your better off selling your items on hardwareswap then returning them here.
yeah
Broken you would claim warranty. This is for straight out return.
just say its unopened and if they decide to charge a restocking fee at the facility then they will charge you otherwise get your full refund
I for one think re-stocking fees are legit
worked for a open box but nothing unrapped distro plate
like i think you can take the hit of a 3 cent sticker as a major corp
I have a motherboard. The box didn’t have a seal but of course I unsealed the bag to inspect for dmg.
and not make a $10 profit for a sticker
say its doa...
they will replace it then make your return
or they will test it
easier if they just send you a new unit then referbing it
I think I’ll keep the damn thing as a back up. Friend canceled on a build and it is a x570 Tomahawk
I’m not gonna lose 50$ to this
resell on Amazon?
You can! I didn’t know a normal person could do easily? How does warranty work with that then?
i think it would be from your date of purchase. I could be wrong though
Dude that’s a 40$ subscription.
oh. ebay would be your best option then i think. didnt know you had to pay to sell things on Amz
@tired marlin it was also like 230 a few days ago. Really disappointed I didn't get one. Id wait until the 18th after AMD releases their new graphics cards. Hopefully the old ones prices will go down
That walmart monitor deal seems really good. Should I wait till later black friday deals? I would love a large monitor, that pixel density is abysmal though.
(But my computer is more a 1080p machine anywa7)
black friday and cyber monday probably best days for it
Hope I can see one that beats this. I just want a bigger screen to counter my bad eyesight, but it would feel bad to get such a non-future proof monitor.
I'm probably gonna buy that monitor
It's a really good price for 165 hz and 32"
My pc is also designed for 1080p
Does anyone think a ryzen 5 3600 is gonna go on sale?
Apparently this guy in my town with a butt ton of x99 stuff for cheap has x79 and x58 boards + cpu ram combos too
forizzle?
Yeah
Like
X58 with a 6 core and 12gb for $50
X79 with a 8 core and 16gb for $100
X99 with an 8 core and 32gb for $150
Prices he gave me
@pure lintel
First two are ddr3
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/336022697009726/ appreciate the ram speed

https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F
If anyone wants a great monitor for a good price try this one
Just change it to the 165hz model and its for some reason cheaper
dam
is the monitor pog
whats a rebate
i think you mail a piece of paper and they give you a check or return money of equal value
money back via mail
heck
I just remembered top fan area for the nr200 only supports 120mm fan
so idk where this would even fit
so if i buy the fan, they give me 10$ so i basically get them for free
Ye
You might pay tax depending on where u live
I paid 75 cents
Still a good deal for a fan tho lol
Shipping was free for me

They have ones that are cheap and look crappy, there are ones that are expensive and also look crappy
They have ones that perform like crap too!

$350 for ryzen 5 5600x thoughts?
you can get a ryzen 7 3800x for the same price basically
$350 is basically normal price after tax lmaoo, grab that
yeah that's what i was thinkin
its some guy selling it on FB marketplace bc he decided he wanted the 5900x after he ordered the 5600x and he doesn't like scalpers, so he selling it at what he paid + shipping cost, but he did say that its first come first serve, and that the day he gets it in the mail he will msg everyone who contacted him about it at the same time and first one gets it
mini microcenter who?
ill fight someone fo dis
why buy ryzen cpus
ur right, when i could just get a macbook with their new apple arm chips
smh why didn't i think of that
thx for the wisdom
yup, best gaming performance
i could argue that its better but people can have opinions

@foggy cedar is it an SMD or thru hole?
Idk the capacitance or whatever
If you're selling a capacitor, you need to know the capacitance if you want someone to buy it
I'm not sure if capacitance is right, but I know you need to have it listed if you're selling it lol
if it's a normal capacitor it's probably only worth a couple cents and not worth the cost of shipping
Especially if it's only a single one
if it's a supercapacitor though
👀
has ebay been cracking down on the cheap win10 pro keys
when I searched I used to find a ton of results that email you a key for <$5
now there's only 1 or 2
@frail wagon thats the one i got in my pcpp list ready to order lol
lol the design on those ram modules
is a used gtx 1070 for $153 good deal
@fossil gate You can probably get it cheaper if you look a bit more of course but at that price I would go for it!
Rtx2060 super for 300 worth??
Yeah, that's a good price from what I've seen. I'm not nearly an expert though
"I am selling a 3080" sounds like you're selling something
Scumbag.
Id recommend you try Hardware swap Reddit or Ebay
how much does a b550/x570 wifi motherboard usually cost?
Pcpartpicker
@mint pagoda my x570 with wifi was like 250
msi x570 progaming wifi
there cheaper
buy once cry once
in my pcpp build i have an $180 wifi mobo
is a used gtx 1070 for $153 good deal
@fossil gate no
I mean, technically yes, but it depends on which two cards you comparing specifically
1080ti is more of a a fight with 2070
1080 is more of a 2060 fight
Those are sexy.
ik i thought i had a rlly good build for a thousand dollars but then i realized i had my pc part picker on USA
and then the price skyrocketed to like 1500
I feel you the same happened to me but it was like around 1100 and went straight to 2000
that's crazy
Idk if this is the right place to ask but where can I find open box deals or cheap and refurbished deals.
I’m trying to get started on my own pc build but I’m at a limited budget 😅
newegg.com has some open box deals i think
what is your budget?
if you dont mind me asking
I’m wouldn’t mind spending 500 bucks but I like to go under that 🙂
oh you can make a pretty sick pc for $500
with used parts
I built a full rig for around $250 with a ryzen 3 1300x / gtx 970
I’m kinda going for a sleeper build with this old pc that I got from my uncle and I have bought a refurbished b550 board
But I didn’t realized how limited I was going to be when I bought it 😅
Yeah I’m totally not mad
hey btw lets move to build chat
