Halo CE: great gameplay, peak music, visuals are ok even by today's standards. Story is underdeveloped but can be excused by the fact it was originally supposed to be a one-off.

Halo 2: peak in videogame form. Awesome gameplay(except for the dang sniper jackals) music is about as good as it gets, and story is sooo good.

Halo 3: good graphics, gameplay is a step down from two imo mainly bc no dual-wield and the stupid cortana/gravemind visions, peaker than peak music, and a story, that, while flawed in some places, is just simply amazing.

Halo 4: better graphics with a not so great artstyle, gameplay is... ok but the prometheans are so darn boring, music is ok(I didn't care tbh) and story is pretty good but involves a lot of retcons and only works if you don't know too much about the Halo universe beforehand.

Halo 5: good graphics, same crap artstyle, gameplay is on par with 4 for the same reasons, music is fairly good, but story is abysmal. Makes no sense, retcons just about everything, and makes no sense. Only redeeming quality is the multilayer, or so I've heard.

Halo infinite: great graphics, artstyle finally looks like it was made by someone who played halo, great gameplay, very good music, and okayish story that kind of falls flat and gives chief a completely different personality.

I am so tired of windows and terrible NVIDIA drivers. I want to punch a hole in my monitor

restart PC, install new drivers, stream problematic game in servers for hours on end to make sure its not freaking out anymore. Stream in an empty server for an hour to nobody, and it works. Have my boyfriend join into the server, and instantly the performance tanks. it goes back to massive stutters every 1/4th of a second. I close out of everything, now my whole desktop runs like that

All of my windows, all of the animations, they all have a 1/4th of a second spread out 100ms stutter that makes everything impossible to use

I did DDU, and its fine. I install new drivers and its fine. I go into a different game and its fine. I stream it on discord, and it immediately freaks out everything again. Forces games to crash, can't play and stream anything to my boyfriend. Can't play the awesome new game I want because I only want to play it if hes watching

Hair FX in general is just really hard to do and I don't think any game has done it well yet

Silent Hill 2 had good hair FX but you could still see the pixelated elements

And you can tell what games are Resident Evil games because the RE engine does hair a certain way, it's really noticeable

most igpu even in the past (with less performance obviously) could also do like 12 hours advertised (probably closer to 6-8 hours actual)

though my laptop (asus zephyrus g15) originally advertised up to 12 hours batt life, but even with everything turned all the way down (brightness, vol, igpu only, debloated windows from their preinstalled apps, silent/power saving power profile, only 1 tab of youtube running, i still only managed like 10.5 hours 💀
