Why Cheap OEM Keyboards (Aula, Ajazz, Yunzii, etc.) Suck.

All budget keyboards from brands like Aula, Ajazz, Yunzii, Monsgeek, Royal Kludge, etc. use the same generic OEM PCBs and components across numerous (and sometimes all) products. This leads to the same key issues across the board:

PCBs are quite low quality and degrade super quickly, causing higher latency and inconsistent key detection after only a couple months of use. Notorious examples include: Aula F75, Ro

Firmware support being minimal or just non-existent, with bugs and reliability problems often remaining unfixed. They also tend to force proprietary software. This, paired with the bugs and terrible support, leaves people with fancy bricks if their boards face an issue.

Build quality issues like streaky, warped CNC cases, fragile / poorly made keycaps, and unreliable batteries (sometimes even overheating or going kaboom) are quite common. LEDs and wireless connectivity components are also fairly prone to failing prematurely.

The only problem I have with GG is that they expect you to use keyboard shortcuts with only a single key modifier while having multiple services to use shortcuts with (so, just Alt, just Ctrl, or just Shift. You can't do anything like Ctrl+Alt+Shift+<key>)

Ark Ascended is harder to run because they crank visual details for every little thing to high but isn't that horribly optimized unlike Rust which is a bloody nightmare. Rust manages to make a damn near Roblox looking character run worse then Ark when set to similar graphics.
