I got it at the end of 2023 - like, October-November timeframe. At that point, you got $4000 tax credit for buying a used EV from 2 or more model years prior. So there were no funny games with the vehicle price.
In 2024 it was changed, and the tax credits applied at the time of purchase. So you had dealers who would list the price with the tax credit applied already
you'd have to check closely to see what they were advertisign exactly

And if the aib isn't built properly, using a screw to fasten it down can result in the aib being held in place at an angle anyways
