Not really. Partner cards used to mean something back when in house cards were not really good, but nowadays the in house ones are fine, so the partner ones tend to just be factory oc'd versions with fancier coolers

they'll all perform roughly the same but some will be cooler or quiter or have better rgb or a longer warranty etc etc etc. for the most part i just buy whatever is cheapest within reason. if it's $10 more to get something with a cooler twice as big, sure i'll do that. but mostly just whatever is cheap

I just run voicemeter as my soundboard. The added benefit is that it does not allow auto sleep or restarts. I live in a place with cheap enough electricity so it doesnt really matter to me to leave pc running. Thus, almost never run into a dumb auto update
