I'd use the one that comes with your PSU or an equivalent replacement. I burned up two SSDs (only 250gb so at least it wasn't terrible) accidentally using a SATA power cable for a Thermaltake PSU on an Enermax PSU because they looked virtually identical. The problem was on the SSD side that the 12v & 3.3v were switched. I definitely wouldn't leave things up to chance for your GPU. If you have a multi-meter, you can look up the pinout for the 12vhpwr cable but you'd have to test that each of the cables within the 12vhpwr has the correct voltage on the device side--i.e., it's likely a mission to be sure
