Many of those companies could just do an "unsupported" Windows 11 upgrade, like the IT guys could use Rufus and get around the minimum requirements. That would hurt Microsoft financially. So Microsoft has real motivation to end Windows 11 updates on installs on unsupported hardware when W10 hits EOL.
