Altec makes some outstanding speakers, specifically the Rockbox XL is a speaker I've had for 3 years, still works, plays loud, is water proof, it floats, does everything you can imagine.

The new Rockbox XL 2.0 is much improved, they buffed the battery to power 120W output VS the 50W on the OG model I have.
