the main problem i see with mimicking humans is how complex humans are
like, engineers have struggled for quite some time to make bipedal robots be even able to walk on uneven terrain while humans (generally) are able to traverse with no issue (maybe an occasional injury from a rolled ankle or something)

and the more complex a robot is the more difficult it is to fix it when something inevitably goes wrong
