Afik 30 & 40 were limited by voltage. 20 series seemed way more limited by PL for me at least. I ran KingPin vbios on my EVGA SC & the core temp like doubled with stock cooler lol
I was trying to find the KP vbios on techpowerup but it doesn't look like they're there. I think I have them on my benching drive thing
You can't directly address the voltage controller but it will set PL to like 1000w

I got an alphacool waterblock for less than $30 on performance-pcs for mine. With liquid metal it performed pretty well. Much much better than the stock cooler at least
