update: I got the wifi card working, after troubleshooting last night I have stumbled through some weird issues with ram (gotten two bsods). Trying each slot with both or one stick I've found that one of the slots (B2) was actually unstable af. I also switched the custom ILM contact frame back to stock to ensure best contact, and used both sticks on different slots.

Though MSI keeps warning me that those ram slots are unoptimized (A1-B1)

I accidentally took home a school laptop and kept it after graduation. No point in returning it so I decided to put my own installation of Windows on it. The BIOS was locked but it was just "admin". Easiest password crack I've ever done at the time
