To troubleshoot, I swapped back to my old CPU to test, and while doing that, I noticed the thermal paste hadn’t been evenly applied. It was in a circular pattern, covering most of the processor but not all four corners.

currently i put my old cpu 5700G on with old rams g.skill 2x16gb

rtx 4070ti
msi 850w psu
the ones i took off are 5800x3d and 2x32gb rams
with the current setup i'm having no issues - even run 3 games at the same times with tons of browser tabs no issues at all.
but with 5800x3d i would run nothing but PoE2 for example and it will start freezing and within 10 sec or so complete freeze
