You generally need to use better components for better efficiency, but that doesn't mean a 80+ platinum is always better than a 80+ gold unit, since that is only one efficiency rating that doesn't show the whole picture. There are 80+ gold units that meet or even exceed 80+ platinum efficiency requirements at certain load levels, but do not meet it at others, or the product is launched before they get the report for the efficiency rating so a unit could be advertised with a lower rating than it actually achieves.

I looked at the 3600 kit, yeah it's a hynix set, you could try 3600 to see if it works

Because of the type of chips I can see, I could see it potentially working

But that's only because I can identify it

You can't do that on new kits, only used/purchased ones

Cos every brand draws from a pool of possible ram chips to use in their kits, typically a set of the same, and the way of knowing is by what the registered sticker on the physical kit has

So they could be samsung, hynix, micron, nanya etc

All possible options inside a ddr4 ram kit

From g.skill, corsair, kingston etc

In this case it's hynix which is often good for higher memory frequency (i.e 3600 is easier on them than others)

But that comes with no guarantee
