updated bios recently due to the 13 series issue thing

limiting to 200w in bios makes it max out at 90c

hmm if I had to guess that sounds like pump shutting off intermittently

in BIOS (quickest way to get there is admin cmd: shutdown /r /fw /t 0 ) check on the fan monitoring area what the RPM reading is (click on it to change to l/hr while you're at it lol)

so it's moving

& if you don't hear the pump gurggling or whatever, there's probably not air in it

so why it's cooling poorly would have to be a contact issue, paste issue, or junk in the cold plate

I mean if you got a major change from 80C idle to 42C idle before, it's possible the contact frame isn't evenly tight, too loose, or something else contact-related with the coldplate on the AIO too

in my experience, 13th gen wants you to park a truck on top of the CPU to get good contact lol

lol for my 13900KS, I usually use a Heatkiller IV Pro water block

the main reason I like the Heatkiller is because I got this backplate for it

every other backplate I've used allowed the board to warp
