Oh right statik didn't you get a q1
No switches or haven't bother to put switches in?
Why not just get a Thinkpad?
i put the switches and keycaps on, just didnt mod it yet
I have some random macbook that I currently use sometimes but never take around everywhere, If I use it more I will prob get a keychron ¯_(ツ)_/¯
is cat 5e ethernet cable good enough for wifi atm?
Are "Gaming" chairs good? or is it better and cheaper to get office chairs
dont cheap out on a chair. wouldnt recommend a gaming chair but dont go super low in price
get a good or decent ergo chair
can consider it if youre able to test it which sounds weird but to be safe in case cushion is borked or something is messed up or something
some people buy used herman miller chairs for the cheaper price
Herman Miller chairs are great options if any offices are having liquidation sales or whatever
Due to this chat recommending the AKG K361 and K371 often I'm considering the K361, what DAC should I get for it if I end up getting it?
Okay, I'll look into it.
schiit fulla next step up
Is it the USB C one?
Not the Fulla.
But the Meizu one?
My PC doesn't support USB-C so I guess I'll have to get an adapter for it, would any old USB type A to USB type C work? 'Cause I probably have one laying around somewhere.
Anything should work
Ah okay.
and yes meizu is usb-c
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1A-Frameless-1920x1080-adjustable/dp/B08D3Y5PFZ/ref=sr_1_2?is a good monitor?
i wouldnt recommend a curved monitor at 24" and just me personally i wouldnt recommend a curved monitor in general because im biased but for around the same price theres this too
https://www.amazon.com/VG248QG-G-Sync-Compatible-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B0829S7178/ref=psdc_1292115011_t2_B08D3Y5PFZ?th=1
for like $5 theres a 165hz version but not entirely sure what they changed on that one
im hyped, my mayflash is arriving in a week
get the flat ips version
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087N4LQPN? I brought this
oh ggs
What wireless headphones for gaming should i get under 100$
Anyone have recommendations of a good 4k monitor that is 120-144 hz?
gigabyte m28u
Actually in stock now
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824012040
Thats actually one of the best ones I have seen. I have a Acer Predator 27 inch, 4k monitor and unfortunately, only after a year, I am getting dead pixels. Every month or so I am getting a new one. It's more of a daily annoyance than anything and I am not that picky, but I am planning for when I will need to replace it. I bought it refurbished from Best Buy during 2020, so even if it was faulty, there's nothing I can do.
Also, I wanted to get a dual monitor stand, but the Acer monitor doesn't allow me to take off the back. The monitor stand is permanently on the monitor itself.
Question: Is it possible or rather, moral, to sell a monitor with dead pixels? Is it worth the effort to try and sell it on Ebay or something (obviously being forthright with the dead pixel issue to buyer).
Is it worth getting all logitech peripherals so I don't have like 4 different softwares in the background
i mean depends on what the peripherals are because you can reduce software by just picking out the right hardware. get an actual pair of decent headphones instead of gaming headphones. you really wont need software for them.
keyboard, depending on the keyboard if you want rgb theres plenty of keyboards that have on-board memory and you can customize it just through keybinds/shortcuts so you dont need software for that.
so really mouse would be the only thing youd need software for
👀 superlight
know any good website for modded gmmk pro?
Currently I have a logitech g602 which imo it's fine but a bit heavy and was looking at the razer viper mini and logitech g203 and then I found the Steelseries Rival 3 which I heard was better for palm grip and bigger hands. What do you guys think?
Have you tried to RMA it with Asus?
also, m28u review here
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m28u
what are the best wireless gaming headphones for gaming under 100$
Looking for an upgrade over my Koss UR40s after Christmas. Any ideas of what I could get maybe at the $80ish mark?
want bass?
I’m tryna game
But yea bass is cool for music
Like a good mix of video gaem quality and music quality
(cal se might be fun)
corsair k70 rapidfire or hyperx alloy elite 2?
if youre lucky you might be able to score a k361/71 for around that price
i dont recommend any keyboards from the mainstream gamer companies
doesnt exist and i wouldnt recommend a gmmk pro even if you mod it yourself unless youre a diehard glorious fan
conclusion on q1 is still needs modding but hey, it should be better after modding than gmmk pro
yup
q1 is like a tofu, has a lot of modding potential
gmmk pro is glorious cash grab product lol
couldnt even get kailh hotswap sockets, knew it had stab issue b4 launch from early reviews but still shipped order and proceed to leave it unfix until a few months later lol
lol
no qmk/via support until they kicked an angry github nerd from server for complaining
he basically did it himself
Didn't it have issues with compatibility with iirc durock screw in stabs?
screws on the gmmk pro are also notorious for stripping
anything that wasnt goat stab really
'goat'
zeal seemed to work but you shouldnt be buying anything zeal nowadays tbh
ye goat lol
its p hard to mess up stabs but they somehow manage to do it
Ive bought cheap amazon oem stabs and they work better
I mean, the problem is just how they tried to hype it up
lol
alexoto saved the pro at launch then they repay him by stealing his keyset design
gloros moment
I want to like them but I just can't
its hard to
Reason: Bad word usage
rip
bruh, poop is a bad word
poop is bad
glorious cs is p good
Only $50? I can get something higher end if there’s something available.
cal sacrifices in build quality a bit but drivers are goated
if you want an all around balance unit in terms of sound and build then k361
not balance sound signature, def v shape ish
and again yea k361/k371 can be good if on sale
also cb1s or takstar pro 82s
im also tempted to pick up cal se but i feel like ima get teaks in the near future
but just 50$
theyd forsure retire the cal se
tru
ive been wanting some new iems
and the new beats are p tempting
might aswell wait til black friday to see any price drops
but I'll have to ponder a while on if I want to buy it
I was thinking about buying before black friday so I have this before I go on break and go on a huge spending spree on other things
How big of an upgrade is it over my UR40s
i gotta have money saved for tht
because knowing myself there's a decent change I might go all out for like schiit stack and maybe a k612 pro and that kinda thing
and I need to dissuade myself
im kinda interested in the zen dac v2
i dont think id want teaks as much if i had xbass on my sundaras lol
What’s the difference between all these and the cal se
isn't it like 160$ though
zen dac prices keep going up and up
I liked it when it was 120$ and directly comparable in price to schiit fulla :(
i forgot how the sound sig on the others are tbh, its been a long while since i actually looked into audio but theyre all budget picks that are p decent
the two i mentioned has a bit better build quality but prob has the same v shape sound sig
ye tru, but apparently there is some improvements
i didnt really look too deep in it, but i remember searching it up when seeing the price change
Any like, major things that set them apart that you know of?
cal se biodynamic drivers should handle low end the best theoretically
itd lack in build quality compared to the other two tho
I mean
if you can stretch your budget id jus go with k361
Then again my UR40s feel like the cheapest thing ever lol
you could honestly hit endgame there
ur40 is very cheap feeling and all
for closeback under 500ish *
And remember I’m going for a gaming headphone, not music centered
Still would recommend k361 tho?
Ight I mean if I can just buy that and not upgrade for like ever that would be sweet
Don’t need a dac for it right
gaming headsets jus bass boost everything lol
trying to define a 'gaming' headphones is weird anyways
Just tryna hear them juicy footsteps in valorant
k361 the pick then
should have better sound stage then all the headphones we mentioned so far
Only $105 isn’t too far over budget anyways
if you can wait, it may drop in price
Well yeah I’m not buying rn
ive seen k371 for the same price as 361 a few times
only difference between the two iirc was color and 71 has a bass boost
same drivers etc
Ah sweet
some ppl prefer the 61 more but if you like bass or is use to gamer headsets you might appreciate the bass boost that 371 provides
np
Bluetooth version makes it bad iirc @devout fiber
we need compressionless wireless data streaming
now
No no like the little dongles that come with some mice
what is yalls dpi and sensitivity? And the game you main?
400 dpi and main game that i do play right now where sens matters is val and i have it at a 0.6
Dunno why but I play around at different sensitivities from time to time, 600/800/1200 mainly
Might depend on the mouse tbh
I used to play at what I thought was 4000dpi on a g402(?), But when I tried that on a different mouse, it was just way too fast, and so I settled down around 800dpi
Low bandwidth and high latency
1000 dpi, i play val
DPI is 400, I don't really main any games.
what are your guys' thoughts on buying used headphones?
worth or just buy brand new ones
400 seems so low. what mouse do you have
Logitech G203.
I really don't like high DPI.
I would say new but tbh idk
oh
Maybe I'd crank it up to 800 once in a while.
Depends where you get them, there are some audiophile communitys where people just buy headphones use em for less than a year than sell them, but they usually higher end headphones
oh ok ty
800 feels high to me at times lol
I thought Dpi doesn't matter in games and it's all around game sens instead
like people with low dpi have high game sens and people with high dpi have low game sens, so they're actually around the same sensitivity basically
they arent because of travel time, pixel travel, etc
right now theres a wave of people switching over to high dpi low sense because of lower pixel travel
also each has their own benefits depending on the weapons you like and how you aim
ah ok
people that aim with their wrist tends to like higher dpi
people that aim with their arm tend to like lower dpi
does having a lower pixel travel make aiming smoother or something?
slightly
because it translates to how much your mouse moves across each pixel so having higher dpi means it travels more pixels
think of it somewhat like refresh rate in a way where higher refresh can show more because it can show more pixels quicker/smoother
haha this is great
he got spammed in a bunch of channels with a lot more insults because he rated a switch lowish
arent queens jus another pricey jwk
idk but probably
I used to be a 4000 user on my g502 but it is way too fast for any light mouse
me who uses 400 dpi and low sens in game with my ~60g mice
I have a 80g mouse and I use 800 dpi and 1.5 sens
I have a really small mousepad tho
so idk what I would use with a big mousepad
i hate opinions

Skip that you?
hes been talking more in glorious server
Idek if this is the right place to post but can someone help me with my audio interface issues? I keep getting a static sound when I plug it into my computer, and I can confirm it’s not the interface that’s the issue
It seem way more people than I thought use around 400-800 dpi
400-800 seems so slow but Its probably just the mouse I use
Yeah but they once said, that "preference is dumb"
left that craphole
Good
This is only server you need
is it keyboard drama time
i saw hali and some others leave what happened
hali left?
good for him
basically glorious cloning alexoto's set while theyre partnered
and alex saved their butts during gmmk pro launch
Bruh what
mm yes glorious cloning stuff
never seen that before
What's the best mouse to get with macro buttons?
The Wireless Razer Naga Trinity looks dope but I don't have $125 to spend on a mouse
oh wait damn the mouse I own is like $135 (I bought it at $50)
apart from that it was jus p crappy
the server or what
everything
yeah idk why out of all servers everyone went to glorious discord server
lmao
crazy how social media can influence ppl so quickly
glorious has been shady but theyre only now getting canceled lol
Yep
same as any other brand
yeah ofc
any good cheap wifi adapter?
What speed?
My sister has been using this one for a long while and no issues. Their quality control seems hit or miss for these though. She gets the full 300mb/s of our wifi.
tp link pog
never had qc issues with them
thats not to say bad units dont make it through, as that happens with every product.
Anyone here use air compressor to clean the dust in their pc?
Yeah, I use a handheld electric one with a few different attachments. Brand doesn't matter, just needs a good battery. Mine has a 15Ah battery that takes 8 hours to charge from 0, cost $60 on sale.
I still keep a couple compressed air cans, they can be nice for certain things.
is there a way to use macros with my laptop keyboard
Im not sure if at the right location....? But I need some advice on something. I got a Synology DS1621+. I need NVME and wanted to see if any of these would work. Can someone please give me some advise please? Thank you!
- Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 NVMe M.2 2280 500GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 64-layer 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) WDS500G3X0C
- SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2 2280 500GB PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.3 V-NAND 3-bit MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V7S500B/AM
Hello everyone! 👋
might be better suited posting this in #storage-devices
is there a way to use macros with my laptop keyboard
what are good gaming headphones
pc37x
what are good wirless gaing headphones
none of them
at least for the price
if youre going wireless with a mic attached, then there are a few headphones that are fine, but idk any of em
someone here does
Its a keyboard
I have that exact board
And it’s nothing special
Soldered so you can’t mod it later without desoldering
i mean i would prefer a dell bk1421
Getting some nice headphones soon. 660HDs or something along those lines for gaming. Do I want a mixer or Dac amp? Also is a GOXLR mini good for non streaming use?
don't really need a mixer,
hd660s? For 400$ there's also a lot more options, and I'd grab an amp&dac for it
Shut out the world and lose yourself in your music--or hear what's around you. It's your choice with the first in-ear noise cancelling headphones from Bose. Quiet Comfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones are engineered to let you enjoy better sound every day, everywhere you go. Turn on noi...
second option but I think they are 300 now the 660s
also what amp&dac are decent not really a audiophile.
What's your budget? If you want to save some money get AKG K371s with a schiit fulla or zen dac.
I don't know, that's what everyone says is good for budget.
If you want IEMs, second option could be like moondrop starfield
I mean, depends, k371 is closed back, if they want hd660s for open back...
Oh wait right.
I already have my sights between these 2
What was that open back?
completely set and can't change?
K612s.
nothing too crazy like with those tubes and stuff haha
k612 pro basically 6xx but better sound stage afaik
So are you completely set on headphones?
Yeah it's between the 2 I said
sad
HD660s or the bose ones
what mic
Okay, optimally a schiit stack for around 200$, but a fulla would also work for around 110$
ok I'll look those up[
another option on headphones was a BeyerDynamic DT 1990 Pro
afaik dt 1990 is actually worse than the cheaper dt 990
Thought they're just decently good
q2u good
Agree
solid budget dynamic
Is this a good channel for audio?
Yes
is there a way to set up macros on my laptop keyboard?
q2u like the best mic for its price lol
hello peripherals gurus it is time to make my list for audio setup
Reason: Bad word usage
I believe you meant to say "schitt stack" lol
yah it didnt like me saying that lmao
whats your budget and what do you type of sound signature do you prefer
whats your budget for everythign?
What is a good microphone for under 100$
Please ping me in response so I can see
Sorry headset
With microphone
maybe pc37x
Yas
I kinda want some
I know somebody with one and there are great
Say what
hes gonna be limited to optical switches
Okay, so? There are plenty of good optical switches
You can mod optical switches too
And any non-switch mods work exactly the same
optical ecosystem is way smaller
What are some decent desktop speakers with aux in for around 50usd if there are any
but why limit yourself to optical only when you can get regular mechanical switches with almost no trade offs, price included
Slower response times and lower reliability?
imo only drawback to optical is there are less switches currently available, though you can technically modify mechanical switches to be optical if you know what you're doing
technically they do
mechanical switches need a few extra clock cycles for debouncing
while that is true
the difference is so extremely minimal that it only works as gamer company propaganda
tactile optical switches though :(
i bought the logitech brio 200 dollor webcam to stream and when i plug it in and go to g hub software it frezzes my pc i cant move my mouse and my keyboard turns off and it keeps going inactive and active and when i click on it i cant cange nun the setting does anyone know what is happening?
Of all the snake oil latency reducing things it's probably one of the least snake oily.
Reliability though is definitely a real advantage
So I'm trynna get a new gaming headset. The one I have now is the hyper x cloud alpha and I've loved it due to the fact that it had never hurt my head once and it's extremely comfortable to me, the only problem being that it doesn't block out my loud ass 3080 graphics card. So I'd some recommendations for a new gaming headset, it doesn't need a microphone so they can be gaming headphones. As long as it sounds good and is under $175
k371 would basically be an upgrade to your headphones but im not sure if youll get the isolation you want
I probably should've specified surround sound since I play a lot of shooters
As long as it blocks out an extremely loud graphics card then I'll be fine
I have been LOVING my Razer Blackshark V2 for that reason and many others. They sound amazing, I hear things I never heard in Warzone before, very good at blocking out most outside sound. I usually can’t even hear my own voice when streaming.
If you have a loud gpu, you can try undervolting it, or just changing the fan curve if you haven't already
Keep in mind virtual surround sound is inferior to stereo for pinpointing positions in fps games and such, but I would still suggest K371 with a Meizu dongle, it's not ANS, but sounds great, and closed back means you get some isolation
no more numbers
hawt
Now go full legendless
Go 39-key blanks
One of the few places RGB is acceptable
@silver pollen @ivory fable @daring zenith thank you for your suggestions, also it is undervolted, probably not the best undervolt but it is. The problem is it's a zotac lol.
that honestly looks pretty cool

how good is epomaker's sk87s? it's the same price as the C1 w/ hotswap and rgb, but theres like no professional reviews on it
specs alone the sk87s looks really good but like
i havent seen a lot on it
is there any problems with using the dell kb1421?
no
it's just a dell keyboard
shouldn't have any problems apart from it being membrane
@still lion turns out, my accuracy sucks a lot, so spent the last 10 minutes on master mode and only got 1 successful run lol
Wrong droq
what is wrong with that?
Just finished my new table top what do you guys think
It's made out of pallets and ash
Thanks man
what does that mean?
correct droq
@wraith roost is the correct droq
Bruh my test started vs test finished was like 200/70, and then I switched to master and I’m at like 700/85 🤣
lol
Bruh, i just found out that box ink switches exist
This would solve my issue with the stem wobble of the ink v2’s
Hopefully they have better qc
huh
I'll start doing master mode now
wonder how it'll go
A lot of frustration and failed tests, but honestly I like it better. Pushes to improve not just in speed
First time trying Cablemod and I’m really impressed. Used their custom cable builder. Previously I used Mechcables, made in the USA. Cablemod had less customization options, but a more pleasing UI for the spec process. Price was comparable, with Cablemod being slightly cheaper. However, the over packaging and presentation is much better with Cablemod, as mechcables doesn’t give you any sort of case or pouch for your cable. This was a surprising nice touch. For a cable out of China I was thoroughly impressed with the overall build quality. 👍 👍
mmm
What do you guys think about the msi optix g271 monitor
I have never had a 144 hz monitor so it looks amazing to me
Coming from a 720p 60 hz dell monitor
droq why do you spend so much on cables
CableMod has great products all around tbh
I have been looking for a wireless headset recently and I was looking at the Logitech g pro x lighspeed
are they any good?
I saw that the pinned message said that gaming headphones are generally bad, are there any alternatives?
The sad problem is that wireless headphones are generally bad too, but yes there are alternatives
Ok, how much worse is a wireless headset? I would use it mainly for some light gaming
It's all about sound quality
Ok
But also, if you want sound quality, there's some pretty decent to good wireless IEMs
But there are also decent wireless headphones
IEMs?
It'll be easier to think of them as earbuds
Oh
In-ear-monitors
Those always give me headaches for some reason
I have some air pods
And I can’t use them
I get headaches from the active noise canceling on certain earbuds but that might not be the cause for your issues
1080p at 27" will be pixelated but not as bad as 720p. Other than that it's a good monitor. I'd recommend the g241 or g242 instead, better pixel density.
1080 @ 27in honestly aint too bad
i got one stacked on top of 1440p 27in and for me i dont really notice it too much
It comes down to viewing distance there. A screen above another screen will be further away and pixels are less noticeable.
tru but i also had it side by side at one point and it still wasnt terrible
it was noticable tho but not too bad unless i was looking for it
newegg had a sale on a 1440p 144hz monitor for 220 which is p insane
and it was one of the better budget 1440p 144hz monitors
can someone help me find a plate for a KBDfans sun60 wkl hotswap
im bulding a keyboard
probs because they expensive and they look decent
droq cares alot more about how reddit worthy something is and not how they feel or sound
🗿
just cares about taking pics of his setup for that sweet reddit karma
leyo have you bought any kb lately
when is that supposed to ship
ggs
it's too hard to find a good ali manu smh
bias raffle tomorrow
i aint bouta spend 400$ on a keyboard and eat cup ramen for the next year
maybe ill get a job again next summer
but still i got better things before another keyboard
kb my only hobby that makes me spend money rn
i got the monitor and the iems but maybe a coiled cable and some things to help with cable management
and also just a better mic
still using the 30$ amazon mic
what monitor and iem u get
i lowkey needa build a new desk
same lol
mine is small
or maybe just somewhere i can put a pc like a drawer
but also greydeskmat is a mistake
it turns dark so fast
do you know ur dimensions of ur desktop
table top
mine desk is smaller
f
profit?
dayum
i have a bakeneko im trying to sell
u keeping the dolice?
but i wanna try to get a bias, any geon 60% when he makes em, matrix board and maybe lumos
i ended up not buying it
f
if it was a tkl i prob would of
flip potential on it may be kinda wonky
and idk how qc will be, machining on it is gonna be v hard to do
idk anything about geon besides expensive, rare, and korean
geon prices are really good since everything is p much in house
resell gg except on frog maybe
what so special about them
build quality and price is really good
and one of the few ppl who doesnt build boards around foam
geon himself is really cool too
jus typical top mount and alu kbs
but since he does things in house he can price whatever he wants
no need for manu moq or anything
he has openly revealed prices for materials etc to his server
so just his designs are good
@timber ridge you better get mcflurry coat
im be honest mcflurries are kinda ass
like actual ones
like
they arent terrible
everyone with the nice spec'd matrix are keeping theirs
mcflurry coat is one of the finishes matrix labs offers
unfortunate
are you looking for an add?
og?
noah?
yeah ik ur not talking about actual ones
Fax
noah since i kinda got tkls decided
would go for falcon but ima aim for f2/frog mini/60
the vita is cool but bit steep, dont wanna spend over 400 for it tbh
ic
Glacier is hawt holy crap
ye unfortunate but the design is cool
it stands out compare to other stuff and it has a nickel weight
Yeah it’s a foam board sadly
unfortunate
But it looks so nice
gl on bias
It’s 3mm I just checked
From geek hack
just make a keyboard so dense it doesnt need foam
Genius
Haha owlabs jelly epoch funny haha
funny thing is designers nowadays are putting foam jus to have a foam sound sig lol
nickel cool
theyll say it has foam b4 even having a prototype
I actually do get the hype behind Voice but suit was like ehhhh
And they screwed up the orders too
So like
🗿🗿🗿
oversold 3k
owlab is maker with a bigger budget
Did you hear the WK/WKL thing
yeah that too
should of seen r2
Didn’t they oversell a bunch
"oh sorry we oversold like 2k units"
isnt maker in debt, or is that just memes in his disc
nah hes in debt
lmao
yeah
he also handled the situation p well
oversold phantom units got full refund or free upgrade
and his gb times are p short for someone doing it alone
is his qc good
for a one man operation
that man's mental health cannot be good bro
especially rn
hes qcing alone
had to recoat ewhite
hes not only behind shipping dates but paying out of pocket
lowkey feel bad, if he jus ran it with a reg gb time hed lowkey be fine
damn
yea I'm noticing myself slow down but become more consistent and accurate
last night it took 9 minutes for successful master mode 30s run, 2 minutes tonight
hello, i just recently changed my keyboard switch and unfortunately one key isnt working, i checked the back of the pcb and one leg(?) or pad(??) (idont know the term to use) is broken, i tried to look on the internet and it says to bridge the switch, how would i do it?
if you broke the hotswap socket then you have solder a new one on
i dont really know what this is but it is the socket where the 2 pins of the switch are put into
the right one is broken
its the socket for the two golden pins
one is broken
i have a picture but i am not allowed to send it here
so its the thing at the top right?
can i dm u
ye
Can i use a xlr to usb cable to use the rode pod mic on my laptop
Does the microphone require 48V phantom power?
It does not require 48V phantom power so you should be able to then.
Ok and does it come with a stand or arm mout or what ever you call it
Rode recommends a audio interface though
"This microphone has an XLR connection, so you will need a standard 3-pin XLR cable, as well as an audio-interface like the RØDE AI-1 or RØDECaster Pro, which will act as the bridge to your computer for recording."
No, it does not
Please no
Xlr to usb cables are horrible in every scenario
Even a m track solo or something on a budget would be better
a m track solo?
It's a low end audio interface
xlr to usb sounds very cursed lmao
Im thinking of getting the coarse60 what do people here think
is the k100 rgb platinum worth the $380 that it is priced at?
190 on amazon too
$380 USD or what currently?
It's worth like 50$
mic stand suggestions pls
and also what kind of sound are astro a50s
like in terms of closed or open sound
stuff like that
It's open back, afaik sounds pretty crappy
i have them and i like them i wanted like the next step up lol
If you want open back, next step up might be something like K612 pro with a schiit fulla
or, if you don't care much for gaming, and just wanted great sound for music and such, 6xx good for that
what's wrong with it?
Considering this board: https://keebsforall.com/products/coarse60
its just not a great keeb, more of a decent keep, so price should've been relatively close to other decent keebs, but also non-standard bottom row with no hotswap, rgb is offset by having to use icue, volume knob is nice ig, but only cherry switch options and the board is nothing special at all, bad stabs and all.
What does that mean?
is mediocre all around
icue as a software sucks
need to take into account options like say keychron c1 hotswap at 60$
Corsair is trying to set out a product for a more 'preimium' market when the keyboard does not meet that quality, that'd be more leopold and vermillo keebs at around the 120$ mark
bit boxy looking imo
and iirc you screw straight into the acrylic bottom piece
might be better trying to find a mga sneakbox near msrp

Mayflash adapter overclock doing the funky
Wot
When I try to overclock my mayflash 4 port GameCube controller adapter, it stops being detected and usable
Response time
From 125hz to 1000hz is the polling change
And that's how tournament setups are rn
And it is enough of a change to make a difference if in playing on a setup that has it
Back again for headphone advice
What’s better? ATH-r70x vs AKG k712 pro for FPS gaming as well music listening
Will probably use a schitt stack
ATH-R70x, although bit on the expensive side
K612 pro good cheaper option
well im just missing the expensive headset, i have a problem lol. just a sucker for halo
retired my black widow 2014 keyboard. still worked fine astonishingly

anyone know if you can edit the colors of a razer keyboard for certain games? Synapse has the chroma connect that links the game youre playing with the RGB so that it reacts to your gameplay. I dont like the colors it chose and the effects and was wondering if theres a way to edit them
Anyone good with choosing a mouse pad
I need help
Also what brand should I get
I want a good mouse pad for tracking
So I guess smooth xxl
in the pins theres a list
Try using signalrgb, it has features like that
if you dont want to spend a lot of money though, my recommendations are
aqua control+
odin infinity
razer strider
all $30
depending on the size you get
artisan makes good stuff if you got a little deeper pockets
could secure an artisan without the crazy shipping from some vendors
3
Redragon anyone?
not really unless you want something really specific
I need xxl
I just want something for good tracking
Like shooter games
A soft pad I think
Because I don’t honk hard ones are good
dont need a xxl really unless you plan on just putting your keyboard on the mousepad too
this shop is out of stock rn but they have pre-orders going rn.
Hien would probably be your best bet if you want something from artisan and dont know much about mouse pads
https://lethalgaminggear.com/collections/artisan/products/artisan-fx-hien-xl
What about gsr
gsr?
Yes
dont know what that is
according to the chart thats pinned, itd probably be better to go with the aqua control+ over the gsrse
or the artisan zero
im not 100% sure where to ask but anyone got any suggestions about whats a good wheel and pedals for a reasonable price?
peak colormatching
yeah you can in the razer software
how so? I cant seem to figure it out
better than what ifk and tkc is doing
Basilisk V3 or g502?
pesonally, g502 since you can customize the weight to your liking and also its on sale rn
g502 at $50 rn vs $70 but the g502 can go lower in price at times
g502 is like $120, basilisk is $100
are you looking at wired or wireless?
wired
oh wait i found a g502 for $85
droq said to get this
at the price personally id pay a little more for a elgato facecam
🗿
as far as it works with my mouse, you go to profiles in synapse, click on chroma studio then you can create different chroma effects and assign games to them
Gmk bread is such a crap fest
Do the chroma effects work like the chroma connect? I'm trying to make it where if I get shot at my keyboard flickers red. Chroma connect does that by default but a lot of the colors that it automatically has aren't all that great imo and I want to change them
Nah It doesn't as far as a I know.
You might be able to find some other chroma connect app that you can add to make it work tho
Anyone try or have the Logitech G915 keyboard? want to know their thoughts would it be good for a FPS such as CSGO game, is it worth the money? I recently got a good deal on Corsair K70 RGB Mk2 low profile wonder if i should keep it or go for the G915
Neither are great so I'd say just stay with the k70 since you already have it
which would you recommend then?
I mean, custom keyboards is a hobby that gets pretty expensive, but on the decent keyboard side, a Leopold or Varmillo keyboard will be pretty good if you just want good quality without having to mess with it, keychron for a hotswap board, womier k87/k68 if you want a lot of rgb and want hotswap.
day 247273783585 of waiting for my bow accents
very hard for a keyboard to help you at a game unless you become a pro tbh
Who said I wasn’t semi pro? Jks lol just wanted to see what are good CSGO keyboards
There's good keyboards in general, keyboards can't really specialize beyond being good quality and having nkro
the best keyboard for you will be the keyboard that is the most comfortable for you
How would these compare to Astro a50 Check this out on @Newegg: Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm Studio Mixing and Mastering Open-Back Headphones https://www.newegg.com/black-beyerdynamic-dt-990-other/p/0TF-00D2-00003?Item=0TF-00D2-00003&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-0TF-00D2-00003-_-11182021

I keep seeing them and wanting them lol but I don’t wanna change too drastically in case I don’t like it
For gaming
Personally love my 990s… not quite sure how the compare to the astros but w.e. Be warned it has a super clear high end so like all the sparkly noises sound louder/crisp 👀
should be quite a bit better, but yea most of the beyerdynamic headphones have a good bit of treble
idk what that means
out of those beyer phones i believe the 80ohm were most preferred?
‘Treble’ - denoting a relatively high-pitched member of a family of similar instruments.
So like symbols some high pitched vocals… like any noise that’s high pitched
If you got the 250 ohms headphones you’d need something to actually drive them, 80 ohms would be way easier to run off of normal aux cables
iirc most ppl liked dt880s 600ohm
ye that too
What RGB puke case fans do you guys recommend with this Lian Li case?
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811112583?Item=N82E16811112583
Arctic p12 (a)rgb
is flex the only thing people want now
have no idea because there were some complaints about the gmmk and q1 having flex and then theres that board you got there
there was another pcb i saw a bit ago where the entire middle was cut out or something
nvm, not the pcb but the plate
but there are cuts in the pcb so that middle part flexes
the middle part is so it flexes and the outside is to be stiff
i have a half plate on both of my builds (old pic so dirty), feels nice with a thin pcb and no plate for alphas with light tactiles
if i could cheaply get another plate i'd probably get a full aluminum or maybe cf/steel plate for a stiffer feel, half alu plate feels a little too bouncy sometimes
Is the Dualsense a big upgrade to the Dualshock 4 for PC?
And before anyone says it, no i dont like the Xbox Gamepad.
@tight pulsar did u ever lube the browns
yeh
good or bad
bruh didnt you break them in for a couple months
i didn't really use them too much
Anyone have an idea as to when the next Q1 restock is?
thoughts on the logitech G305 wireless? looking for a new budget mouse
I really don't see the point of mechanical keyboards, but my friends insist that they are superior
So should I get a mech keyboard or not?
thats for you to decide
most modern membrane keyboard preformance wise are the exact same
I am a monster and like romer G's
Can anyone recommend me a keyboard like the k400 plus without a touchpad?
memecuts lol
my friend built his with halfplate and it flexes like crazy
breaking in mx switches b4 lubing>
Any thoughts on the hyper x could 2 headset
good headset
today is certainly an odd day
got a sennheiser e835, hd280 pro, 2 rode procasters, 2 focusrite 2i2s
what is that
headphone, mics, interfaces etc
hi
ayo gimme one

....
?
it's about a mouse grip, is it alright if I DM you a picture?
sure
Does anyone know a good 75% keyboard for around £70-120
Keychron K2.
Guys guys guys did u hear about the thing the new keycap set KMG Backorder it looks so fire I can’t wait
Audio technica boom arm good?
My brother spilled BBQ sauce on his 10 dollar keyboard and ruined it. He's wondering what a good, practical, reliable and comfortable keyboard he could buy for 40 bucks or less would be
$40 is rough
idk about "good, practical, reliable and comfortable", but you could go to "Five Below" and get a keyboard in that price range
i knew of one, the one im currently using, but steelseries no longer makes it
yea ive never really been into keyboards or mice at all so im not really familiar with many at all
me too
i just buy the thing i see the best review for lol
new question: Im currently using a SteelSeries Wired Rival 600 Gaming Mouse and i've had it since Jan 23, 2019. It's getting extremely worn and pretty much every rubber pad on it is about to fall off. Still works like a charm though. Do you recommend i go ahead and get a new mouse (if so which one) or should i just take the pads off, clean the entire thing, then glue the pads back on and keep using it?
the mouse itself is fine and if you like it then try and find better adhesive then what they used (had the same problem with mine). but if you want to try something else and like the weighted feel, then the g502 would be better
dell kb1421
i took a keycap off me keyboard, then it starting janking out, anytime i pressed a key, i would have to press it multiple times, and sometimes it would give a random character or highlight the text. i unplugged it and plugged it back in and it fixed it
i have no idea what just happened
.3.
i pulled on my phone charging cable and it typed that and clicked enter
on the numpad
stfu its a nice keyboard

The virtual on screen keyboard is better value
don't need to sell a liver for a leopold nor a mw65
Those 2 boards also dont suck
The biggest gripe is that my user will be using this mouse with a wrist wrest
So it has to be taller
User doesn’t care about weight it’s gonna be mostly an office mouse
I'm suddenly getting noticeable static from my Bose Companion 3 speakers
Even if I unplug all other electronics in the room and disconnect all audio inputs, the static is still there.
It only happens when I turn on the speakers using the control pod, and does not vary with volume.
It is the only device plugged in.
Someone clearly thinks too highly of themselves
To the point they need to bash other people
those people should stop using discord instead
this is a good opinion
lmao
@queen sigil Watch the language in the pics you post
You could edit it in ms paint or something to block the swears out
Reason: Bad word usage
what happened here?
gloros?
yes
figured
turns out he needs something with RGB. any suggestions?
or just any backlight
Less than 40$?
@calm cobalt could do keychron c2 with backlight for like 60$, but under 40$ would be hard
yea he doesnt see the point in spending more than 50 dollars on a keyboard and im not gonna bother trying to tell him he's wrong
40$ is just really rough
yea
I'd try and convince them to do 60$ lel
i can try
What is a good budget tkl keyboard for pretty much purely office work
Keychron C1.
Also, what's your definition of budget?
$50? $100?
Max prob around 70$ cad
Alright thanks
hm
does the static stop if you unplug it?
infill kind of hot ft oddly large 2
Oh! Good idea! Yeah. I'll just listen to music with my speakers unplugged.
What’s the best mechanical keyboard for 80-100$?
Anything from Keychron
Preferably a 60%
Anything in particular you could link me?
I have a keychron k4, great keyboard
Your other two options are the Womier K61 and the Rk61
But those suffer from excess RGB and all-around worse quality respectively
Gk61 prebuilt also option
From like epomaker or something
This look ok its like 75$
Ok if you buy that the one thing I’m gonna ask you
Do you plan on modifying, upgrading, or otherwise changing your keyboard
Can you u give me a name to look up for boards that can be modified
Keychron K12, Womier K61, some Gk61 hotswap variants, Royal Kludge Rk61
Ok
if it's all right to push the budget to $20 more, leopold
especially if you're in murica iirc mechanicalkeyboards has better shipping there?
forgor
forgor
forgor
guys which is better? ANNE PRO 2 Vs Corsair K65 Mini Vs Ducky One 2 Mini Vs Glorious GMMK Vs Razer Huntsman Mini
i would say choose between a razer hunstman mini or a corsair k65 mini
i have a hutsman mini
but i would prolly go to a best buy and maybe try them out there (my best buy has those 2 keyboards so yours might too if your in america)
Keychron is better than all of those tbh
😐
yeah that aint available where i live, these are the only options available
Where?
Ducky
Or the gloros
where like what country am i in or what store?
Country
Egypt
^
there is a sale going on so i want to get either of those
Not much you can do to it but
is the Cherry MX Blue switch good?
what switch is quiet, smooth and not scratchy? i did hear that ducky do not lube their keyboards, so isnt that bad?
