So just any cheap ones off Amazon or something
yup
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NZ55JCQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_2RHHMCSS3T65WK51KC6X these look okay?
Free delivery and returns on eligible orders. Buy Replacement Ear Buds, New Bee Replacement Ear Tips Earbuds 12 Pieces with Case Memory Foam 5mm-7mm for Jaybird, Beats, Sony, Nexus, LG (Black M) at Amazon UK.
yup
Might give them a shot then thanks
You'll have to make sure the Nozzle Diameter on the IEMs, but if they do fit, then that's great.
Is there a way to check the diameter of them? And how long would it take for the foam to expand btw? Few hours?
The foam expands like, instantly.
Before inserting IEMs with Foam Tips you pinch and roll the tip while it's on the IEM and then you put it in your ear canal.
It'll expand once it's in your ear canal.
That package seems to have support for most tips, between 5mm and 7mm
Which is very common for most IEMs
kekw
Okay cool thank you, just want to try them out before spending that amount of money
@floral lake for osu just get any lighter linear switch
oh for osu
e.g gat reds, mx reds etc
Ahah
well the secret is go to full gamer mode and use kailh speeds
I chose reds for the future
I did my research myself, just wondering about the options
its the cheapest option
Mhm, I could choose reds in many keebs
Well a bit sad that in the keeb I have my eyes on, they aren't gaterons or anything of that known names lmao
They're some chinese switches, but eh I wouldn't notice as first timer to mech keebs
Meizu
It has a bit more power than the Sonata
The sound is virtually identical though.
ok i know this sounds stupid but what is a good 65 hotswap kit whit that little space between and then the arrow keys like the drop alt
like you see that litle space
I've always like the Drop keyboards but man are they expensive
Drop keyboards are wacky
Speaking from experience?
If so, please tell me more. That way, I can remove them fully from my wishlist
@solar nebula you can prob just find a case for this PCB and get something going
https://kbdfans.com/products/boop-pcb?variant=34395953037451
@solar nebula the kbd67lite has it
Not from experience, but just what I've seen or heard, it's just not that great of a keyboard for what you pay
Got ya. I'll def give kbd a try
I mean, it's just a case of needing to do more of your own research to find your answer @ionic fractal
Mechmap can give you a list of different websites to buy things from
https://www.mechmap.tech/
But you have to look at reviews and such yourself
Thanks, will def look into it and research some more
vintage blacks
anyone recommend a good wifi extender?
https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender-EX6120/dp/B014YN7LVE/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1SX0D0I0HR695&dchild=1&keywords=wifi+extender&qid=1627595689&sprefix=wifi+ex%2Caps%2C271&sr=8-4
or
NETGEAR Wi-Fi Range Extender EX6120 - Coverage Up to 1500 Sq Ft and 25 Devices with AC1200 Dual Band Wireless Signal Booster & Repeater (Up to 1200Mbps Speed), and Compact Wall Plug Design
A new and better router is a good wifi extender.
Both of those won't really help, they just repeat the signal. So you lose speed for Range.
Just buy a beefier router and put it in a better location.
really cant do anything about it, since i got no say in it.
Then tough toast. Wifi extenders suck
Bought a ethernet which helped but he didnt like the black color, since walls white.
Reason: Bad word usage
Tell him tough toast, it's gonna be whatever color I bought and you will be happy with it.
Or just buy a white Ethernet cable.
yeah thats what im also looking for
But, I'd rather nut up and stand my ground.
Wish i could
whats ur budget
idk like 200 usd\
for the whole build or just the kit
Are massdrop x meze 99 headphones any good?
From what I remember about them, they’re clean but bassy
yo sometimes my A key doesn't want to pickup, would that be a switch or board problem or either
kbd67lite yes
is this for the whole kit alone? is so, alexa or corgi65 ig

my wallet is crying
I got a new keeb
Nice
Good keeb
Hey everyone I need to look for a docking station for my dad cause his $30 one is crapping out on him. He needs it to have atleast Cat5, two HDMI, and to be USB C. Any recommendations would be great
He also might want 4k with it but I don't remember
Docking station for what?
Do you want usb-c input or output
Hdmi input or output
Docking Stations are usually pretty rare. If his Laptop has a Thunderbolt port he can get a Thunderbolt "dock" that just plugs into a Thunderbolt Port.
hmm i want to go for frog but also my wallet cry
i think im probably going to hope and get scarlet extras
Btw, what are some decent IEMs under 100
Moondrop arias are nice
so like was the appeal about frogs
$300 for a beautiful board with a brass weight, alu AND fr4 plate, multiple layout options, and good color options
fr4 plate yikes
i disagree but thts my op
fr4 cool but if youre gettin alu stock then i see no reason to get fr4
and geon is also very epic 😎
So I’ve been using IK Multimedia’s AXE IO for a couple months now and I have to say it’s one of the nicest audio interfaces I’ve ever used
Well at it’s price point
The headphone amp in it sounds amazing, 2 input channels for instruments and mics. MIDI IN/Out ports and built in phantom power
And for $350 it’s a complete steal
frog dropping tomorrow at like 6 pst or something lol
im conflicted between wireless and non wireless because wireless would be useful, but idk if id be sacrificing a lot of sound quality for it
Do you have a time by which you wanna purchase your IEMs
Cuz I’ve also been considering Sparks
not really? i mean rn im just using standard apple wired buds and are kinda inconvenient to take out in class but i can live with it.
yeah they look interesting
its just that arias are cheaper and have a more normal shape to them
Here tell you what
I’ll see if I can grab them to compare to Apple earbuds & (not my) airpod pros
i wonder how they compare to the newer budget wireless earbuds
theres a bunch of sub 100 options now
Looking for good sound quality headset without having to use an interface. I have usb-c on my motherboard, aswell as usb and audio jacks. Just looking for good sound quality that’s affordable. Under 100-150. I have a dedicated mic.
i hate standard apple earbuds, they do not fit me well at all
prob pc37x or pc38x if headset
k371 or k361 if you dont want the extra bass
They’re p nice, probably gonna change the ear cups though
Good to hear that they’re nice at least
I like how the jump
kek
Still waiting on meizu dongle currently using an apple one
Very poggers sound for like $80
Get a Meizu Dongle and a pair of KSC75. It'll be the best sound quality if you don't care about Isolation. If you need Isolation, then get a pair of AKG K361
If only they somehow fit some subs into those little packages of perfect tuning
Sadly audio is not magic
Eh, you don't really need sub-bass when you want to soundwhore in games.
i preferred the portas over ksc75, i still have to fix the clip tho
I'm gonna buy a pair of Modded KSC75 and trick them out.
Also you know you can just put <> around a link to not have the embed pop up right
¯_(ツ)_/¯
My modded KSC75 setup will be Partsexpress Headband, Yaxi Pads (Probably in... Blue) and Removable MMXC Cable Mod.
I'm having a guy I know do the cable mod.
And then I'll buy the Pads and Headband later.
In terms of comfort or sound
Or something else
IMO the PortaPros sound too muffled.
Like there's something blocking part of the sound.
If it's Comfort, then just buy a Partsexpress Headband.
iirc the ksc were a little more even but i liked the sound of the portas more for certain music, comfort wise definitely porta
Buy that, and then remove the crappy drivers from it
Then insert KSC75 drivers
Same sound, and "better comfort" (I still like the ear clips personally.)
ya know what i have to wait for a download anyway i go find ksc
i am sad yaxi pads fading or its just a heck of a lot of dust
did you use em with stock pads?
Yaxi and Stock

Lol yeah packaging has an anime girl on it
just now they introduced some 3d girl that seems to be their mascot
vtuber-ey to be more specific
idk but this makes me wanna buy one lol
Quick question, does anyone know if I can hook up an Xbox and soundbar to a single hdmi port (using a hdmi splitter) to my monitor?
how do u use these portable dac/amp (zishan u1), do u just plug it in the phone with a working usb cable?
thinking aobut it, it kinda is

uhh i would not think so? im not exactly sure how it would work but you could probably take audio out from the xbox to the soundbar
@neon owl
if your soundbar has optical audio it should come with required cable
think of it as a big dongle
Just got a HyperX Cloud II. These are probably the best headphones I've ever owned
Hi guys! Can u help me choose what is better monitor interms of good saturated colors and good balance color? I have 4 picks for this monitor
Asus VP249QGR
Asus tuf VG249Q1R
AOC 24G2E
ViewSonic XG2405
Tia!
IPS is the best panel type for color
All of them is IPS
rtings good at testing on color accuracy
I'm sorry...
??
The HyperX Cloud 2's suck.
cloud ii is fine
Actually, ALL gaming headsets suck.
pc37x/pc38x are fine
The 4 reasons why Gaming Headsets (Yes, ALL gaming headsets) suck
- Poor Stereo Imaging which leads to inaccurate positional audio in games
- Poor Soundstaging, additional inaccuracy in positional audio
- Bad driver tuning which tends to put emphasis on Bass which isn't good for gaming except for immersion.
- USB Dongles that implement crappy 7.1 Surround that does not help with audio accuracy in games.
pc37x/pc38x
I like it
And they are 20 bucks
I'll still disagree with that
And you'll still be factually wrong
Audio is a question of preference and opinion
I tested it the 7.1 in Siege and it seemed pretty good and the audio in that game sucks ass
That's a placebo effect.
Trust me, I hear significantly better with standard headphones without ANY post-processing.
Actually.
You can slightly improve the Cloud 2's with an Apple Dongle.
It's only a slight improvement though.
it's just any dac/amp could help
But, 9 USD for an improvement that you can then use later for better headphones ain't a bad deal.
Yeah, but the Apple Dongle would retain mic functionality easily.
At least you're not in the mindset of people that think people only buy headphones to listen to music
Since the Cloud 2's use a 4 Pole Jack.
I mean, Headphones that are good for music, are even BETTER for Gaming if you get the right kind.
Gaming Headsets in general aren't tuned for Gaming
There's also some games have better music than others
At best, they are tuned to sound like Beats.
Yeah idrc about how well it can play music
Because that's the "popular" sound.
If you want pure-soundwhoreing, buy the AudioTechnica ATX-AD700X
These are the best headphones for pure, raw, unadulterated sound accuracy in games.
They sound like crap for music
I think I used to have something like that but it was only $50 and it stopped working out of 1 ear
But, they are absolutely crazy good for soundwhoring.
I mean, you could also just grab an ad900x for similar price on amazon
but closed back
wait
I'm not much of an audiophile at all so I don't care too much
AD900X are Openback
nvm was reading about a900x for some reason
But, you do care about gaming sound...
So...
You technically are an audiophile, but in a different way.
audiophile is just liking audio, doesn't matter that much what audio you like
The AD700X (or even AD500X) would be a drastic upgrade if you are literally only using the headphones to play video games.
Probably not ad500
AD500X is the same driver for the most part, and still open back, same design just slightly lower quality.
Well I mainly care about:
How comfortable they are
Durability
yes, game sound
Closed back
I like VSS
I've heard so many good things about the HyperX Cloud II and it checked those boxes and it fit my budget so I went for it
Reason: Bad word usage
Wtf?
sub-bass rolloff weird from what I can tell about ad500
But I mean I'm not crazy about how good it sounds
but do you want it to be accurate?
Because, if you want it to be accurate sound (Aka, coming from the right direction) then the Cloud 2's, especially with Virtual Surround are NOT the play.
Virtual Surround Sound really screws with positional audio.
What a lot of people look to find in a headphone is adherence to one of the frequency curves, for the most accurate sound you can have
It's purely a marketing gimmick that actually makes positional audio worse.
It sounds a lot better from my experience
I've been doing audio stuff for around 3 years. I've done tests in Siege with both on and off, and I can 1000% definitively say that Virtual Surround Sound screws with Siege audio and makes it orders of magnitude more difficult to pinpoint targets.
tho siege is not a good test tbh
It's arguably the best test.
But yeah like Mr1111 said, audio is a question of preference and opinion
BECAUSE the audio is screwed up
And Virtual Surround sound is objectively bad. It isn't an opinion or preference. It's just straight bad.
because the audio is screwed up, where hearing something from the left means someone coming from the right, is not nice
:(
It does that on my PS4 with any game, but not on my PC for some reason
Even with the VSS turned off
It's just siege things
That's just PS4 audio being shite
Idk I just like the way VSS sounds in general
Well, the majority opinion is that it makes actually figuring out where sounds are harder
did ness secure a frog
That is a good question
gg
i was never crazy bout hype stuff
i did get carried away with switches a bit but didnt have to do with hype
but you think i won't need a battery powered dac/amp for iems no? i don't think they're that demanding to power anyways
gotchu
but lets say you want some extra oomph or some
a lot of the powered dongles offer a bass boost
and they are good enough to power headphones
portable use might be a bit iffy tho
research/learn about older and smaller stuff ie otd, gaf, kwk, early kustoms, kbdmania, vintage stuff, etc
no i decided i didn't want to make myself poor
going to try for scarlet extras
do you think a built with switches and stabs switch couture alice is worth it for 200? https://switchcouture.com/products/switch-couture-acrylic-alice-style-chassis-1
Now in its 4th iteration, the ever popular acrylic alice style case has been by far one of the most popular chassis for enthusiasts the world over. As an ergo style board, its unique in how fast users acclimate to the layout and has one of the most striking visual impacts a keyboard can make. Improvements to the cas
theres one on mechmarket that looks appealing
does anyone know if razer are planning to make a white version of the blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed?
Probably not.
rip
was gonna say you can get a mattrix me instead
@timber ridge what do you think
nice kit if you wanna try out alice
but in that price range, youre not too far off some really nice budget kits
what budget kits are you thinking of? MGA standard or something?
yeah true. I definitely still plan to grab a scarlet or a matrix me, but was looking at other boards that i might consider as well.
scarlet r2 prob will be a bit more
unless maker is gonna keep it low to keep it competitive with me and frog
i kinda want to grab r1 extras because i dont have a nice custom to use rn
and dont want to wait till like christmas
milan gonna b in stock in like a month or 2
november
so quite a bit away
my other idea was just get like a q1 then maybe sell it once i get something like milan or scarlet r2 etc.
i like the idea of collecting keyboards, my wallet and my parents dont
i think i could justify one standard board and one ergo board
you might end up liking the q1 a lot and keeping it lol
or that
hmm i could just buy arias and sparks then try them out and return which ever i dont want
Arias and Sparks are 2 totally different things.
yeah i know
Benefits of amazon
I'm a dumb.
i mean like test out whether the cable is annoying enough/sound quality being different enough to justify one over the other
I forgot a Target.
i actually looked at both online multiple times
Here's a graph of both with the IEF neutral target.
And, the Sparks ironically are closer to IEF neutral than Aria.
Sparks are also like 90% harman accurate
Actually, the Sparks are kinda close to Harman Neutral.
yeah i kinda get what you mean with this sound graph cause i know how eq works but they look similar enough to where i personally dont think the eq is going to sound much different
for me its like the cable and fit and stuff
Does anyone have this issue with the blue yeti mic where when plugging in headphones to the audio jack, the left side is noticeably louder than the right? Not when recording but when listening to audio. I reinstalled audio drivers. check properties and balanced them and it is still louder.
The only "fix" I've found is lowering the left side to 70% so it doesnt sound like bad mono audio
I saw a small thread on reddit from over a year ago but no one solved the issue
u could try an anne pro 2 w gaterons, a gk61, corsair cheap mechanical kb, or maybe save up and get a decently priced mechanical kb at around 80-100usd. the price difference is like 30 bucks so...
rk61 is alr decent
or womier k61/k66/k87
and prob that gamakay tk68
heck even a redragon keeb
also that ajazz k620t/k680t/k870t
the newer versions of royal kludge boards iirc is alr hotswap so that's nice
Can you get a custom keyboard that has rgb?
Reason: Bad word usage
Oh crap
Care to link?
Like a website where you can design your own keyboard and theres an rgb option
@ me if you do, thanks
@strange kernel most kits either come with or without RGB, no choice
Then is there like a website or company that has a list of these keyboards?
ThocStock has in stock keyboards list but not all have RGB
Is also missing the super common boards
Wdym
It only talks about more enthusiast boards
Ah, which have a higher price tag i presume?
If you need an RGB boards I can help
Yes
Aight
I was looking for a 65% white RGB keyboard that’s wireless, i was eyeing the razer blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed to give you an idea of aesthetic, but they havent released a white version of it, so i thought i’ll turn to the custom market
Budget is 200 and less
USD
The huntsman mini is white and 60% but its not wireless ffs lol
This is what I want you to do
Buy either a Womier K66 or a Royal Kludge Rk68 and swap the switches stabs etc
Lube and film only if you want
Oop neither are wireless
Reason: Bad word usage
Get a Keychron K6 and do the same thing
Ffs
Or if you can solder and desolder
If im switching switches and stuff, couldnt i get the blackvideo 65 and mod it
Just get the razer and upgrade later
Only if you can solder/desolder
Ah i see
Well i dont need the keyboard rn, i’ll wait and see if anything in the prebuilt business pops up, if not, i’ll take another look at the custom choices
Thanks for your advice though
If you can go for an 80% board, then the Iqunix L80 is White and Red, has an RGB option, is Wireless, 2.4ghz and Bluetooth.
And, tbh, Wireless in the Custom market is basically dead.
Nobody makes PCBs for Wireless.
i'll look at it, thanks
I own the board right now in a non RGB format, so if you have questions, feel free to ask.
if u want wireless just get a hhkb ez
ok im back
i found out that razer sell a mercury keycap set that i can swap with the blackwidow v3 65 default keycaps, which is great
i wanted to know if there's a way to paint the actual board itself white without damaging anything or nullifying any of the rgb
Probably not.
I'd just get a Iqunix L80 and go about your life
It fits everything except your requirement for a 60/65 board.
i would, except for a few things
the keycaps aren't translucent so the RGB doesn't shine through the font, the L80 is white AND red, and i mainly just want white, i like the overall look of the razer more etc etc
splitting hairs ik, but it's my money i guess lol
RK61s could come in white
shinethrough keycaps
hotswap
there could be a wireless ver. of it iirc
ooh ill take a look then
Reason: Bad word usage
tysm
OH MY GOD
holy redacted that's exactly what i was looking for
i'm assuming since it's a custom keyboard, the actual switch quality and whatnot is far better than razer?
Switch quality is never really the issue. It's Board quality that is the problem with Razer.
so would the rk61 pro have a better quality board?
it has an aluminum frame
bear with me lol, i don't know anything much about keyboards
freebird60 gb up rn but you gotta wait a bit for it
alu frame =/= good since some just has a stupid metal ping that's very much not desirable. though in rk61 pro's case, i have no info. i jsut know it exists but you can try to see some reviews on it
Rk61 Pro is a pretty damn good board
lost mine lol
no i cant, mine disapeared i thought but apparently i put them in a pocket in my backpack which i didnt check all summer
Rip
Hmm i wonder if the blue keychron q1 would look good with poly caps whale
I could have skipped the hefty pricetag of the Iqunix L80 and got White
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Reeeee
The quality though
I'm honestly not sure the difference in quality.
Fair enough.
The L80 is very hefty and feels good overall.
And it's so thicc it's impossible to have deck flex.
Just bookmarked the KTT Kang White page so I can buy a set of them when I get paid next.
These reds are nice, but... I think the Kang Whites will be nicer due to them being a little heavier.
They seem a bit close to say, a Gateron Black.
I also need to get some non-screw in replacement Stabs...
Because costar stabs kinda blow chunks.
modding a cherry would do you nice
cherry housing op
springswap & film
He’s been using it long enough that lube probbaly worth as well
so, looks like the HP Reverb G2 HMD is on sale for $450. cheapest it's been in atleast 4 months
I honestly couldn't be arsed to lube. It just takes too much effort and time.
Btw how are the oneplus buds z/pro earphone wise as i have a 50€ OnePlus voucher
Garbage
Id buy one of the Wireless Chargers with the voucher over a crappy pair of in ears.
Fair enough
Cuz i owned the buds wireless 2 and they were good but broke and got a refund
Sent me out the buds z instead they were crap
Need to see if i can get money back from them
If you want good TWS buds, Moondrop Sparks or Galaxy Buds+ or Pro are great
Okay thanks jw
Can someone tell me if the Everest max is a good keyboard?
its really overpriced
but if you really want the gimmick of the modularity then go for it
Someone is selling one for $150. If it's new it would be a good buy for sure then right?
Otherwise I would never spend that much on a keyboard
But since it's a really good sale
I'm thinking about it
I mean if it was 150$ with all the accessories then maybe
Yeah
I believe it is
I just meant in terms of switches, quality, etc.
I believe it's cherry mx 3 pins so should be good right?
Cool
Everything else look good to you on it?
I think it looks good to me
I'll probably contact the dude and make sure it's new with the extra mods
if ur just looking for a hotswap keyboard i wouldnt get it
but if you liek the modularity gimmick getg it
any of u got any charger/powerbanks recommendations that can charge high powered/multiple devices at the same time ? 👀
laptops, tablets, phones,
multiple ports, PD, QC, PowerIQ and all that
finally got some ghv4 in
how does it compare
I'm just looking for a good quality tkl keyboard, not even hotswap. That's just an added bonus
if you don't want hotswap, leopold/varmilo is good
Leopold or Varmilo will be better for that.
I think soon I'm gonna buy some of the Lexip ceramic skate dots.
What price should I be expecting to pay for a decent mechanical keyboard with back lighting (solid or rgb) of the keys?
Depends on what your “decent” is
RGB isnt really something that's confined to a certain price range
with how popular it is you can basically find it on all keyboards in every price range
Dencent like entry or mid level not junk.
Basically bellow what price piont is it that the keyboards are flimsy and prone to issues.
Just use a tribosys 3204 or krytox 204 only on the stem and bag lube the new springs with something like an oil superlube or something
Could take a podcast or music while lubing them up
Idk how to work with costar stabs though
pseronally, id swap in heavier springs and bag lube too
Gonna yeet of the dogwater stock springs off
I just saw some swagkeys springs selling here for $8
But anyways imma just prio iem first ig i feel the need of good music qual again
i got some of the swagkeys springs, should be throwing them in some hg blacks later
you gonna cop Auth or BBW mats?
nah
im tempted
they are coming
prob gotta need some $10 iem now ig
zoom's volume is trash
i'll just pick an aria as an upgrade perhaps
finally got all my switches and stuff ready to give to friend to lube now just waiting on another set of springs
Ophi
Just get moondrop quarks
They are 13 bucks.
Let me get the graph.
They are a little weird in that 3k range, but... other than that they seem solid.
I'm copping a pair even though I already own Arias.
yeah i was still looking on other cheaper iems rn since i just got pretty biased onto getting arias when i got interested in getting iem
oooo they're giving away some quarks
Is this what they call u-shaped graph, no?
i guess bl03 is the way to go coz that one i can get with a mic
school year just started
Just buy a cheap-o Zalman Clip on mic.
Zalman Zm-Mic1 High Sensitivity Headphone Microphone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00029MTMQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_YVJPSF2HTMEDEERWVZR7
Aite imma look at that
question ,my headphones broke and i find that a good oprutonity to upgrade but i dont know what for, could you recommend me some options
What’s your budget
Do you want open or close back
What was your old pair of headphones and what did you like/dislike about them
@placid dune ye, bose is really good
I have nc 700s as of now and theyre freat
Great
my budget is 200-250 and i want a close pair
no
And is that 200 USD or
yes
Ok
I would get
AKG K361 and a Zen DAC
Or
AKG K371 and a Schiit Fulla
Or
Beyerdynamic DT770 and a Schiit Fulla
Or
Any of the above headphones with a meizu dongle
Meizu choice will save at least $60ish
ill check them out and keep you updated , thanks
@rigid valve I love all of those choices
blon03 are a fun pair of iems
and no reason to get dt770s since k361/71 exist
Ehh there are slightly different sound profiles between the 2
Yeah, but DT770 suck.
k361 makes almost everything obsolete in the price range besides cal
True true
DT770s don’t really suck there just can be better options for some people
Unless you like Death by Treble, the DT770s are kinda sucky.
Hello. I need help finding the correct product for my needs and I'm not tech savvy. I have an HP PC for my personal use and a Lenovo T-14 laptop that I have to use for my new job. I'm going to have 2 monitors. One with a VGA cord and one with a display cord. I need to be able to use both monitors with both computers so I need something to be able to go back and forth between the 2 computers. What do I need to buy? Thank you!
prob a kvm switch
I believe that's what I need but I don't know what KVM switch will meet my needs.
Probably none. Since VGA is like, dead except for the Server market.
if anyone knows of a gud working magnetic charging cable package that comes with all 3 tips (microUSB, USB-C, Lightning),
and compatible with both fast charging (like up to 3A ?),
- data transfer (optional),
please share 🙃
I saw some that claim to offer data transfer, no idea if tru tho
thanks I did see some Volta recommendations
doesn't look too good on Amazon unfortunately,
I wonder if knock offs

Does anyone have any mouse recommendations
What’s your budget, grip type, and hand size
My budget is under 100 palm grip type and small hand
Uh
Try the cooler master MM711 maybe it might be a little big
You could also palm a viper mini if your comfortable palming ambi
There are orders
Others
Tbh I will go with anything at this point
i just want keychron q1 to release already so i can spend my money
also i remembered why i stopped using my airpods, they sound horrible and mine might be scuffed and cant get any voluime at all on em
and they dont feel comfortable in your ears
ahh amazon 3 day delivery... though now that i know i wont be using my airpods i might return and get sparks
review units is coming
you lied 😦
what
well, they alr have some "sneak peek" badges that has the logos of the one that'll review them
review units might alr been out, the actual reviews though
it's on their server on who's gonna review the
the heck is this lineup
is that the new york times
bruh
hamaji and 3ildcat are the only keeb youtubers I recognize on this list
why are they sending them to news outlets
they seem to be tryiing to level with gmmk pro popularity
smh enter and backspace works together
like verge, c|net, the hammer logo one i think, ZDnet, pretty much mostly news/online blog sites
they're known to also love mac users, maybe that
no 7u spacebar support
ye
i mean its a mainstream 75% so what can you ask for
well, there's no soldered pcb and they alr needed to ramp up the price coz of the mcm shortage, pretty sad that there's little to no suppor
no taeha buikld stream
it's meant more as an alu prebuilt coz mny of thier simps can't suck up the modding proces
Just a really weird choice
wai
at least they got ltt who says cherry mx browns are the best tactile switch
kek
Is tomshardware even there
it's the man reason why their prebuilts hs prelubed switches and stabs
if they wanted it to sound good they should have sent it to koen
the hammer maybe?
alot of simps asks about bluetooth capability and looks more than the acoustics and mounting implementation
they alwys ask on their priv fb group about design decision and stuf
keychron q1 is going to be like 180 with knob and weight sadge
Is gonna be more
doable if it sounds good
20 for knob and 40 for weight
bruh
So total 210
200*
Price increase by 10 after first drop
At least that’s what I heard
if i buy brass weighted melody96, its cost will depend on the current us-to-php valu

nop
stacked tkl though
looks nice, but the black plate feels eh on the clear case
smh this laptop keyboard seems close to deat
it doesn't respond well now
hipyo lowkey garb
i think taeha, andy and merlin is getting one
that all that matters
simon would be cool too
jymv seems like an actual reviewer
his attention to detail and quality is nice
glarses is more of a meme channel but idk if he would actually review boards like hamjee do
shoobs is kinda leaning more on reviewing switches than reviewing boards
so if i get ssp instead, it'll be more boring, but would have nicer dynamics once i get a dong for it
i am capped at $40
so uh, yeah
coz if i'm not i'll invest for aria + jm10 combo
that dongle madness in fb seems useful
What budget wireless headset should I buy
These are great
Does anyone know a good xlr mic I have a budget of 250
I use this for DJ-ing, love it and its really clear https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT2020-Cardioid-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B0006H92QK/ref=sr_1_3?tag=eurgam-df-us-20&ascsubtag=articles-digitalfoundry-best-gaming-mic-xlr-usb-microphones-for-streaming
I also heard good things about this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093JQ7H34?tag=eurgam-df-us-20&ascsubtag=articles-digitalfoundry-best-gaming-mic-xlr-usb-microphones-for-streaming
Haven't tried it yet though
My buddy has this one and he loves it https://www.akg.com/Microphones/Condenser Microphones/P220.html
The P220 is a large-diaphragm true condenser microphone offering a warm and clear sound for lead vocals, acoustic guitar and brass instruments.
Keep in mind, we use these for DJ-ing and USB mics for gaming/streaming so I can't tell you how XLRs that I've used are for streaming or gaming
Why the hell would you use an AT2020 for DJ-ing?!? It's gonna pick up feedback from the speakers
You want a Dynamic Mic for Streaming and DJ-ing. So you don't pick up anywhere near as much background noise.
Condenser Mics without any room treatment suck.
Home studio @sly warren . Not live
🤦♂️
You could have SPECIFIED
For an XLR setup, I'd get an M-Audio M-Track Solo/Duo and a Samson Q2U mic.
You could have also just ask
I finally “tried” airpods max and it was interesting. Comfort for me was actually decent, the anc was rather good imo and didn’t feel like my voice sounded as weird as other anc headphones make it when I speak. Audio quality i cant say much because stupid thing kept giving me errors when i try to play song xD
I'm glad they're comfortable for you, @west hornet . Sucks that they gave you an error though. That's weird
Ye ipad was bugging out, maybe next time ill try to connect them to my phone
I need to pick up another set as well.
at 550, having issues doing the one thing they are supposed to do is unacceptable lmao
considering you are buying airpods max for the apple ecosystem and literally for every other reason, e.g. comfort and ease of use, than the sound quality itself
Did you just say 550
As in
Five hundred and fifty United States of America currency
or was it 650?
._.
i remember them being over 500
anyway
i can get significantly better sound quality for that much
Yeah
so they better do everything else flawlessly
like pairing, and battery life, and comfort
Jesus Christ 550
It’s just
i dont know what your problem is
Apple pricing go brrrrrrr
well duh
you pay that much because they work perfectly with apple stuff always and you never have to worry about anything ever again
thats basically apples thing
it all just works because apple has total control
considering that for some reason it did not
is a sheer embarrassment
especially when my 100 dollar HD4.50 have always worked for me, across multiple devices, and even can pair with 2 devices at the same time
and they most likely sound better too :P
Kek
Discord moment
Anyway. Sennheiser makes 4 good products.
HD560S
HD600/HD650/HD6XX
HD800/H800S
HE-1
That's it.
that's an opinion i like to agree tbh
Nah. Its trash.
I own them. Hot garbage compared to KSC75
it doesnt have a design that anyone likes
niche imo
i feel like i would go to game and lose them under my bag of chips for 20 minutes
and lose my mind
the specific issue i had i have no idea the issues, the ipad just refused to play anything and sometimes didn't connect but then again it had about 12 other things paired to it in the store xD also i don't like any wireless headphones that don't have good implementation of at least 3.5mm wired connection
They aren't niche. They are the best cheap headphones you can buy. 25 dollars and they are tuned like they are 80 dollars.
With amazing soundstage to boot
niche as in the form factor
not many people would enjoy the design imo
also again that was my opinion lel
i am supposed to get my yubikey today but there is construction outside my door, it may never come 😦
The form factor isn't even niche. You can replace the earclips with a 4 dollar headband.
It isn't an official Koss headband or anything. But it's a super common and easy mod.
KSC75X + Partsexpress Headband is basically the best cheap gaming headset.
no mic thing kinda is a deal breaker for many people tho
KSC75X has a mic.
Ya dingus
And it's on Amazon now that they have started carrying Drop products
And the earclips are also super comfortable.
I forget I am wearing my KSC75s a lot.
i would rather get something that doesnt look and feel like an xbox 360 headset
But it sounds orders of magnitude better than it's price.
Like, it kicks the crap out of a LOT of sub-120 dollar Headphones
but this is also a representation of what you prefer in your sound, and wouldn't necessarily work for everyone
No, it's not my preference.
Everyone can enjoy KSC75 unless you are some super freakish person who has to have all the sub-bass in the world.
It's so well tuned that unless you really love sub-bass. You will really enjoy KSC75
Regardless of your overall preference.
i wouldn't say it's for everyone, but if you are on a really tight budget it works nicely
^
I know people who have Anandas and other fairly high dollar Headphones that still use KSC75 on a daily basis.
sure i use some cheaper headphones too, but it really depends what i am doing in the day. if i am just home listening to music id rather something else but if i am going out somewhere i do often pick up some of my koss
speaking of headphones im really pissed, all of my outputs are having crackling issues rn
i assume you mean for some specific reason, like gaming, or just in general?
They use them in general.
Because they are comfy, easy to drive, and sound good.
Hell, they even scale a little with better amps and DACs.
the only thing that bothers me with them is they sound a little flat in dynamics to me
youre telling me that people will be sitting down and just choose these over an expensive pair of planars?
i do not believe you one bit
unless they are going for a walk, or cleaning around the house
im sure having something light and small would be good for that
but if youre trying to tell me its because of sound
you are full of it
i will buy a pair and use them for a few days
i can believe, there are some enthusiasts that just have a lot of gear and enjoy switching often hearing the differences
not on a daily basis though
¯_(ツ)_/¯
and i cannot listen to my dt 990 pros anymore
they sound like crap now
literally sold them
awww
my more expensive beyers are just that much better
i would've snuck into your house and stole

i do once in a while.... or sometimes ill wear multiple headphones at once xD
It's not though.
They are tuned that well. And also the only decent Beyer is DT880
Everything else is trash. Except maybe the Tygr's
there are exceptions, there are some people i know that have tried some other headphones but preferred 990 pros for music pro can't say much when i haven't tried myself tho
it can sometimes peak a bit in the treble with some songs
but its so worth it, the sub-bass and midbass are sooooooo clean and airy
and you just adjust the volume down a few notches for certain songs
switched from windows to linux, so far can't hear crackle will come back later
most of it is that treble spike, beyers house sound, that some people like you dont like, and thats fine. it does make them hard to suggest as a starter headphone
but if you dig that sort of sound signature, like me
they are fantastic
i love this song but so long xD
also yes, i do this too for work, I have my mini work headset over my big headphones lol
But unless you really like death by Treble, you dont want Beyers. And, I'd say the Grado X series is a better Beyer sound than Beyer.
i forgot why but for whatever reason i had 3 pairs of headphones on when i was doing a editing/recording session
hurt my head
its really not that bad though...
It's that bad.
just get better amplification equipment
also the amiron is toned down a bit, its not as treble heavy as the dt1990 or 1770
I've tried DT770, DT880, and T1's. And the only one that was bearable due to tuning was 880
Everything else was shrill and treble heavy.
you gotta spend more time with them tbh
unless you just arent a fan of that sound sig
then thats just how it is
Lmao they are really not that treble heavy as you make them out to be
yeah fr
You need to spend some time with them and a good DAC
imo, the emphasis in treble makes them sound really good for listening to live recordings
at least thats my experience
Also just monitoring when you are just recording
sounds like u really there O_O
brand < model - funny this is mostly true but in the world of music it can differ, like with pianos i know, yamaha always tend to have a darker tone and keys are heavier than something like a steinway. and kawai pianos always have more upper range presence almost like a "twinkle" then there is more mellow bosendorfer
The stage isn't there though. My KSC75s have more stage than the Beyers I have tested.
im boutta buy KSC75
tbh i do need something light and small
for moving around
does drop have the non x?
don't think so
No, but Amazon has the X
🧠
Why does this server not have a Big Brain emote?
It has brainlet, but not big brain.

lol i forgot i was listening to this, and am 9 minutes into it
is good
but i was also lost trying to figure out where the music was coming from
How are the shure SE846s?
If you want a good cheap IEM here's a few options
Tanchjim Tanya- 23 dollar bullet type IEMs has a mic
Moondrop Quark- 13 dollars similar sound to Tanya.
Moondrop Aria- 80 bucks, sounds excellent, fitment is nice.
Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk- 350-ish bucks. Basically IEM endgame unless you are buying Custom IEM.
Well, I say cheap
The B2D is kinda expensive
But it's basically IEM endgame.
i enjoy my arias
I got foam tips for mine and finally really enjoy them.
Comply 500 Isolation is 👌 for Aria
i just want to wait on foam tips for a bit, i want to make sure whatever i get will fit because a lot don't fit me well
Im looking high end really not at many cheap stuff since these mostly will be used during gigs
I’ll looking into the moon drop blessings
Oh, I'd look at ER4XR if you need a musicians Isolation IEM
They sound great, and have hella isolation. You could probably use them as Hearing Protection at a gun range.
They isolate like, 30dba
NP
Now I just got to find them in my music shop
is there still no alternative to b2d
Looking for IEM with mic, budget 100-150USD flexible
Would spring for Airpod pros but Apple pricing go brrrt
Moondrop Sparks
Well, that isn't connected wireless
That's tws
They make connected wireless adapters for Aria and other IEMs with connectors.
Wait sparks have mic?
Reason: Bad word usage
honestly if you have an iphone its lowkey a must
lowest ive seen them were at like 180
Oh
but theyve been sitting at 199 on a few sites
guys if i were to get a microphone which is all-around good but not expensive, would i go with a boom mic or mic
I'd get the Samson Q2U if you want a good all-rounder.
which one is it
im looking up at amazon
The Samson Q2U...
this?
Yes...
That is a boom mic you dinguz
No...
There isn't such a thing as a "boom mic" there's 2 primary styles of Mic.
Dynamic and Condenser.
Just about every mic can be stuck on a boom arm.
Dynamic mics are what the large majority of people want to buy unless their room has a lot of sound treatment to improve the amount of background noise a Condenser will pick up.
Since a Condenser will pick up a lot more noise than a Dynamic.
But Condensers do sound a bit cleaner if in a well treated room.
deathadder essential vs corsair harpoon pro
Neither? Buy a mouse that fits your hand properly.
Deathadder
Boom you mean shotgun?
we should have a pinned msg about not buying corsair peripherals
Simple, Corsair peripheral = Overpriced
^
Has anyone had monitor problems (Don't work) using TESmart 2 port KVM switch after power outage?
Are your monitor(s) on a surge protector?
yes
The monitors have power. It's the KVM switch that seems to be the problem. I was able bypass the KVM switch and the monitors are working'
Could someone recommend a pair of stands for my speakers? Google is bringing up really expensive studio/concert ones but I just want to elevate my speakers a bit without it looking too terrible.
I have a pair of Vonyx SL6 PA speakers.
You can see my current dilemma here: #build-pics message
The rightmost LCD (which is off as I have yet to find a stand for it and mount it) is blocking my right speaker. I don't know how to get around this besides raising the speaker above it (?)
Beautiful keebs, @wraith roost
Thanks!
Is the keeb always on a blueish purple? Or just the timing of the pic?
dont think so
but it automatically somehow got updated on my shop app
Just the timing of the pic but I can place it on bluish purple if I want
wby
i havent gotten anything
Damn wav is huge
Wait, u can use phone's mic even when you plug earphones n it that has no mic??
Yes
You can
true
razer viper or pulsefire haste
Neither, unless one of them fits your hand size properly.
What a good wired mouse that has a number pad? With a large hand and claw/tip grip?
And a decent 100% keyboard
how much money you willing to spend on a keyboard
~$100
Leopold FC980M or leopold FC900R
a bit over 100 but the quality is worth it imo
