$120? Where?
That's what vintage is running atm
Amazon, I’ll send you the link
Fun fact: in Malaysia audiophile discord they shill zen dac
That’s the only rec
lmao
Wow ok
So I could get the k371s for $120 and a Zen DAC for $130 and just scrape by huh
I want a dac anyway so that’s honestly fine
that should be good
dunno, maybe they're looking at used/renewed?
but k371 is usually 120$
right now it's just out of stock from akg afaik, just random 3rd party sellers
If you like a neutral sound, absolutely
If you want bass, I'd say find something else, just being honest
yea I believe that's what they want
Clarity and soundstage is awesome but they're light on the bass
I have a basshead pair already so yeah looking for neutral sound
Then you'll love them
yes
The other pair I have literally has a frequency graph that looks like this
__
…..\
Big bass and no highs
Could I also get like an E10K or Schiit Loki in the feature and do the EQ thing
The price literally increased since yesterday according to honey wtf
Buy AKG Pro Audio K371 Over-Ear, Closed-Back, Foldable Studio Headphones: Headphones - Amazon.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases
Unfortunate, but thanks for looking!
No
That’s a botched test
I know what you’re looking at
The first Amazon review, right?
yeah
I will send more accurate tests after I finish lunch
That looks much more accurate
It follows the Harmon target 95%
(not a statistic backed by evidence, just inference)
honestly I'm just gonna probably get these (even though they're $50 more than before) and the Zen Dac
when I have like free money in the distant future I'll invest in the Meze 99s
because these seem like a safe bet and the only way I'll get away with good sound for cheaper
I noticed you guys were talking about how the Zen DAC as just a thing that everyone recommends immediately
I realize that that is probably the most mediocre and reasonbly priced one I could get right away
Zen DAC is great
but since I'm kinda on a tight budget (I can't really spend more than $240) is there a cheaper option?
It has different firmwares available as well
gonna grab charts from crinacle
like just $30 dollars cheaper or something
Let me get you the one I'm using
k371:
you could also get K361s, which are ever so slightly brighter
meze 99
Damn that seems able to be EQed out
and I honestly do want more base
hmm
now I'm rethinking
also, real quicj
does the Zen DAC allow for mic input?
if you want more bass also consider DT770s for a cheaper option
look at the bottom bit against whatever curve it is
The GTO firmware is the one I liked the best
iirc no
thx
It does not
what curve does crinacle compare against
this name has to be a joke lmao
lmao
my little dumbo brain can't help but flip them
@daring zenith dont you have the Schiit Fulla labeled as funny joke in device manager
lmao
against IEF Neutral, k371 against meze 99
no, I never changed it, that's literally what schiit calls it
that's what it says in the manual
bruh
I want one just for that XD
LMFAO
Reason: Bad word usage
I got a booboo for bein a bad gamer
lol
lol
alright so
I'm gonna have a great time convincing my dad to actually think this is real
I would just get the Neos and the Schiit Fulla if I had $310
but I don't
so I'll go with the K371 and the Schiit fulla for $260
which honestly is the cheaper than anything I can seem to get an audiophile community on reddit to recommend
Audio people do be.........different
It's honestly a great way to get your feet wet without breaking the bank
the good way to get your feet wet without breaking the bank is ur40/porta pro with meizu tbh xD
reddit recs are p bad imo
It's like if I was trying to play a game and people that have played it before are telling me to play it on the hardest difficulty
they just do not give good advice
So I've found
always depends on who you talk to tho
They're always either people with $20 for a full setup or people with $1000 just on the stack
at least in my experience
lol
Literally no subreddit I've gone to has given me a good recommendation
on really anything at all
lmao
Well, it's Reddit
I got a pair of Jabra Elite 75t's on Prime day. I gotta say, they sound pretty dang good
ANC is great as well
If I ever want better earbuds then what I got rn then I'll probably go with some starfields
interesting question
Audio driver matters not
cool
UNLESS
AAAAAA
onboard audio
You have a sound only DAC like my iFi Zen
Then you need audio driver for mic
😉
If you have a Fulla with mic and audio it doesn't matter
heh
oh ok cool
you're just slapping the keyboard and typing random words now aren't you
Drop PC37x Headset
just a little guy
Ok why does the look of the Schiit Fulla make me laugh so hard
he just looks like a little dude
He's small and he's angry and he's gonna cost you $110
accurate
With a top hat
it is an angry lil guy
he's disappointed in me for not having such raw style as he has
So a Sophisticated -_-
I got fulla 3 but they updated it to a fulla 4 now
thoughts compared to something like the Zen DAC?
slightly worse afaik, not too sure on specifics
is the difference really noticeable?
wait do you have both of them or am I just confused
ofc
if so I don't really care about it being better or worse than any other DAC
alright cool
and you only need an AMP if you have chunky headphones that pull more ohm right?
sorta
?
better amp gives you more ommph
oh ok the k371 only needs a little so idc
for example, i could drive K371s on my phone
would it sound great? prob not
but it would work
yeah that's one of the main reasons I wanted to get these
more portable and less draining
alright thank you guys
Nice bro
I'm on the C2 and I love it
lucky yours arrived early tho lol
mine arrived like 10 days late
c1 neat
Yup yup. Unfortunately have to go to work before I can set it up. Was on my way out when I saw the box on my porch lol
Sad
but soon
Mr11 have you had any experience with the shure sm58?
nah
damn
Ghosty would likely have more experience with mics
yea ghosty has helped me out with mics in the past
didn't know if ghosty was on though
yea that is what I figured
btw, at what point does spotify downloaded audio quality become not really good enough
like when do I need to start using Tidal or whatever (Which I don't want to use if I'm honest)
Have any of you had to switch
nope
not really ever unless you're listening to it through your Australises with a $400 custom cable and a Schiit Yggdrasil
alright cool
Reason: Bad word usage
jeepers criminy I keep doing the bad boy languges
I don't give a heckin darn as long as I can hear the good music noises
lel
ayeeee
Thanks again:)))
anytime
Wow so smart
Technically i am still not on but i have used the sm58 before. I enjoyed it good tone. Decent vocal mic with a lot of flexibility. It is a dynamic and ive had to do a bit of volume leveling in some recordings because the subject kept moving closer and farther from the mic lol
So I was looking into getting the Schiit Fulla and I realized that the thing is gonna ship in like 3-4 months
And if I’m paying $110 for something I’m not waiting that long
Is there any other DAC/AMP with mic for around that price?
I’m on the verge of just buying a Modi and a seperate mic that can just plug in with USB
But the problem is
Looking at the modi
I literally don’t see a 3.5mm jack
Like where is it
Most DAC's are 6.5 mm
and come with an adapter
I use a ModMic. Sticks to your headphones and sounds pretty decent too
Oh ok
What’s mod mic?
No I’m not
Hey @daring zenith could you help me out real quick?
I don’t really have the money for a DAC rn, so I was just wondering if you could test your headphones with your fulla and with your system sound
I just want to know how much of a difference it makes
That’s actually a good request
The Fulla obviously will help but if you’re on a tight budget you could always like… not get it until later.
I looked into DACs and it honestly doesn’t really seem like I need it that much because my onboard sound is honestly pretty good besides some constant hissing which could be fixed with an apple adapter
So unless Mr1111 comes back with results that say there is a crazy difference, I’m good just getting the apple adapter.
For now at least
Oh yeah Schiit is located in Cali and Texas
Literally I’m sandwiched between them
Very poggers
Noooooooooooooooooo
so um for the sm58 does anyone know if you can drive it without a inline preamp with the m-audio-m track solo? or should I just grab a focusrite 2i2?
I cant say for the m track and i don’t recall having used a sm58 with my uphoria but i used it with my motu m2 and it worked just fine. Btw this was at ~50-60% gain and was for singing
Subject was close to mic most of the time, varied 2-6in away
alright
so
if i wanted to future proof an amp wouldn't I go with the motu m2?
so like if I wanted to upgrade to a better mic down the road I can use that amp
Should I get a separate keyboard for my laptop? 🤔
Do you want one?
Never gonna happen
Trust me, I’ve been trying literally all year
there isnt a good reason unless you have a seperate monitor
unless you travel alot
i wouldnt see a reason to get a seperate keyboard for ur laptop
sadge ok thx
motu m2 and 2i2 both good
yea, trying it rn, my onboard is decently high end (alc1200), but it's just.... lacking in everything. Most noticeable one is just that it's so god damn quiet, at full volume, it feels like if I was doing like 25% volume with the volume knob on the fulla, and after that, it feels like the details are kinda gone, and bass is kinda gone, testing it with some flacs I have laying around. And well, you can definitely do apple dongle or meizu dongle for now for the dac, and separate usb mic, and/or just grab a zen dac and separate usb mic if you have enough budget.
As a side note, I also have meizu dongle, compared to fulla, in my opinion, there is quite a bit less bass, bit less detail, but soundstage is still good.
I'll also paste some of the flacs you can experiment with later
not too sure if this is real flac or just mp3 turned flac, (Actually flac) but sounds nice, so I listen to it :P
this one is nice too
anime op
This might also be mp3 turned flac, (Actually flac) but still sounds nice
goliath is nice
can't you just look at the details of the file
iirc need specific software, and the one ghosty(?) used was paid
this thing was what I was thinking off
nvm found a tool
looks like first one is true flac
gon check last one
this also looks to be lossless
side not, unplugged from onboard audio and plugged into fulla and damn is it nice to have the volume up
and the bass, and details
and soundstage
Alright cool thanks this is what I needed
I'll probably just end up going with the Meizu dongle then
Affordable time scale, affordable, and decent everything
So in the end I think I might just end up going with the Meze 99 Neos and the Meizu Dongle
Thanks guys I honestly was super confused before
not completely sure how hard the meze 99 is to drive, but meizu should theoretically be okay with it, but if it's too quiet, you know where the problem lies.
i forgot the free program, ye i use paid - Adobe Audition
lol are all those songs you got from me
sus, it is my 24bit version of goliath smh, that artist has some nice songs i feel he a bit underrated
omg wait that is 83mb
lol was this a vinyl https://i.imgur.com/Uvbt25x.png
i just feel so ashamed that i discovered woodkid from geo dash....
This is not fun to play under any circumstances, although my favorite part is 1:04. I figured it would be okay to play but I was hella wrong. I'd rather play Sad Santa for 24 hours straight on a stream instead of this. This level is not playable without the 4 GB Patch, but I'll admit that the new version of Woodkid still looks phenomenal and Jak...
One of the main selling points of Meze headphones is that they only take like 30-40 ohms to drive
26 ohm for these
And the Meizu dongle is good all the way up to 600 so I’m good
I don’t listen to audio that loud anyway, I got sensitive ears, so i should be fine
I hardly turn my system volume up above 18
Well, resistance isn't the only thing, like the PC38x has a lower resistance rating than PC37x, but is reportedly harder to run
I’ll be fine until I get an AMP
People can run Mezes off phones
do 34" ultrawide have the same pixel density as 27" 1440p?
oops. thanks
what are some good open back pairs for around 100 USD? but preferably under 80 ohms
I was looking at AKG K240s but I'm not sure if they're that good or not
guys what do you think of this mouse, it is "dragon war g25" and it is 40 dollars, should i buy it ??
I've never heard of that mouse in my life
same
Get a g703
but why
It nice mouse
Ur $80
G305 is cool
will take into consideration, thanks
Don't get a g703
I mixed up the mice
Get a G203, or a Razor V2 Orochi
$43
lol
Also wired
huh
oh yea
goddamn the blue is NICE tho
yea
g602 is the mouse I personally use. It’s extremely durable, I’ve had it for 6 years. It’s wireless, and it has a bunch of programmable keys on the side. This mouse looks nice, but if I’m honest, these gamer mice never end up working nice.

piggy is bizarre
yea but i think it has a really nice sound profile for how bizarre it looks
wow nice, cheers dude, I will put it into consideration, thanks again :D
yeah np dude
so my orochi v2 came in today and
i gotta say
this thing is better than the g305 in ever way
LOL
lmao really?
yes
even the material feels better like the plastic
doesnt feel like its gonna smooth out cause of the fat from ur hands
Inter4sting
mhm
TFW your aunt shows up and drops off a pair of AirPod Pros labeled “For my younger brother’s name” and then just leaves
just wanted to let everyone know that the d60lite drops in 6hrs
not going for but just thought id throw tht out there
B E Z E L S
see to rama works thermal as well
pog design
idk what to feel about its sound tho
analog dreams?
funny how the leaked hk gaming discord chats is them cloning that set
WHAT
gmk and kat set designs:
also gmk and kat waiting time:
it does
coz both still order more food whilst having alot still waiting to be eaten on their table
good correlation
maybe i just get 2 sets and make analog dreams by using sushi epbt set and another set with a decent yellow
hmm
you can’t really compare them because one is made by the one and only pwade and the other is just lame hk gaming
anyone tested/know how bad the latency is with bluetooth 5.1 on a keyboard? (more specifically, the k6)
anyone know of some good headphones for 150 or lower
Closed-Backs
AKG K371s $140 - Fairly neutral sound signature, not very fun for emotional listening or bass-heavy music. Very clean sound though
AKG K361 $105 - Brighter sound than K371, which means less bass and more highs
Creative Aurvana L!VE $75 (not sure if in stock) - V-shaped sound with more bass and highs
Idk much about openbacks sorry
tbh, i never really saw the incentive to get such an expensive headphone
it all depends on preference
$150 isn’t expensive for headphones lmao
^
tru but im not into audio, so it is for me
see thats what i mean its more a preference thing
It’s the upper limit of budget for closed-backs and the midrange budget for open-backs
@rigid valve Whats some good headphone fore bass
Open back or closed back
closed
skullcandy crushers
Dt770 would not be good for bass
Ok
what would be
Hmm idk much in the bass market but what was the budget
around 150
it doesnt have to be like pure bass headphone i just wana make sure they have some good bass
prolly should a specified
B a s s
Maybe like the akg 371
K371s don’t have a ton of bass as vintage will tell ya
But it’s enough to be noticeable
Maybe one from the hifiman i cant recall the freq response tho
haven't tested but i think the alu frame could cause interference with the bt it has
also see other ppl complain about it, tho i still yet to see someone suggest a way to fix it.
I have a k8, no complaints for the bt latency @dreamy goblet
I also have alum frame, doesn't seem to affect anything
Finally a replacement for my old Lenovo keyboard
nice
It's a start
I know it's not a fully customizable keyboard but I don't have the interest in it
It's also wacky Logitech proprietary switches, but yea
The GX Brown are much better than whatever Lenovo crammed into the old one
Corsair support for their keyboards is worth not recommending them to anyone. It's been 4 days with no reply
corsair bad
Yeah overpriced keyboards
Well everything tbh but i feel bad for buying thier fans and aio back when i didnt know alot about pcs
I have a keychron on the way but having to back to a membrane in the mean time is meh
I have been staying with Logitech because they have been great so far
It's a start to the adventures of keeb
Don't entice him
hehe
the adventures of keeb are fraught with financial misfortune and existential crises
it's decent in general considering all the gaming keebs
so good nuff for now
but in a few years....
in a few years he'll be sitting with his $2500 TGR Tomo build like "i never shouldve listened to that guy"
yeh
Ah you underestimate me I have an RX7
oh
I'm not even interested
that's what they all said
mmmmm
Rotary do be money pit
there's a ton of pits for you to fall into financial despair
Yup and I chose RX7
keebs here, audiophile equipment over there, cars in the back, computers on your right
Thankfully I got the most expensive part as shift for my PC
money is temporary, enjoyment is forever.....
or not
Gift*
My RX7 and computer would disagree with that
mmm
alright sounds good, i ordered the k6 with alum frame, hopefully there isnt any issues
i literally have the exact same keyboard rn, and its pretty bad
What switches?
logitech's switches are very mushy
the linear version pretty sure
how much did you get it for?
Odd because when I have typed on it for a bit it was clickey and responsive
$100 for the GX Brown
It's really nice tbh
tbh
Some of the different switches can feel mushy but these ones are good
mhm, maybe mine is older
Better than the $140 most other places were charging for the GX Brown
The blue clicky ones were the cheapest but they are too loud for me
ig if your a gamer and isnt really into keyboards then you might like it
I am not into keyboards at all
I use an ancient Logitech keyboard
yea, if i was you and had a budget of 100, i would have went for a keychron
its definitely an improvement alright
xD
but you prob dont care about hotswap or wireless
how are the stabs on your's?
I have only had bad experiences with wireless
? Whats that?
yea some people just arent into wireless but i just dont like looking at wires allday
stabilizers
I don't like them
I route them under my pc
if you take the keycap off your spacebar, you'll see it on each side of the switches
I don't know
It's still in its box actually because Im not going to be home for a while
mine is as dry as the Sahara desert
oh, sounds exciting
hopefully you like your new keyboard!
how come?
they are the king of budget wireless hotswap
I tested it with a family members pc and it's really nice
i can see why you like it, but
I don't really care for the ability to swap anything and I don't really want to build it and I also didn't like the one I borrowed for a while
its just really mushy to me
yea ight, thats why brands like logitech are still able to sell keyboards
xD
It is
there are so many smaller brands that sell cheaper bards
I only went with Logitech because they are the only company that has not let me down so far
lol
I tried that once and the keyboard was dead very soon after the warranty
Don't remember by now
ye there are bad ones definitely that are "scams" but there are certinally good ones as well
Consider branching out to different brands
Logitech boards are p meh
their low-profile boards are stupid overpriced
Well next time I will look into it but for now I'm going or use this keyboard for who knows how long
Shoutout to best buy for letting me exchange my broken keyboard for a new one even though it was past 15 days
Nice
let's go
wassup
yea I said, "let's go" because (the doctor) said shoutout to bestbuy
My fault for he typo
any thoughts on banana split switches?
poo
the company who makes them is poo but theyre good switches
But yeah excited to get my G513 home and plugged in
ok ok i just got some pewter and banana splits so i’m excited, just wanted to hear some opinions lol
Only worth for the sound, and TKC is not a great company imo
Still nice and smooth
Make sure you film though as they are not very tight
hm ok ok, thank you guys
Is the dt990 or 880 better
The DT880 is technically better. But I wouldn't recommend it anyways.
Asking for advice for Headphones/IEMs:
1: Location? Some things may be accessible in other parts of the world more than others, like the US.
2: What is your budget? List what you are comfortable with spending.
3: Do you have any source gear such as amplifiers or DACs?
4: What environments are you using these in? Is it noisy?
5: What other audio equipment have you had, or, more specifically, enjoyed?
6: What genres and types of music do you listen to?
7: Do you want Headphones or IEMs? Can specify both too
Honestly question lists like these are so so so useful
That is from a pin from the Dankpods server.
It's very handy for people trying to pick out Headphones.
I just
Can’t bring myself to trust dankpods with audiophile recs
Oh, I don't. But the people IN the Dankpods Server in the Audio-general channel DO have good recommendations.
Everyone I’ve talked to who watched him primarily as a source of information is hilariously uneducated
Ah
UR40s?? What are those?? Clem are you stupid why do you shill Koss? WHAT THE HELL ARE KOSS GMRs???
Actual convo I had just last night
Sadly they aren't the same UR40 driver...
Sadge
Big Sadge
Porta pro 🐐
You don’t believe the hate I get for reccing Porta Pros
KSC75 too
I rec’d those one time and deadass just got “aren’t those outdated”
Where though?
F to those people then.
I will say, I love my HE-X4. I think my next pair of headphones are going to be ATH-R70X's though.
The R70X are apparently really good for Stereo Imaging.
Which is one of the keystones to having a good gaming experience.
Turn off all that Headphone 3D Effects garbage, just good ol Stereo Imaging.
Yes
go xlr mini any good?
Are the kz zs10 good iems for gaming and audio work?
Are brown or red gateron switches better on a keychron?
Never heard of em, might be fine
Preference. Reds are linear and Browns are tactile
I would go brown if you're not sure about your preference
Not really. IEMs are not that good for Gaming Audio due to their typical lack of Soundstage and Imaging. And there's better IEMs for around the same price.
Blon BL-03 and Tin T2 Plus would be better options for IEMs in the cheap range.
Arias are pretty nice
More expensive tho
They are, I have them and definitely love them.
I just don't really use IEMs at my desk right now.
KSC75 for VR are goated.
Might have to modify a bit, the clip is too hard to get on my ear rn
Ok, thanks for the suggestions I need them for audio engineering and figured they could be used for gaming so that I dont have headphone hair
Actually maybe want to look into speakers, many people like to mix with some nice monitors tho can be bit more expensive. Something like kali audio lp6 is nice on budget
This is for my church and we already have headphones, and speakers. I was just told that every audio engineer also has their own iems for mixing if something doesnt sound right
That's... not true at all.
Ahhh. Not always true but i can understand. I usually like to use a iem with good isolation for live environments
for $60 what would you reccomend for iems or would you say that I should wait and save for the arias
Some DJs will use IEMs but most actual studio people use speakers.
Context: my friend is a wannabe billboard topper
Tin T2 Plus
imo for aesthetics u gotta see how it compares to ur desk
You can get custom desk mats made for not that much
I ended up getting an Aqua Control + in black
Should be a nice contrast with my white Linnmon
damn i was gonna get either sparks or arias for gaming i heard their soundstage isnt that terrible for it atleast
idk anything about audio so quote me if im wrong but couldnt you get a schiit stack and pair it with an iem or at that point is it not worth it
Sparks wouldn't be good for Gaming in the first place because Bluetooth.
Arias are... not really suited for 3D games. Though 2D games, or rhythm games they would do well with.
hmm
Aye
Are gateron brown switches better than cherry mx switches?
Not really
I’m so stupid omg
Spent a solid hour trying to crimp one end of my practice cable, got everything set up, had to restart twice
Then it’s done, lookin awesome
So I test it out and it doesn’t work
“What”
And then I realize IT WAS BACKWARDS
So cherry mx switches are better?
Not really
Cherry MX and Gateron switches are very similar stock, even lubed
Gaterons might be a lil smoother but the difference is likely to be minimal unless you’re very experienced
If you faced the connector directly so you could see the copper bits, it would look like this
big big big big BIG brain
What’s a practice cable
An old cable I had laying around
Used it for practice
Lol
ay what app can i download to record clips ?
…or not
lmao
has someone heard about the svive keyboards?
Anyone know a good headset I got a razer kraken v2 but it's breaking
Pc37x or pc38x are pretty good at a mid price point
under 100$ sorry
Maybe a cloud ii
Trying to decide between the hyperx alloy origins core and xtrfy k4 tkl. I don't care about software too much and I don't mind abs key caps either. The price is about the same so that doesn't matter, I want linear switches and fairly good stabs as well. Which one is the better keyboard?
HyperX Cloud II or Cloud Alpha
No prebuilt is going to have particularly great stabs. As someone who owns an Alloy Origins (full-size version) I can say they’re pretty not good
I would instead grab a Keychron K8 ($90 on Amazon) for its wireless compatibility and hotswap capability. If you want better stabs you’re going to have to install them yourself, and that is soooo much easier with hotswap. https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Bluetooth-Mechanical-Tenkeyless-Hot-swappable/dp/B0875W65Z2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2K6VBLRN2DT6N&dchild=1&keywords=keychron%2Bk8%2Bhot%2Bswappable&qid=1624802660&sprefix=Keychron%2BK8%2Bh%2Caps%2C218&sr=8-1-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzTEZBMkZTRlpOQ0FPJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzU0ODk5MlpVOVI1U1RTMjQxVCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTg1NTkxM0lIWlJaQ0s4M0lHUyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU&th=1
Sorry for the ugly link I’m a smoothbrain
Logitech G533 any good?
Only concern with the hyperx cloud 2 is the noise cancelling which is probably weird to hear lol
Since when does the cloud 2 have ANC
That’s a gimmick on the product listing “passive noise cancellation”
Just means that it’s a closed-back headphone
Do you have em? Wondering if a software is gonna be required to download
I do not
However if you ever need software it’s gonna be HyperX NGENUITY, which I do own
It’s not a bad software
Okie, thanks
anytime
Probably only need a software if it’s using usb
Yo
What are some measures that I should take to ensure that my Ethernet switch is as low-maintenance as possible?
Also why do these fricking RJ45 connectors have staggered holes instead of straight ones
Ethernet switches require no maintenance at all
Think of it as a fan hub splitter for Ethernet
Ok
There's good wired headsets at the price, but wireless headsets are kinda bad in general

hello question how do i join the minecraft discord server it says it is full
There is a hard limit for users in a server, i think its 800k if its max then all you can do is wait for someone to leave
I just found out how to vertical mount my mousepad
koss gmr air
How does that stack up to a cloud ii?
Not sure on how good it is
I don’t think they same driver
GMR Air better for <50 budgets
Cloud II better for <100 budgets
Wonder how gmr air would sound with a dac
theyre jus takstar pro 82s rebranded with a slight retune but nothing major
unless they changed a lot from the 1.0
@rigid valve I did some research and right now I can't get the k8 anywhere. And I'm using a random 20€ keyboard atm so tbh any keyboard's stabs will win these easily, got any other recommendations
Also I can't get Leopold keyboards in my country

Consider Keychron C1 instead
I'll take a look
Damn, can't get that either. Sucks to live in Finland...
I can get Varmilo keyboards but they're too expensive
try a durgod k320
Can't get those in here
ducky miya pro ?
Too expensive
Reason: Bad word usage
Alright then, can't get anything in Finland
I know there's better keyboards out there but how about the hyperx alloy origins core, it's only 80€ and I can get it
I'm thinking of going with that or the xtrfy k4 tkl
I have it, not bad
Have u swapped the keycaps?
Alr, I was thinking if the cable would interfere with my mouse, has that happened to u?
No
The rgb looks so much better on the keychron than the k60 see pro
@arctic lichen Pretty sure Keychron directly will ship to finland

Keychron K8 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. Tenkeyless Layout. Wireless or Wired. and users can hot swap every switch in seconds with the hot-swappable version. Compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Linux. Keychron Optical or Gateron Switches. Connect up to 3 devices. 15+ RGB Backlight
tbh with the q1 idk if ill buy the assembled one, ill probably just get the barebones and take the holy bobas out of my kbd67 lite and use some gat yellows for the f keys since i dont have enough switches
30 dollars for switches and keycaps is compelling tho
i think ill only buy a q1 if it sounds good
nothing else really catches my interest but its def a good budget board
Hello am having trouble finding a decent headset for around $100
HyperX Cloud II is closer to below 100
Drop Pc37x is closed to above 100
Also the Cloud Alpha ig
Seems like every headset sucks for breathability
Do you guys think the cloud 2 wireless is worth it?
I have to make phone calls with the microphone as well so mic quality is a must
Get a separate mic
The cheapest high-quality mic I feel safe recommending is the Samson Q2U ($60)
But den I gotta buy a gud pair of headphones lol
Porta pros good for gaming?
Like valorant and hearing peeps
Yeah they should do fine
Okie cause yeah, you gotta hear where people are coming from so you don't get rekt
Would the Logitech g pro x be a good balance for sound and mic compared to the cloud 2?
sound>feel gang
yea but i already got two builds with decent typing experiences
got a scarlet and an alice board coming in
i might start lookin for boards again soon now that im makin money
maybe ill talk in glorious disc instead if making fun of wangson
lmfao
whats ur budget and what form factor ?
lmao
tbh im open to like anything if it looks good
biesdes 60
like id take maybe even a 40 or 45 but not a 60
f2 is coming out
frog
r1 frog is gonna be like impossible to get
he already has a few spots saved for streamers
if you want gaskets then ur not getting it with the frog tho
bruh idc about gaskets tbh
as long as it aint something like traymount and it doesnt have like a brass plate
facts
moyu queens just a jwk with 3-staged spring, right?
appanrelty my house has way more ethernet patches than i thought
but none are labeled
so ive just been terminating random cables all day
lesgo
probably some dumb number like 15 or 20
yeah lol
im going to have to use mining money to buy this since i dont have a job yet 😐
unfortunately places dont hire 15 year olds
thts cringe
not that many at least
my cousin is 15 and works at costa vida i guess
ur close tho
working age in az isd like 16
nah its 14 but most places require you to be 16
clem hows ur wiring going nerd
sell one of ur dad's mic
sure sure, you can wait until the revised design goes up. and oh iirc it's an instock item so it's not so much of a problem when it comes to waiting
oh nice
trying to find jobs is confusing
people be like 15 - 20 dollars an hour, must have bachelors in video editing with 5 years experience in video editing and filming
also true
my cousin makes 18 an hour at his dads office as a glorified dishwasher
hes lucky
all he has to do is wash all the surgical tools, sterilize them, then empty the blood buckets at the end of the day
Get into construction if your looking for a job. I started a year ago when I was 15 and they are always looking for people who have good work ethic. And trust me when i say they have all the hours you need.
Yeah im 15, I got a summer job working for someone who does home repairs, it took a while to find one but it's possible
lowkey a good thing
imo stacking up on budget boards isnt a good idea
i sold mine for 150 like a week ago or some
im a be honest not a fan of the look either
really huh, mechmarket?
ive never really used reddit so im not too familiar on how to use it
offerup lol
wait actually? local or shipped
local
everybody here is stuck in midi hell for keyboards
ok
lol
i got a cool alice kit otw 😎
which one
I think lance got samice
huh no results
hehe
honestly even better no ones offering on offer up
maybe bc i sold it already
tofu 60 for 500 makes sense
honestly yea
you could easily build a tofu60 for 500
would make sense if they had expensive switches and rare caps
he picked the worse caps LMFAO
but still wouldnt be a good idea
theyre starting to shine in tht pic
yea its def over priced
its l + f zilents but still
bruh
silent switches
why do so many budget builds on offerup use zilents

i saw a k8 with l+f zilents
200 for gmmk pro, durock stabs, and pc plate is like msrp
oh interesting
then he bought aftermarket stabs and extra plate
really hope keychron makes q1 godlike
and make the pro obsolete lol
never heard of mavix but it looks like a chair i saw on amazon for like 1/3 of the price lol
they seem really expensive for what it is
reminds me of this https://www.amazon.com/NOUHAUS-Ergo3D-Ergonomic-Office-Chair/dp/B07L4ZQMDX/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=ergo+chair&qid=1624910473&sr=8-5
Amazon.com: NOUHAUS Ergo3D Ergonomic Office Chair - Rolling Desk Chair with 3D Adjustable Armrest, 3D Lumbar Support and Blade Wheels - Mesh Computer Chair, Gaming Chairs, Executive Swivel Chair (Black): Furniture & Decor
oh
pesonally, i have a hard time justifying chairs over 500, but thats just me
wats a good ergo chair than
so my pick might b a bit bias
nah most i spent was 300 before
ergochair is a good option
hyken mesh is the best budget pick imo for about 170ish dpending on sales
idk
They are different switch style
jus spares prob
I’m assuming they just put the boba stem in the polia housing
it's most likely the leftovers from making holy bobas
that's what unholy pandas are the leftovers from making holy pandas
Boba stem in polia housing is actually kinda gross
its not too bad considering u4 stem is p expensive
you know how boba stems compare to polia or how they feel in t1 housing ?
no
the only tactiles i have rn (most of them are just a handful not 70+) are normal u4s, greetech/cherry browns, kiwis, t1s, ergo clears
oh yeah and some penguins
My holy bobas are my favorite switch now by far
They sound so good
My most expensive switch by far now too lol
95 cents a switch hurts a little when you think about it
i can make holy bobas or holy t1s rn
but if i can snag u4 stens and save money then i might jus do that
bruv i just had an argument about 3 kids from glarses server about whether or not holy pandas were overpriced at 1.3 each
why did they say they weren't overpriced
I said they weren't overpriced
and they were like "get feker pandas instead they're literally the same thing"
95 cents hurts but I think worth it over regular u4t tbh
yeh
hello\
anyone know the best headset to get off of staples.ca for like 100-200$? it has to be wirless too. i have been looking at the kingston hyperx cloud stinger core... is it any good?
i dont feel like staples is the pinnacle audiophile store
do you have a gift card or smth
wait lili
