Well, you may get slightly better quality from a better dac, and there are some headphones that could make use of more ommph from a better amp, but it'll work ok with a schiit stack

I finally found a good pair of Meze 99 Neos on Amazon and I was wondering if I should pull the trigger now

I've literally never listened to anything better than the KZ ZSN Pros and I don't really have sound set up or anything beyond standard system audio and spotify

so I'm just wondering now if I even need something like them or if I'd be able to hear them at their full potential on my system

if anyone has used them I'd love some feedback

as long as they're substantially better than like mid-range quality earbuds I would be extremely happy

I do however prefer more flatness to too much base as I feel if you can hear more drums than voices the songs are kind of diminished

I'm also considering purchasing the AKG K371s as those are really low price rn and seem like the other option

as I've heard people say that the k371s are way flatter
