and this means?
do u need to know
Usually so cheap though
huh thats interesting. anybody that has bought a pc in the last 20 years here probably has used one lol
aye aye
Dell just didnt have much market on the consumer side here
my school's computer lab was filled with dell membrane kbs
is there a main pc/server company over there like dell is here?
HP was silly big back then
also yeah any place with a lot of computers such as libraries or schools had a few dozen of those lol
but the consumer side was served by smaller companies in general
gotcha
a good example of that is the main library in the town i grew up in. the roughly 20 public machines for internet access etc was supplied by a local company
as in, the library paid them to build them etc etc
ah ic
and that was fairly normal back then
most of the places here just get all in ones from large companies like hp or dell
aye
help
will a 1660s handle 1440p 165hz? I mostly play on low/med settings
Mmmmm, gonna be tough
My 2060 had a hard time with that, takes a bit of GPU to push 1440p at that res. Low/Med MIGHT be OK
or should i get 1080p 240hz
I just want to have a good monitor in case i upgrade. andd 1440p is better
I'd say 1080p more reasonable but at 240hz you'll be leaning on CPU more than GPU
would 1440p just not work well?
Takes a lot more GPU power to push pixels that fast at 1440p
I'd recommend for that a 2060+
ok ty
so you think its worth as long as i have low/med settings?
idk I have many conflicting opinions rn
some say 1440p some say 1080p
idk whats best for me
personally I'd get 1440p even if my gpu wasn't quite up to snuff yet because the gpu will be outdated before the monitor
So lets say i have the 1440p what would happen
like what makes some ppl say no to 1440p with 1660s
would my frames be low?
What are some good and affordable headphones for light games and basic work station use? I was looking at these ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083W69XHY/?coliid=I1CS96HHS2BQ1H&colid=3CGT6SFYKSTW3&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Amazon.com: Sennheiser HD 350BT Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Headphone - 30-Hour Battery Life, USB-C Fast Charging, Virtual Assistant Button, Foldable - White (HD 350BT White): Electronics
if they don't need to be wireless and your budget is around 100, then check out the akg k361s
Are there any differences? I kind of would prefer a bluetooth just for ease. Its mostly for music and animation
quality:price
Oh okay, thanks bros
np

i should've bought these instead of the regular k361s
the guy got lucky bc theyre on sale rn lol
is there a tkl version or alternative to the gk61 or should i grab a keychron
i like the look of the gk but like if i cant get it oh well whatever
gk87, but id jus take a keychron instead
No the sound quality is naturally not as good
whats a good mousepad for control that doesnt need washing every day

Welcome to the Mousepad Mastersheet!
I'm sure many of you are frequent viewers and know your way around but I wanted to make a quick read-me for new viewers.
To find a specific sheet of data, just click one of the sheets at the bottom of the screen.
Speed Chart is the performance sheet,...
looking at this so far
The chart says that and the Hien are your best options
Anyone able to help me set up a USB printer? I'm about to through the damn printer through a wall
im trying to secure an aura pad when they restock
i only ever had network printers, but i’d assume you need drivers or software for the printer
somewhere in settings, devices, printers, add printer something like that
Drivers are installed and up to date
Its flat not recognizing that the USB is connected to the printer
SOmetimes you have to install the software first
They don't all show the minute you plug them in
Grab the software for it and install it while plugged in
another big brain move is to use the default windows devices and printer install wizard
have that detect usb printer
select the driver files you installed manually
can I ask about monitor mounts here?
#old-monitors-and-tv would probably be a better place
if youre planning to get a vesa mount, go with singles over dual/triple monitor mounts
@tight pulsar do you know where to buy standalone spacebars?
not artisans or anything
why? if you don't mind me asking
more movement
youll be able to move each arm as much you want
and place them wherever instead of being locked to one arm
yeah what size and profile?
cherry and 6.25u
huh theres a surprising lack of blank 6.25u spacebars, theres a few on ebay/ali/that stuff, or i'd just grab a dsa one for cheapish on pimpmykeyboard, they have a lot of options, or put a listing up on mm (their server has a channel looking for a few keys such as a spacebar or similar, should be a decent amount of people that use 7u and have a spare 6.25
k thanks
Does anyone know the differences between Artisan Hien and Zowie GSRSE (mousepads btw)
I’m talking about the very small differences that a spreadsheet or review article will never get into
just changed my keycaps and my keyboard looks so nice 🤤
cool
anyone have a pogU eq for xm4's?
opinions about c3 Equalz stabilizers?
theyre good
id rather get durocks
yea they're just at the same price
Which one is xm4 again...
mx-4 thermal paste?
cherry clip in best
Sony wh1000xm4 probably
I'd reference a frequency response chart and raise the frequencies where it falls off
Figured out what the chart was called lol
[IC] KTT HaluHalo Switches

it's now dry season, time to eat some halu-halo
[IC] POPmat
does anyone have any good hotswappable 100% keyboards?
keychron i believe has one
@maiden current keychron C2
does it have rgb?
A version does
although currently oos
@maiden current droq has 2
another image from droq
nice
nvm droq has 3 lmao
you've reached peak wide-ness
yike keycult vickrey auction price
Trying to decide between C1 and K6 … so hard
I would do k6 if rgb backlight was in stock
Re keyboard keys: I really like the tactile/clicky mechanical keys - I am between the blue or brown leaning towards brown I think - any knowledge on how that compares to a Model M keyboard?
model m does not feel like any mx style seit h that i have tried
it wont feel like a blue or brown
but if you care about sound id get blies
but unless you have tried a model M and really like it i'd recommend against any beamspring just since they arent as good as some sources like LTT say they are
sound ID?
What?
Anyone have suggestions for very budget keyboards? Around $40-$50
check pinned messages

what kind of keyboard have a display for if capslock and numlock on
sort of like the hyperx alloy origin
Uh, most keyboards >75% has a indicator for capslock and numlock
Ok, big question what chair do you love for sitting and doing work in? Bonus points if it's cute
It's just a meshback office chair
Yes I’m looking for a similar chair
just most keyboards that arent compact layouts
can you guys help me pick out a mat, gonna pick one up when they restock https://auramech.com/collections/desk-pad
and if anyone is sad that they missed gmk taro, gmk ube is basically a clone set coming out
no thats just an april fools set from jacob
eww a peripherals geek
@snow swift nerd now ur here too
yes
actually tho what headset is like good value with decent enough sound
like 50 bucks range prolly
idk man i just do keyboard stuff
im not an extreme audiophile but just lookin for sumthin
*insert skiptrace statement here
my keyboard doesnt have keycaps beat that
hm
For headphones
Porta Pros look stupid but good sound
Ur40 has been thrown around a couple times idk about it that much though
Mostly a mouse guy so
man debating if i should pick up a PnC ikki or id87v2
did you see the v2 gb?
anyone know of some good mics for under 100USD im looking so upgrade my snowball
fifine, q2u, behringer condenser, mackie element, rode ntusb, and sometimes the wave1 drops down to 99
ok that sounded like another language... Sorry i just dont know much about this im just getting into it
its ok, the ones i mentioned are all usb mics so you jus plug them in ur pc
yea i understood that much 🙂
fortunately with mics, sound test reviews exist so its p easy comparing them
ill link a vid that covers a few of them then you can look up reviews on the ones it didint cover

Thank you
np
@timber ridge do you know anything about mice
yup lol
jus need your budget, grip type and hand size
pinned messages has info about it
i dont really have a tape measure that measures CM
i dont have a ruler and its big for my age per say i can measure inches and do the conversions of you would like
yea thatll do
as for grip i catch myslef doing this one alot
xm1r is really the best go to for claw grip
so i dont need to do the conversions
if you use claw grip, there should be no adjusting
what do you mean
oooo i misread ur msg
you can still do the conversion
if your hand is tiny, i might have to pick another mouse
its 19cm long and 10 wide of i did my conversions right
xm1r still then
and hey one last question
ask as many as u want lol
do you think the k683a will work with the current boom arm i have for my snowball
it should and if it doesnt, you might jus need an adapter
ok thanks alot man
np
actually do you know any sharp looking boom arms that arnt very expensive
i just have a cheap 20$ one currently
whats your idea of "expensive"
uhhh yea i guessw that would be helpfull in your situation
maybe around like 50$ 🤷♂️
maybe a bit more
just within the area
not that many options but im p sure innogear has one
with boom arms its really like sub 20 bucks or 100+
np
https://www.amazon.com/InnoGear-Sturdier-Microphone-Suspension-Adjustable/dp/B07DHLSTLV/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=innogear&qid=1618468714&sr=8-2 is this one fine
Buy InnoGear Microphone Arm Stand, Heavy Duty Mic Arm Microphone Stand Suspension Scissor Boom Stands with Mic Clip and Cable Ties for Blue Yeti Snowball and Blue Yeti Nano(Large): Stands - Amazon.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases
yea thats what i thought but it has two size options so idk if large or medium is better
depends on where youre mounting it tbh
if youre wrapping ur mic over your monitor or have a huge desk , id go large
wait is there much of a difference with the XM1r and the XM1
im p sure the r version is a revision with updated sensors
ok thank you can you check something for me bc i cant find the price of it on their site
if i go on amazon the XM1r is 200$ and the XM1 is 59
ooo prices are v bad
on their site its only 60
sorry im confused again
regular price is 60, but since its sold out everywhere, ppl are selling it much more
when it officially restocks, it''ll be 60 or watever its listed at
it does say they are available on their site
thats weird
thats not what i shows here https://www.endgamegear-shop.co.uk/cart
ohh, are you in EU
in the USA version, it didnt allow me to order from them
So what are you saying?
if you were to buy it, you wont have any issues
xm1r is better but the non r variant isnt bad
if you can wait, id def go with the r variant tho
its cool
thanks man
Y'all hear about the blon mini
gmk kouhai 😳
i just had some pinned gif on my favorites that's not animating so i clicked it
kekw
That’s literally the blue boom arm rip off
Looks more like a psa1 to me
its just a gas spring mic arm
really generic looking one at that
yea im not too familiar with boom arms in the mid range price category
its like either 20 bucks or jus go with the psa1/compass
Reason: Bad word usage
Yea
It doesn’t look bad though. And yeah 200$ is a lot lol
Yea no way in hell im spending 200 on a boom arm
The reviews look good as well
So I would get it
Reason: Bad word usage
all perfierals
Huh?
There's literally no reason to buy a 200 dollar boom arm.
well, there is a reason but most people dont need to spend that much
I mean, i would if I had an extra $200 to toss around. Thats as good of a reason as any.
but the best two arms are both like 100 bucks
@daring zenith
wat
like so i can get blue tooth headphoinbes on my pc
random nice ax200 adapter @bronze terrace
https://www.newegg.ca/rosewill-rnx-ac3000-pci-express/p/N82E16833166144
wack
i need it for linux tho...
If you are buying a 1-3k usd mic I’m sure you’d have no problem using a 200usd stand to ensure it’s security
Can someone help me out in this situation. So my mouse is broken , Ik that since one of the side buttons don’t work. But sometimes on my pc my mouse can only click , for example in discord but nothing else except for discord. Is that a software issue not relating to the mouse? (I also have the latest drivers for my mouse)
you're paying for quality
Talking to skiptrace about quality is impossible

hi friends
I had Skiptrace immediately tell me choice of mobo was too expensive, when I was just asking to make sure it didn't have any critical flaws I I was unaware of.
what brands develops most expensive mice & keyboards
youre gonna have to go custom for the kb
what do you mean
build it if you want the most expensive
what about the mouse
for keyboards, u know..... keycult
new egg & pc part picker shows the fake prices
runs on auctions
tgr jane
im not sure about ur newegg but pcpp iirc doesn't show realtime price and is only partnered from selected stores only
last vickrey auction for keycult went for 5k
tgr jane is on mm for like 7k
o
someone in glorious disc put in a bid for 2.1k
he has a commission ocming
brass bottom 2/65
yeah was about to say
but why lmao
buy a razer blackwidow from me
i'll sell it for 100k and it'll become the most expensive keyboard
get a otd 356cl
Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's good.
youre saying toyota is better than bently or rolls-royc
i know like 24k gold keyboards, im not looking for them
you can buy a 300 year old blanket hand made and from some ancient kingdom or like a generic modern day blanket
im looking for most expesive popular brands
pov: you watched one ltt video about peripherals
"i love the tactile bump of an mx brown"

looks like corsair & razer are the most expensive ones
doesnt like linears but he likes lubed gateron blacks
corsair makes trash peripherals
ew no
razer keebs are crap too
ye true
but corsair makes legit no good peripheral
logitech?
why cors is trash
if you want an expensive board prebuild isnt hte way to go
whos lol
bruh why so many alts here
is it cholax's alt
idek
?
imagine
anyways
this guy
has goated kbs
legit all of his kits are endgame material
i use to watch him when i first got into community and jus rediscovered his channel
i saw some site that will get someone famous to custom design one for you for like 5k
lmao what
tfue kb lol
around the bad value ones, yes
tbh expensive gamer keyboards is a scam
def not a flex
custom mkb > gamer mkb even for flexing
https://artesianbuilds.com/custom-keyboards
idk if its legit but lmao
i see a drop kb
yikes
god is that a drop alt
the most expensive keyboard max must be $300
maltron has some nice expensive ergo keyboards
but those are like
he gonna build a 500$ drop keyboard
bruh look at the specs lmao
for disabilities and stuff
2609 for a 3700x/3060
lmao
lol
logitech's gaming mice are trash
or klippe t for 209 for a kit
idk about their keys
im finally making the leap and building one
most gamer brands would have not great value (prob trash quality too)
logitech has good mice but trash keyboards
logitech has good mice and webcam
go for id80, nk65,, kbd67 lite, bauer lite, klippe t if for first custom keyb
so what brands do you recommend for mouse & key
hmmmm
has bauer lite even gone on gb
full size key wired
mouse depends on your grip type and hand size
not yet
hmmmm so finger/claw grip type?
its been a few months and no updates
I have a Logitech G600 that's served me well for almost five years. I dread the day it breaks.
laughs in car mice
what are you planning to do on it? game? work?
what id use for competitive gaming is much different from what id use for a typing heavy job
game
most fps
its funny that corsair keys are expensive & trash!
is asus keys & mice are good
i dont hear anything about roccat in the us
roccat is popular with mc players and double clicking etc
leopold
?
leopold keybaords
korean?
not sure
thanks any gaming one
what differentiates a regular mechanical keyboard from a gaming one?
rgb & that unattractive colors
if you want aesthetics then legit jus get anykeyboard that you think looks cool
i want both 😅 aesthetic look & great build quality
good keyboards dont really have gamer aesthetics
id jus get a red dragon so that you wont overspend on corsair or razer
is redragon keys are great? both price & quality
little less than a corsair/razer keyboard but like half the price
cheap, wobbly, still mechanical though
you can snag a red dragon kb for like 70 and itll basically be like what razer offers for 200
i want something between redragon & razer
that gap isnt very big at all
i play ~2 hours a day
but ig you can get a ducky one 2
or something
most gamer keyboards are about equal in terms of build quality
jus pick whichever you think suites u best
outemu brown?
if you wanna barely touch the switch then go with reds or something similar
itll actuate jus by touching it lmao
😂
the site says its redragon
but you say it red dragon copyright issue?
redragon is a budget brand
theyre 70 dollar stuff comes p close to what corsair offers at 120+
ok but why corsair keys are trash
theyre trash for the price
they should cost as much as what red dragon offers theirs at
Keychron
Mad catz is a bankrupt company, they don't make anything anymore.
None of the major Keyboard makers have any product that is even remotely close to "good". The first reasonable keyboard you can think about buying is a Keychron.

Can you go dump your superiority somewhere else? The Keychron is good enough for like 90% of people
and so are most gaming keyboards
and for most people they would want quality over upgradability
at leadt for keyboards
I'd rather a Keychron than any Gaming Keyboard. At least Keychron doesn't have software bloat.
yeah it doesnt have any software at all
and their software doesn't support the other pre-existing boards 😛
only comes with the new stock iirc
but qmk exist so wtv
Since when did keychron have software
they kinda have iirc
Never seen any
they said it from their private fb group
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"private" so 🤷
that's where they mainly announcing stuff
can't keep up with their updates since i deleted my phone's social media except twitter
Anyone know of a decent wifi card for sub $20? I don’t need it to be able to carry internet speeds of over 500 mbps
Or like 25 ish
Maybe 30
I just don’t want a 40 dollar wifi card that’s meant for people with 1000 mb internet
I live in the mountains and so my internet is only like 30 mb so I don’t need the best of the best
Wifi isn't just about internet. If you want to transfer data between devices, a faster wifi card can help
Also, just use Ethernet
WiFi is for LAN. It has nothing to do with WAN.
Sometimes it isn't possible to use Ethernet. Like, if your PC is in a different room than the router and you can't convince the owner of the house it's worth it to run a cable between rooms (especially if it may involve putting holes in walls).
Powerline Ethernet
As long as your house has semi-decent wiring. You can use Powerline Ethernet.
It takes 2 little boxes, plug ethernet into both ends and voila you have ethernet using your houses power runs.
I haven't used Powerline, but it's still probably better than WiFi.
That being said, I use WiFi for everything "portable" and have had no issues, though I don't game on anything "portable" besides the Switch, and I'd use Ethernet on the Switch if it had enough USB ports for me to use an adapter.
It does with the Dock
There's 3 USB ports on the dock
1 in the back, and 2 on the side.
Use the one on the back with the official Hori USB to Ethernet Adapter
Do they not also make power line wifi extenders
Not really
Those extenders suck
Powerline is great most of the time. In my old house I tried using it and speeds were worse than a usb wifi card. I'm not sure if we ever figured out the exact reasoning but it had something to do with how power was run in my house. Powerline worked great in each room but barely worked at all between rooms
Yup. This is often the case. Uas to go through the breaker panel to get to other rooms. Interference abounds....
Yea that's actually a solid question I don't know the science of how powerline works at all
Basically as far as I know: The Ethernet Signal is being "buried" inside the AC Power Signal. There's tiny spikes and dips inside the larger AC signal that are where the Ethernet Signal exists.
Not really, ethernet different frequency. Ac power wires arent shielded and receive inteference from neighboring wires.
???
Itsnnot being buried its an entirely different frequency
Once it gets to the breaker panel to go to another room interence happens
Because ac wires arent shielded
I don't think you can buy a keyboard directly from Ducky.
Because Ducky isn't a seller.
They just make the boards.
running a storefront is it's own cost
They can't be arsed to run their own storefront.
Yea I was gonna say a lot of companies don't sell their own products
bit of a shame in a way
cringe
🔨
They probably decided they make more letting retailers take a cut than it is to operate their own webstore and pay people to maintain it and deal with payment processors
Also depending on the specific Ducky board, you could end up with Chattering issues.
Apparently the Ducky One 2 SF has chatter issues.
i want the ducky one 2 mini
also what's the best switch that has a satisfying click but not super loud
click as in sound or feel
because all clicky switches are loud
budget clicky switches dont have the best tactility but they are loud
ig if thats what you want
ill find a video for something id want
For my pc
yes
Clicky = Loud
Tactile = bump but not loud
Tactility describes how it feels, clicky describes how it sounds
i might just buy a ducky one 2 and if they dont have cherry mx silent red
:p
ill just buy them myself and replace them
That's why keychron is bae
for the price of switching mx seitches into a ducky keyboard u could probs just get a custom keyboard
Lol
Uhh for audio production? Or just casual use
Casual use
Like gaming and school and stuff
Tbh headphones will probably be the better option until you go for huge speakers
Yeah, just get some headphones. GOOD speakers cost multiple thousands of dollars.
I'd start with a pair of Koss UR40's or Koss Porta Pros.
Not that much
Yes, that much.
You gotta buy a speaker amp, and the speakers themselves.
(good as in just good, should be able to get some decently nice stuff <1000$)
I mean other stuff is required for these but afaik they are pretty decent
Yeah, and by the time you get an amplifier of any worth, it's about 1.5K USD
I thought I was snooty.
You aren't snooty, standard 3.5mm speakers just blow butt.
You can get vastly better sounding headphones for an 800 dollar budget than you can speakers.
You can get a pair of HD600's, and a Schiit stack for around 600 USD
And that's effectively the peak of what most people will ever buy.
I have an SMSL SA50 that was about $60 or something and a pair of those Pioneer speakers designed by Andrew Jones that I got on sale for like... $80, and they're fine.
Granted, I have a Topping DX7 Pro that I use as a headphone amp / preamp for the speakers
and AKG K702 65th's Annies.
for headphones.
Yeesh, K702's are like ancient relics. I'd consider upgrading to something a bit nicer sounding.
HD 560S's would go pretty well with that DX7 Pro
probably the funniest meme i've ever done
fun fact: that guy (Juan Joya Borja, "El Risitas") was 45 years old at that time

I'm happy enough with what I've got to not throw hundreds more at another set of cans I rarely use anyway. I normally just use the speakers at my desk, or the Arctis Pro Wireless if I need to walk around doing something while listening to something in the background.
Do you mean to tell me that airpods are not the highest quality sound system of all time? That's what they keep telling me at the apple store

no airpod pros are the highest quality sound system of all time
I have the HyperX Cloud 2 (wired) and the audio keeps on cutting out. For seconds at a time the audio will just stop playing, everything else works just fine and it only happens occasionally. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how can I fix it? Thanks!
dongle?
could be dongle or update audio drivers if u havent
if u tried both and it still doesnt work contact hyperx support
oh no
what
please dont get a ducky one two mini
why
its horrible value
really?
Does anyone know a good mouse mat?
i mean you could look almost anywhere
look on amazon
i guarantee there's some good ones there
ig
I've been using one from steel series forever now that I like but I got it as a gift years ago and I have no clue how much it cost
lol
I think it's just this? https://steelseries.com/gaming-mousepads/qck-series?size=m
or at least thats a newer version of this one, since I've had this one at least 4 years
rip crp won't run a rgb modifier set now i gotta spend a lot on a bsp one if i want pbt
has anyone used novelkeys sherbet switches
im trying to figure out what i want to use and got a bunch of tester switches.
it feels about what i want in terms of force and clickiness, but before activation feels a bit scratchy and wobbly, Im not sure if i just need to lube it or if the tester got kind of wonked in the mail or if its just not the best build quality
its a clicky right?
yeah click bar
If you want something with low friction, get a Glorious Elements Air or Ice pad.

Welcome to the Mousepad Mastersheet!
I'm sure many of you are frequent viewers and know your way around but I wanted to make a quick read-me for new viewers.
To find a specific sheet of data, just click one of the sheets at the bottom of the screen.
Speed Chart is the performance sheet,...
it will be in stock after they finish shipping out kit to ppl who reserved early
ah so those pre-order are just before prductin before the mass producing
makes sense
idk how i feel about dogecoin
i kinda want one but i like 65% layout more
and pc and custom is still remaining to be only a dream
i wish i could find a 100% layout with rgb and a clickable rotary encoder, it was the closest i found
it'a hard to find a 100% kit tbh
Are royal kludge keyboards good?
tkl+numpad way better than normal fullsize
you can put it to the left and if you don't want it you can just throw it on ur bed or something and u just got a tkl now
That's a super weird split spacebar. With Fn in the middle?!?
what kind of switches have like 50-55g force and around 2mm actuation distance
maybe 2.2mm
linear
yeah their new switches seem to be nice
their caps have tons of warping issuse so i wouldnt get those but ye the switches are decent
just get 55g springs and spring swap
ok
Gateron Yellows, nice budget switch
we do a little trolling
southpaw has entered the building
yeah but theres a grand total of 8 southpaw boards that are decent
hidari?
the akko cs are nice
iirc many switches have 2mm actuation distance
Yeah
I have HyperX keyboard right now and their switches are 1.8mm though
For speed ig
but tbh ks3 is still the best budget and the ocean blue might become the best budget tactiles
u can get those in aliexpress
hk gaming unless you wanna go hunting on taobao or ali
Ok
from kprepublic or yongqiu
i cant say much about hk gaming set's quality but damn
they rly do be a stinky company
the bow sets there are decent
????
where do u find them anyways
Idk
they're like, everywhere lol
Like where is everywhere
aliexpress, banggood, or ur regional vendor
Ok
best for the price *
Ok
ks3 is nice tho if u want it to be a lil bit more high pitch u can go for milky top yellows
that's the one that's harder to find
most switches have 2mm actuation 4mm bottom out
yea
Wait there are actually sound sorts what
box switches have a shorter actuation and bottom out
yea
Woah
diff material = different sound & feel
get the all nylon ks3s
Why
smoothest
ks3 is nicest
Ok
like nk cream housing = scratch
uhh anyone reccomend a not too expensive headset i have a Arctis 1 rn and the mic qual is really bad and headband is braking off
whats ur budget?
around 100 - 150 aud
whats ur budget too lol
$120 usd
if youre going for a headset alone, id go for a hyper x headset like the cloud 2s
otherwise aim for UR40s and a fifine mic or CAL SE with the same mic
durgod venus unless you want hotswap
^
if keyboard kit, consider klippe t and bakeneko 60
bakeneko is gummyworm oring mount iirc
u just put it in the case, no screwing
Is a gk61 with gateron yellow switches good?
no.
optical yellows would be hella light
35g actuation force is like, too light for most people
unless you blow the keys to type, maybe that'd be good
but tbh just get a keychron C1
gk stuff rly isn't that reliable
low quality and low quality control
some do last for over a year, some breaks so easily
Alright I’ll look into it, thanks tho
Can vouch for that
Somehow the stabs managed to break in like 2 months
Might have been user error because the guy has broken like 4 mouses by throwing them
You what
?
Oh different guy
I think he’s on his fourth glorious model o, arriving today I believe actually
Yeah nah I’m not that bad
Breaking 4 mice and a keeb is not a good record
Good
I don’t know how you break a stab exactly but it’s just kinda broken
Can’t describe it it’s just broken and I’m not bringing over a switch puller to fix it so he currently has my NK65
so even a stab breaks in huh
define broken
I can’t right now I’m bout to go dirt bike remind me in like an hour but basically the key cap won’t go on it I can’t describe it it’s broken and I don’t know
Maybe like the housing broke and the whatever it's called is in a wacky position
whoever can break a stab should never be allowed near a keyboard again
If you knew half of what he’s said you would think he shouldn’t be allowed other humans
It’s something like that
So essentially the wire went below the stem part of the housing somehow
As to how he managed to do that, I don’t know
Probably something he isn’t telling me
Just hoping he doesn’t break my NK65, and I’m making him buy me new hk keycaps for it when he gives me it back (prob won’t happen)
split space masterrace
Why
anti ergonomic masterrace
Good keyboards for around 100$? 70% or full
also where's the delete key?
where's the menu key?
why is home so far up? how are you supposed to use it while typing in such a weird spot?
70% is an incredibly rare layout
Do u mean 75% and or 80%
ok ty
mr1111 would end me if I didn't mention keychron
you're stinky
No keychron is
😳
🐒

bakeneko
hyperx makes an okay keeb for $100
im typing on it rn
only complaint is the keycap wobble and short actuation distance
bakenko is 60% right
yeah and theres an open source 65 version
Lol
But yea we need new hotswap manufacturers
the gk one?
is that an iso enter in the middle
nah thats cursed
yeah
coiled wire meaning something like this?
if so, just more so for aesthetics
just nice looking cable
ok
yeah jwick
Yo my microphone picks up a ton background noise when it never use to, I didnt change locations or change anything in my room so I'm confused ping me if you know
if youre using an audio interface or something of such, check to see if you accidentally messed with the gain. in windows sound panel, check the volume of the microphone and make sure its not set to 100
keychron is stinky if u compare it to a custom lol
esp i see some rants in their private fb group and no staff would answer to those negative feedback.
what
but 99.9% of ppl just want something to type on that isnt utter garbage
thats all theyre asking for
"just gimme something that will last for a while that isnt rubber dome"
thats what most people who come here asking about keyboards really want
they wanna pull it out of the cardboard box and slap it on their desk and type away, get outta here with this cUsToM bs
welp, some of the rants were reasonable anyways
what rant
deleted my fb on my phone so i can't get the track of it anymore
hmmm like it came dry af when they said it already comes prelubed
and it's the non hotswap one
cant say more since i already deleted my fb on phone
can't get some tea
,
,
,
lol
sure
I need y'alls help with something. I'm looking for something I saw before but I can't seem to find it again. it's a pcie to usb card that has 2 usb c's externally AND an internal 20 pin usb c connector
I can't seem to find it though and it's driving me crazy
What’s the ‘best’ switches for gaming? Brown?
I play with browns and they are pretty good
I’m looking for a cheap brown switched keyboard then I guess
I think browns are pretty good too
"best" is entirely subjective
I personally like linears E.G reds for gaming but tactiles E.G browns for typing
but the tactiles i have are too tactile for gaming imo
See ur DM
i'd say keychron c1
with gateron browns
Main problems with it is
-No software for RGB(can change with hotkeys), Macro, Etc
-Cheap keycaps (feel good sound kinda meh)
-expensive shipping when ordering off their website (you can get them on amazon)
upsides
-Upgradability with hotswap and MX style switches
-Very cheap for the quality ur getting
-Sounds good for the price
Yeah, the keychron c1 is hotswap
probs the best hotswap super cheap keyboard on the market rn
Or a Dierya DK61 Pro
I got the C2 and it's extremely sexy
and super nice to use
Dierya keyboards are optical switches iirc
That means?
so you don't get the ability to swap them out with MX style switches
Really?!
They are hotswap but only with gateron optical switches
Too late for me lmao
How much did you pay for it
$50
I mean the only real bad thing about optical switches is that you cant upgrade them with really high end switches like you can with MX sockets
but you can still get different switches for different feels

I mean for 50$ u aint getting mx switches
I know, but I’m trying to say that they have a version that you can but it with cherry
And worth $119
leopold is around that
Wired or wireless mouse?
I say wired because it’s more accurate generally
all personal preference nowadays
they're close nuff unless you really want the 8000hz stuff
So like the Razer viper would be nice
8000hz not much of a difference currently but razer viper is a good mouse lineup
pricing wise only one thats worth it is the viper mini. viper only get if its on sale for $40 or less and viper ultimate/wireless only get if its $70~$80 ish
I just prefer a wired mouse because I don't wanna deal with the mouse battery deciding to die in the middle of a gaming session.
Wanted this but cant find it on amazon and i think their site ship only to us
that keyboard looks so freaking dope imo, I love that blue... I wanna see how it would look like in bright pink lol
I have that keyboard right now. The actuation time is slightly shorter than most keyboards and there’s some keycap wobble, but overall a good choice IMO.
Their software is kinda weird though
👍 will keep looking some keyboards maybe will get this one if cant find anything better
Hey guys what's a good studio headset under $100
I already have a microphone and I prefer a headset with a cable
What kind of sound signature are you looking for? And Open Backed or Closed Backed?
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll soon be offering the Bakeneko60 on CannonKeys! The Bakeneko60 is an open-source keyboard that was originally designed by kkatano. It features an o-ring gasket mount similar to the TGR x SINGA Unikorn. Basically, an o-ring between the plate and PCB provides friction to hold the plate/PCB assembly in the one-pi...
My standard recommendation for Headphones is Koss UR40. Cheap, Great sound, lifetime warranty, super easy to drive.
yeah the bakeneko
no
and the kbd67 lite is 110$ just for the board not the keycaps or switches
and it also isnt on amazon
Is there a decent/good mechanical keyboard for under/around $50ish? also a mouse around 30$, or a combo
