i'm ngl part of me wants liquid spark dac just for the stack
but the smart brain part of me is like no that's stupid get a different one
YO WAIT
o
YO WAIT THOUGH
huh
you might aswell for the stack
now if I could just find one used somewhere cuz I'm a cheapskate
liquid spark dac?
yeah
e30 needs one too
par for the course then

Yeah the weather sometimes
My freaking SSD has been in the frozen hellscape that is Wisconsin for so long
I mean it might be -2 here but at least no storms
@queen sigil any reason why you got the msi b550 board in specific
ic
but bios flashing was also pretty easy

well yeah
props to coolermaster and a few other companies for making it a bit cheaper
2 of some of the best cases are p budget
this is p nice https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=110407.0
[IC] JTK Tanjun 単純 - Novelties Added + Vendor Announcement!!
grr why is shipping a keyboard so expensive
afaik its pretty good
but sometimes legends can be not as sharp as gmk but still good for the most part
jtk is nice
considering price and all the issues with gmk recently id rather take them
standard 60% only?
probably
wkl op
ok I'm trying to contact seller this is ridiculous
what seller?
why is there a nachos2
cause
More nachos are better
are they seafoam green tho
koala so nice
and do you need a gamer headset
yes
70 dollars
ur40 and mod mic or legit any gamer headset
theyll sound pretty much all the same
jus get whatever is more comfy for u
3d audio is a gimmick
and bad in most cases
chances are youll get better imaging and soundstage from a actual pair of headphones

Any peripherals or accessories that’ll help me with the front connectors sliding out? It’s driving me insane.
what front connectors? you mean the front 3.5mm audio jacks?
The HHD, Power, Switch, led+ and -, and reset.
oh those
not really, some motherboards come with a thing you can plug them all into
but other than that your best bet would be zipties and velcro
Thanks I’ll try looking
Are all XLR cables the same? If I buy a $7 one, is it any different than a $20 one? I am buying an XLR cable for Shure SM7B.
some ppl say it does affect it some dont
but considering youre spendn big bucks on a sm7b, i think it wouldnt hurt to splurge a bit on the cable
what is a good brand? @timber ridge
i dont know in particular but im p sure aslong as you dont go super cheap youd get a decent cable
A
bruh import taxes are lame
at full value this board is like $45 just in import stuff for singapore and then another like 45 for actually shipping
okay this is why we should have actually competent people design stuff https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=111230.0
[IC] GMK Kybersio
Some cables have better connectors and shielding than others. Mogami gold are some of the best xlr cables but they come at a price, I would only consider investing a lot in a cable if i had very expensive mics
Here is a good explanation https://youtu.be/A0TlrpVCRgw
What's the difference between an $8 and $50 XLR cable? Do $50 mic cables make your recording sound better? Why pay so much for a cable? In this video, I address those questions and demonstrate the difference in shielding and test if there is any difference in tone based on the XLR cable you're using.
HQ Audio Of Review: https://podcastage.com/...
bet nk is gonna be a vendor prob
Does a Q Connector work for other motherboards?
^ping me if you have an answer, I’m goin to sleep.
anyone have good recommendations for webcams/cameras for streaming
Logitech's C922 Pro Stream @arctic juniper
Most places sell it for like $100, but if you or a friend has a Sam's Club membership, you can buy it for like $65-$70
You can just use your phone tho
Save yourself some money
I doubt people will really care if your face is 720p instead of 1080p or something
I use droidcam
lmao
Logitech Brio
Lol
I think I'm gonna go ahead and get the liquid spark new on monoprice just so I can return it if it sucks
Also I think I'm gonna return the Meizu dongle
Is it bad I'm refreshing USPS every 5 minutes to see when my DAC is here?
it's bad
no its not
oh nice, i actually know someone with a sams membership. is it something id have to order online or would they normally have some in store?
You can do either or
vintage ascending today ?
YES
Ye
Im expecting some packages today also but it seems like everything but my case is making it
not epic
i have something coming from dhl and i have absolutely no clue what it is lol
its me
im gonna pop out of the box and headbutt you directly in the mouth
I'm gonna make my ears bleed
You and me might need to talk later 😉

Oi lance
I hear you know about amps and headphones
I want a good amp and pair of (audiophile) headphones
Preferably within $300
honestly the go to combo for budget rn is zen dac and akg k371 but there is a few dif options you can mess with
considering you like edm, i think youd want a zen dac for the bass boost
it has a more 'fun sound"
This man knows me
but you can swap the k371 for k361
Can you send links pls
theres a lot of headphone options
and ill link the dac then we can go over headphones
that would probably elevate your current gear
and do you like wearing earbuds by any chance?
in ear monitors
oh okay
for headphones, ill list a few from most expensive to cheapest
k371,k361, shp9500(treble might be a bit much but super comfy), CAL, UR40s, Porta pros
stuff at the cheaper end of the list dont really need the dac/amp but its nice to have anyway to future proof and get the most out of your gear
they stand out the most out of the budget picks
and they all kinda hit a different budget
K371 Bluetooth or wired, assuming I get the DAC
i didnt really look too much into the bt version
and the k361 is almost identical as the k371
Almost?
they are just tuned a bit differently
Ah
k371 is tuned to have a little more oomph in the low end
I see
CAL are really good headphones for around 40 bucks sound wise but build quality is not so good
And these also are going to have all the standard things that are marketed in gaming headphones, like 7.1 surround?
I’m assuming because they are obviously of much higher quality than your average Logi or Razer headphones
7.1 surround is 99% of the time a gimmick in gaming headsets
its jus an eq that changes the sound signature
That’s what I’ve heard
actual headphones have better soundstage and imaging which helps with positional audio
That’s also what I’ve heard
You can give almost any headphones "surround sound" by buying a dongle from hyperx or razer
I like to say 99% gimmick because there are very very very few headphones that have decent post processing that make it worth it, first that comes to my head it Airpods Max, you can download those standard virtual surround sound drivers on any stereo headphones (ex: dolby atmos)
^
Razer Hammerheads?
and surround sound from razer wont sound the same from hyperx or corsair
bc its not a real thing, its jus something they implemented afterwards with eq
the AirPods Max processing for surround or eq are the only headphone processing that peak my attention, nearly all others can be matched or beaten with atmos on stereo headphones
although, sometimes, the fake surround sound helps a bit, but most of the time it doesnt and its most definitely not something to seek for in gaming headsets
Don’t look at me, I just bought some Krakens a year ago so I could have sound in my games
lol
its fine, most of us started on gamer headsets
in like super basic terms
its basically like a filter that filters out your audio
so that you get a clean sound
Mmmm
Fun
I think a friend of mine had some Astro headphones that came with something like that
The headphones themselves sucked tho
So it made no difference
tragic lol
it makes things sound better
its important to have a dac and amp bc if you only get an amp and your onboard audio is trash, then youre jus amplifying trash
All I want to do right now is get that DAC, a pair of K371s, turn on some music by TheFatRat on Spotify, and chill for a few hours
thats what setup vintage got
So I’ve heard
except he ordered the wrong dac, but the correct one should be arriving today
hopefully
I saw that earlier while checking the channels
snow might delay it AGAIN xD
Rip
hes gonna turn into jp and have "____ days until zen dac" lol
No storms here rn tho, should be fine
And while I’m here
Mr1111
How about a KB to replace my Cynosa?
oof
have you looked into 65% or 75%
ooo
I like having all the buttons
i have a flow chart in pinned messages
the switches
if you ever get bored of something, you can jus pop them out
Fun thing to be able to do
yea you wont unless u fall down the rabbit hole
you can get a budget hotswap keyboard
@royal sandal do you care about wireless or no
It would be nice to have the option
Looking at the C2 now on Amazon
The Bluetooth one
The brown switches are OK?
is it the hotswap version?
Idk
One sec

- For the sake of moderation both on our bots and Mods, as well as community conversation, this is an English only server.
Are you fine with 75%?
oh sara, lets say you do fall down the rabbit hole and need some nice budget keycaps
hk gaming keycaps
If I am getting slight background buzzing in game would a dac help?
get those
Stfu lili
yas
if its only in gaming im not sure if its your onboard dac thats an issue
if you hve usb c, id try a nice dongle before investing in a dac
Try music too
Music is the best part of having nice headphones
my iems cost more than my headphones lol
lol
IEM?
earbuds
The speakers?
just earbuds
Like VR people say HMD instead of headset
my max budget on iems is 200
i cant justify spending more than that
headphones max budget is prob 500

I think all audiophiles can agree audio is dummy expensive
audiophiles are also the most defensive abt their stuff
vs everyone else
cause they know how stupid it is
lili if youre talking about the ppl in here
sure
we legit have two of the biggest clowns in the community
anybody spending a lot in a hobby gets defensive lol
in this server
Who?
like theyre banned from all the other audio servers n stuff
forknut?
dont wanna say names but i think one got the hammer
who's the other one
other is still present
What did they do?
audio ppl stupid 99% of the time
does the other person name start with an s
is the last letter an e
Ping them
once u spend $350 on audio u hit diminishing returns
yep
yep i know who ur talking about
isn't it like 300$ for a top tier headphone and then like 100/200$ for top tier amp/dac
maybe 200$
Anyone have any good suggestions on a 2k monitor under like $150? Also gotta have a wall mount
hence why dino left
he wasnt a fan of being around some ppl
Yeah
nothing good under 150, some that might be passable though
uh high end is like hifi stuff but for a 500 setup its probably at least 90% as good as the highest end stuff
Oh my bad, didnt realize there was a display channel
but ye audio ppl are some of the dumbest ppl alive
agree
i have flac because if i archive something it might as well be close to the best copy
i have no desire to hang around audio ppl any more than i need to
price is the dark side
pc with the ppl flame everyone who doesnt build
keeb ppl who flame ppl who dont build
looks at Halo
most of the homelab community is nice
nah pc is very elitest
i use to play halo reach everyday
factorio community is nice
halo is a 1/10 franchise
Saving this one
ur just a hater
close
not epic
sara just takes the bait every time and its cute when she gets mad
u know it
good dac pog
hows the sub bass sounding?
I like but everything is on hold now
Just found out wifes computer is completely borked and I have to try and save it
Apparently some program she downloaded came with a little "extra" and I can't even open File Explorer in safe mode nor run MBAM
BUT sub bass is definitely a HECK YEAH
lol rip
Yeah
gotta see if I can save her Windows install because of course she hasn't backed it up lately
-_-
gl
What DAC did you get?
zen dac
Nice
Hmmm
With the GTO firmware, looks like I need Tidal with MQA to get any better than 48khz
Might go back to different firmware
are you changing sample rate thru windows sound properties or whatever?
Nah, just realized I can use ASIO through Music Bee
And with the GTO firmware the light on the front doesn't change
and also that spotify is locked at 48 KHZ lol
Ok, I'm figuring this out
192khz now
Is MQA worth it with Tidal though?
regardless of Tidal, my ears are in love
I figured
sample rate can get wonky
typically the stock sample rate that its set to is the best option
I do like the GTO firmware over the factory installed though
It's more warm
Not so in your face and more like here, I'ma make this sound good
you can turn it with one finger with ease
nice boost
im pretty sure power match is basically a high gain switch
when i had my zen dac i tried leaving xbass off to not spoil my ears lol
i get tidal occasionally on trials for hifi, doesn't have the biggest selection in music but the recommendations they have are nice. depends what you listen to I guess and also I'd recommend you read up on MQA first it's not what many people think it is https://www.reddit.com/r/Music/comments/6n9nxf/good_people_of_rmusic_we_absolutely_need_to_talk/
Must be on, damn, this sounds so good
its such a clean bass boost
yup
nice and punchy
It does not
i only use tidal for specific things
If the song is on tidal i usually use it before I try to buy/download it locally. but at this point most of my music is local or streamed to my mobile devices from a media server, as i have around 2k flacs and growing
Yeah, that's the idea for the house
Am thinking about setting up a NUC or Pi for the Zen Blue on my home theater so it can be used over the network'
but if you use tidal hifi cd quality on phone make sure you don't have data caps lol
keeb wall keeb wall
I might avoid after reading Reddit
I hate crap like that
i dont have unlimited data so i domt touch tidal on mobile lol
but im planning on turning my old phone into a dap
wait you got the e30?
Who
essentially mqa is complicated, expensive and doesn't really make much sense. the reason for most of the hate is because it's proprietary and costs both the consumers and artists money
yeah, I was wondering about audio quality
But the proprietary crap like that is annoying
me?
idk the whole thing but mqa is a lossy format which apparently after decoding can result in lossless? listening to it myself I don't hear much difference, that being said going from mp3 lossy to a lossless file like flac or wav is pretty minimal to most peoples ears already
you
yea

e30/a50s
how much of a difference does it make
¯_(ツ)_/¯
It's not to mine though, I can hear MP3 vs Hig h Quality FLAC
but topping is known for that
my wife hates me for stuff like that lol
but with the 5.0 update it sounds more fuller
if you look around im pretty sure there are 1 or 3 month free trials for tidal and you can try yourself
firmware update
oh
well, how much of a difference is it vs onboard I guess
or if you used dongle before I forget
i prefer the sound more actually
the zen can to me sounded a bit too busy
idk if im imagining it but it seems like after the update it sounds a bit more v shape
mids might be a bit more recessed but the low end is def a bit better with iems
I like, NEED you to try without a dac
/with dongle
and fr fr, have someone blind test it for you if you need to
not gonna drop $100+ if it don't do anything
btw the liquid spark is like an e10k with the bass switch on just by default
rca?
laptop
huh
I want to know if the dac makes any difference or if it's overpriced rca cable box
DAC over Realtek onboard is night and day
yeah but ANY dac vs expensive dac
oh my god dude
the amp is rca in
if you have a splitter cable you can plug literally anything into it
try the amp with e30 vs plugging it like, into your phone or something
thats the thing, no splitter
bro you are a dingleberry
saved me 20 bucks
see the thing is afaik
you should've just gotten a d10s
unless you particularly need the pre-amp capability
i didnt really look into the d10s too much
i was supposed to get an atom dac
but stuff kinda happened
I guess i wouldn't know as far as internals go
but d10s, e30, a10, and liquid spark dac all use the xu208 chip
i mean
if you get an e30, youre not gonna have to worry about ur dac for like forever
i dont plan to upgrade so i bought decent gear
one time purchase
well I'm saying
same goes for d10s
afaik the e30 is just a d10 with a pre amp tacked on
so like why spend 50% more for something you won't use
i was set on the e30/l30 stack for a while
b4 the tariff bumps so thats my reasoning ig
honestly I think this cements for me I should just get liquid spark dac
for the smexy stack
(you know they be lookin foine)
not a fan of the gap between the stack on the edge
I'm talking about how the shape of it becomes narrow towards the end
I think it looks good as a standalone unit but when stacked with that shape it's eh
dunno it looks kinda funky both ways
schiit looks the best imo
bleck
schiit and topping op
topping is the nicer of the two, to me
I just mean, over $600 for dynamic drivers is a bit cringe
What is good webcam for under 50$?
pretty sure everything at that price is basivally be the same
Ok what price would we see some noticable improvements
depends what you're looking for
for just a cheap webcam for like online classes a cheap OEM webcam would work
for streaming or something I know for sure my c922 works and is known for being a goos optio
dont know how it is for its price but it works
Anyone got any recommendations for a boom arm with pop filter for a blue yeti? I know blue yeti does one themselves that’s $100 I’m pretty sure, but I don’t really want to spend that much on one, but if I have to for a good one then I will, thanks
any mic arm under like 40$ are all basically gonna be the same product
and possible others for more money
if they can price it nicely it might be op

imagine if its like 300ish
people think if its the 8xx like 500-1000
yo does anyone have a durgod hades
i have one lol
I use them and I like them
are they just for rgb to shine through?
Here's a bad picture if you wanna see them
I’ll be using my speed silvers soon... hope I like them.
ooo very epic
No, they have two layers of plastic for a different feel and they typically don't get as greasy looking
They're lower quality keycaps than most but they have decent RGB
This is literally just PBT
Not keycap specific
at least when it comes to lower price keycaps
yikes
looking for keyboards is so difficult
paypal invoices are annoying
lol wdym
well to begin with, do you know what you want in a keyboard?
keys
Switches
Hmm nachos 2
how bad is alienware's stuff?
i looked through their periphs and it is disgustingly expensive
Stay away from them
their prebuilds also suck
Wait, alienware peripherals? I was thinking Razer, but alienware?
I know they made some monitors, need to see if they made any other peripherals
i mean their monitors are nice
Depends on the specs
ik but im just saying what i see so far
1080p 240hz?
I know they target pretty high end, I know they are one of the few 360hz panel makers, and one of the very few with 1440p 240hz
wireless keyboard with red or brown switches
Keychron, various different keyboards for different layouts >:D
basically just keychron lmao
who gets wireless just for gaming what
I’m Canadian though
hm
What's wrong with keychron in Canada
get ur friend to ship it over the us border lmao
there isn’t keychron in Canada
apexkeyboards is gonna stock f2s when they ship :p
Wdym
if we looking at Amazon
mhm prolly

it’s 200
i hate it here
Not that i know of
They ship to Canada
lmao what's ur budget
like 60 buckaroos
bruh 💀💀😩😩
juts get one of these theyre like 4¢
Now that I'm done chasing down a BSOD, I can enjoy my Zen....complete bliss it is.
Vintage with k371 right?
dont those have like really heavy membranes
yeah
You Betcha!
It's farking amazeballs
My wife didn't understand why I did this
is that a dac
you have no idea how much i hate those keyboards lmao they're membrane but they're still loud asf
How does it sound, sound stage wise, compared to any open backed headphones you've tried?
Aw
Reason being
Wife shares office for school and stuff, I don't want sound bleed for her online classes
Only thing that I'm iffy about with going closed back is how nice and wide the sound stage is on these open backed headphones
Fair
I mean
just put on good music ez
The sound stage in this setup sounds damned good
But I don't know what I'm missing with open backs either
All I know is that I'm picky with my sound
And with the GTO filter update for the DAC my ears are super happy
I think you'll probably prefer open backs after you try them
I'm still in that midfi hell, I need moar headphones to try and listen to
Yeah, I hear that. my home theater is just about done now so, time to do the PC thing lol
im in like belowfi
cloud2s lol
I would consider it to be high end, imo 200$ and above is the goodies
I still have my Revolvers
(I know 6xx no liked, but 6xx and akg371+ goodies)
They're decent plus I don't have a mic now lol
Need a MicMod or something
modMic?
Antlion Modmic, there we go
WHen you can listen to music and it gives you the chills, it's good
Good (or hell, even decent ones like mine) headphones +dac/amp give that real nice color to the music
@gloomy berry tbh with opened backed headphones sometimes the sounds I hear I mistake for actual things, so I might just turn around during music because of the vocals lel
yall are hyping up audiophile headphones a lot these better be like the second best thing in my life when i buy them
HA!!
Honestly, it's not the phones so much as it is the DAC
No, first best thing, it's going to beat out keycaps
no keycaps looks pretty headphones dont :(
Lol
also if my crp order gets delayed again im going to cry
But seriously, from cheap dac to less cheap dac, there was a huge difference to me (Meizu dong to Fulla)
oh really
Above fulla by a fair margin
It's just a better dac from what I can tell, and since both are amp/dac, not much special about each amp
Zen dac is high quality mid end as far as I know, it's just a step down from like full Schiit stack (like magnus modius) afaik
The Burr Brown chip supposed to be good
Anyways, I don't actually know much about audio stuff, I'm still trotting along making my own conclusions
Maybe I'll come to you about big boi speakers at some point :)
Klipsch or Definitive Audio
If you've got deep pockets, McIntosh tube amps are second to none IMO. pricey as hell though but the sound they emit is stunning
Where can i get a nice custom keyboard?
midfi heaven more like
popcrn is just in hell
prebuilt or are you planning to build urself?
yea he is
if you have over $500 stuff it's just because at that point
i feel like anything over 500 isnt really worth
you hit enough of the checkmarks with headphones under 500
when it comes to planar headphones it sure seems that way
there's almost no inbetweens
planar headphones be like $180, $350, $500... $1200
oof
only inbetweens I can think of are the lcd series
the buyer has to pay another 43ish lol
lcd are eh
what are you ordering
some ppl hate them
or is it just like global customs and stuff
sold a board to somebody in sg with dhl express
I did hear the lcd-2 have the good SLAM though
which definitely interests me hmm yessir
prebuilt lmao
not taking the time to build one
also now i have like $900 on hold in paypal
you could get kbd to build you something but they dont lube your switches
ah wait no its just over 1k
try finding a build service or something but its gonna cost you quite a lot
bruh so are you looking for a custom one or a prebuilt

I think my spacebar issues is just like slight warping
same with my backspace and enter
just dont suck at doing stabs
wow nachos
someones builds one and ships it lmao
and do you know anything about custom keyboards
its gonna cost like 500 minimum and a few months if not like a year
500? sheesh i though they would be klike 250-500
scratch that, minimum a year
you got nothing on my custom commissioned keycult that i totally own
uh you could build a good one for like sub 200 lol
build service isnt cheap
ask alas to order some stuff from taobao and build it ez
he doesnt wanna build
ya just ask alas to ez
send it to taeha ez
or dr huru does cheap af builds and maxf might still do free builds
just ask taeha to make it like tfue keyborad ez
wait list is prob forever tho
hes a really nice guy
alright so I'm getting the $600 apparently, yeet
This one I found on kbdfans that likes 250 if that was the one someone suggested
is that the kit alone or a whole keyboard
and they dont lube, which is like one of the main reasons to go custom imo
it says fully assembled mechanical keyboard with keycaps so im guessing, and the pictures are fully assembled keyboards
link it
everybody say bye to him hes travelling far
INCLUDE Tofu65 Acrylic case ( contains brass weight ) KBD67 rev2.0 PCB (RGB underglow, soldered version). Support VIA configurator Aluminum plate or Brass plate or PC plate Cherry screw-in stabs Screws, rubber feet pad PBT DA DYE-SUB Keycaps (SKU: DP0136) Type-C cable ANSI Layout 、
bye
where is it getting shipped
lol
singapore
damn
very far
christ that is the most expensive 60% i've ever seen
its custom that why
So how is it??
h u h
who has that much money holy
i wish i had 550 to use on a peripheral
My keyboard and mouse together cost more than 4x less than my xbox controller
Like bruh!
sounds like you overpaid for an xbox controller more than anything
why would you get that? it'll prob will have outemu blues, so it won't be good of a deal
prob add like $10 more you'll get the ones with gaterons and has diff switch options
royal kludge RK61 & RK71 would server u well
only take it is u rly like clicky switches
coz there were several better options there
and don't listen to redragon's swappable switch marketing
u can only fit other outemus there
it has outemu reds
me no like blues
blues bad
blue is too clicky clicky
outemu blue's clicks are.....
are the reds okay?
scratchier than the competition
but if its the only red you tried then itll be the best red you tried lol
you wont know its bad until you try better
epomaker and rk are about the same price and are marginally better
gateron is like great budget keyb switch option
bruh u can get a tecware phantom elite for around 50
I’m not trying to spend a lot on a keyboard
oh lol
we love durock
lame
durock lame >:D
@wintry pawn so you want a headset with a mic to record singing on?
just get a standalone mic, they are often much better
also, how much are you looking to spend?
have you ever heard of the logitech k835 or k845?
i found this weird keyboard while looking at some online store
Seems like a foreign market keeb
@wintry pawn ^^^^^
its really weird that i rarely find any discussion about this keyboard online
It's on Shopee which is a Malaysia market i think.
But definitely Euro/Asian market only type thing
yeah its k835 in european market
but i havent seen any marketing material here
https://www.inet.se/produkt/6610030/logitech-k835-tkl-gra
this one that I found in sweden
strangely no one talks about this at all
but the good news is logitech finally made a standard bottom row for their mechanical keyboard
but the font on the key is well, something
K845 font is really weird compare to the K835
at least to me from my pov
seeking guidance on wired headphones with mic for singing, not gaming
get a standalone mic
and a pair of headphones without a mic
how much are you looking to spend
@wintry pawn
ah! let's say $100 for both...?
how about 130?
thats a real nice mic for 99 dollars, and the UR40 are a cheap pair of open back headphones that will be good enough
But you would need an interface for a xlr mic. Xlr in 100usd range i really like the neat king bee or worker bee if you dont mind looks
so the blue yeti would be the 🇧etter option
my 🇧 key has stopped working
anyway, this one is even cheaper, and is usb https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Snowball-Condenser-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B014PYGTUQ
should work fine
better than a headset mic lol
oh
my key works again lol
A samson q2u or atr2005usb might be good and has good upgradability for future xlr
Snowball too nasally for singing
yeah but i realized they probably cant use XLR devices, right?
oh they support usb also
cool
Please explain XLR
Ironically, my husband bought a Snowball "black ice" mic recently - and then he SLIPPED ON BLACK ICE! urg! torn quadriceps tendon. surgery!!!!!!! not sure I can go with snowball........! But if I'm going to use separate mic and headphones...maybe I 'll use his.... and watch out for black ice...
It’s a audio interface
Behringer
Here’s an example of one
