that is an option but putting effects like eq and compressors do add a bit of latency to your voice and it takes up resources. and ofc just as with headphones there is only so much you can do with eq

i used to use the built in mic on a mac, processed through audition, then ran it to my pc because i didnt have mic xD

apple makes me angry sometimes, the airpods max a great example. its so good and terrible. compared to other anc headphones the anc is great sound quality good(compared to anc headphones), passthrough mode great. even the weird ones like spacial audio people say are impressive. but then there are things like that stupid case which i would like to know who designed, no power button, and the earcups hit each other when folded
