this?
ur better off with these 2
Steelseries rival 3
dusty surfaces is the takeaway @west hornet
suure :P
Idk but if you do the opamp mod, power brick mod, felt mod, and pad mod I would argue there isnt a single better well rounded headphone under 10,000usd
It also has less sub bass rolloff than most estats and insane bass impact
Would desks be considered a peripheral? Have a question but don't wanna ask in the wrong channel.
dam thats alot of dust
that more than me not cleaning my laptop in 1 year
What is it with electrostats and having bad bass
that looks exactly how i imagined ur setup to look ngl @west hornet
Because they mostly use small movements of usually mylar film to create sound @swift lantern
So you need a huge estat driver to create a lot of bass in that small movement
Fortunately the 95x has a massive driver

They can't move far
Do they kinda require a minimum speed
Even if they move slow they don't move the driver much
But what you're saying is an optimized dynamic + an electrostat creates the best sound, ever
Yesssss
So because that small distance something like 10hz won't sound loud on most estats
Well for speakers yess
For headphones you lose bass imaging
The best option for headphones is something like what the 95x did
Big estat driver
A well optimized dynamic will serve you well
Bass tho
They are slower, have less bass extension (even if compared to estats the drop-off isnt as soon), and tend to exhibit harsher tones in high-end drivers
Dynamics are the worst option for bass unless you mean something like a subwoofer which is meant just for bass frequencies
And even there you would do better with a plannar subwoofer
Would make a bad headphone
I remember a company tried that
And it resulted in singke directional bass
That was not properly placed
Reason: Bad word usage
And it messed up how frequencies interact
I just want bass that kicks my ass AND accuracy is that so much to ask
And larger estat drivers can do that
The 95x has the heaviest bass impact of any non bass meme headset I have tried
Even if not the loudest sub bass
It has a ton of extension and a ton of impact
So you notice it
And it is due to the driver size
any recommendations for chairs that aren't exactly "gaming chairs?" the racing lookin chairs aren't exactly my thing
yea those are low key pog
didn't Logitech make one
The mods make them literally one of the best headphones period but even stock they are insane

gross
I keep breaking my WASD keys because I press them too hard
maybe that'll fix it
Been doing some rock climbing for a couple years now my fingers get angry sometimes it seems
loooool
roflmaoooooo
at least its not as bad as the rock climber with 180g springs haha
what is a reccomended keyboard titlt?
https://www.spritdesigns.com/mx https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2310
lol that sounds excessive
working out by typing xD
210 S Super Heavy. Starts at 120g, bottoms out at 210g. In stock. World Premier [SPRiT Super Heavy Edition]
that keyboard doubles up as a seat cushion, you can sit on it and the keys don't bottom out
at least its not as bad as alps lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9VQdAxsTZo&feature=emb_title
Keyboard specs and links below.
Keyboard: custom ALPS TKL with LFKeyboards PCB + Aliexpress aluminum case for Filco/similar

need the review
i made a grave mistake
i shouldve gotten Black PP
and orange Yaxi pads
to match my xDuoo fuuuuuuu
blue switches are the number one way to make me want to throw myself into the nearest well
Blue switches in a coworking space is great office etiquette
rip
i present to yall my PP and my Dong
40 bucks
@tacit wing may not wanna say that
for ten dollars more, the PP's are by far money better spent
but for entry level IEM's i wasnt really expecting much
i was gonna get Starfields which is Moondrops mid-tier but theres no Waifu on the box
thats wack
ok this dongle is terrible

What's bad about it
ive just been so spoiled with my stack that its been a long time since ive heard audio output off of a phone or MOBO
and its just dirty
the resolution isnt there
ok now i wanna get dekoni tips
these silicones are not it although i can mod them with foam inserts
uwuwumeow

gamer girl headset
hmm?
Not the egirl headset
are the drivers defective?
not gonna lie i miss my qc35s already
so are they going back or staying
they hav no rgb tho
Whats a good keyboard for around 100$
any kits like the kbd67lite coming out soon?
should be interesting with 3d printed switches
what is the best xlr mic under 300?
@west hornet
never considered a 40% until now https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=109790.0
[IC] Oceanographer - Vendor, GB Dates, Colors, and Pricing Announced!
@timber ridge idk
I didn't realize how used to qc35 i am
even after I got rid of the static its yikes
i think ill keep them though as use them for gaming/mic and just use qc35 if im just watching smth
hey guys, any good headsets you recommend? below $110 is good:)
is stand alone mic and headphones ok?
yep!
try cb1s and fifine mic combo
it should come around 110 or so and its prob the best budget combo
thanks!
np
just watched a review about the cb1, from a guy named Z-reviews.
I find myself wanting the Philips sph9500...
what swayed ur opninion?
I was looking at reviews then saw that his(Z-reviews) most viewed video is the shp9500
apparently it's good for gaming, Hardware Canucks also made a review about itπ―
the shps are more known, the cb1s are really good but usually go unnoticed by a lot
but both will give you a better sound experienced compared to gaming headsets
its also close back vs open back, so that can be put in consideration
agree, many say "Gaming" in products, especially chairs, are just gimmicks
yea gaming chairs are terrible
some gaming headsets are p good tho
hyperx and coolermaster
some ppl consider the shps overrated but theyll do better than a gamer headset
@sturdy sinew personally I really like the rode nt1
is there anything better than the zen amp thats around the same price?
guys i think i overlubed my stabs because now my space bar and backspace key dont return back up they just stay ddown
and kinda just tap them and they activiate
how do i fix this
A towel?
Fiio k5
JDS atom maybe idk kinda depends
I don't like the ifis cuz they use balanced all over the place and that's annoying
Schiit stack best
Ok well now that I'm looking into it the k5 actually seems kinda under powered
Although it is also a dac I wonder if that's part of it
Wipe it
Then relube
Less is more with thicker lubes like 205g0
Hm
Well if u smear half the container on then duh itll feel weird
Is the real reason to have separate dacs and amps just so you can have an amp with an absurd amount of juice
No its cuz its usually better separately
Does the Razer Kraken X USB headset work with PS4?
If it's usb it should work with anything with a usb port
I think so
Also it's a gaming headset so almost 100%
Is it a good headset?
i used dielectric grease for it all lmfao
maybe not the smartest idea of mine
2 of my stabs came out just fine others did not
its a valid strat
yeah so are you lubing like
normal cherry stabs
or some other stabs
I need a good gaming USB headset under 100$ compatible with PS4 Pro
let me look what the nk65 comes with
apparently not
or are you just nuking it
well i did half of them perfectly
my enter and shift sound amazing
i just over applied on my space and backspace
then just relube it
yeah
it was factory lubed partially
and i clipped them
i just blatantly over applied i tihkn

yeah as a i press down i can feel like lube like stopping it
i think i could be because the inside of th ekycaps just have lube everywher
imma g o claen them out
???????????????????
the lube was in the like stabilizer stems
so it gotinto the keycap stems
that kind of fixed my space bar but my backspace is still broken
space bar is still broken i lied
not sure what to i tried to wash them out (stabs) and i washed out the keycaps
my theory is i overlubed the housing and the stem is getting like stuck there
ive lubed my fair share of stabs and its pretty hard to overlube them enough to make them not work right
Found some nice old cable in basement xD
always nice to have lots of spare RCA cables
Ya I didnβt know I had so many I keep a few in case, also I didnβt know 3.5mm to rca was a thing haha
best cable right there
i have a 3.5 to dual male rca, and a dual female rca to 3.5
super useful
AC/DC literally haven't changed their sound and style for like 40 years
literally every song on this new album sounds the same, and also sounds the same as every other AC/DC album in the last 40 years
and thats why they're a terrible band
its a shame since they got talent, but my god they need to do something different with it
Changing up things once in a while is nice
Im sure their fans are stoked
Just got a 3.5 to rca the other day for potential amp compatibility
anyone know a solid PC RGB LED strip light thats actually good
corsair makes some good stuff
any good reccomendations for wireless mechanical keyboards that are tenkeyless?
if it isnt tenkeyless must have media keys
Are you going to be gaming with this keyboard
yes
Gaming with it in wireless mode?
yyes
So usually with wireless keyboards you're going to be either getting 2.4ghz to be gaming
But good 2.4ghz keyboards are rare
And anyways ur gonna have to charge the keyboard alot
@west hornet i have been looking at a shure mv7 I think is what itβs called but I was looking around and I was seeing a lot of people recommended the rode nt1
ok
and what's ur budget
under 110
110USD?
yes usd
The only keyboard I know of around that price is maybe the KC 84
also rgb not ugly colored keycaps
rip
I don't know any good keyboard that's wireless
it doesnt have to be like super fast reactive keys
i just need one that works
and is wireless with rgb
that doesn't have crazy low quality specs
M7v is nice, it like the usb/xlr version of the sm7b, strangely I see some say they prefer the sound via usb instead of xlr @sturdy sinew
Also no clue what you mean by "fast reactive keys"
i dont need something thats like super advanced
Yeah still no clue what you're talking about
i just described what i want
@west hornet yea but when I was looking at like reviews on youtube I was seeing a trend where it was only really worth it if you used both inputs. Thats why im considering other options
If it was up to me I wouldnt even get a wireless keyboard
but this is something that fills ur description
There arent decent 2.4ghz in your budget
and most wireless keyboards have a small battery
And if you want a bluetooth you're gonna need to plug it in or it's gonna have alot of delay
@west hornet also I would be upgrading from a blue yeti mic
@queen sigil could just give them a Keychron K8 and be done with it
yeah but they need a "gaming" keyboard
k8 uses bluetooth
the DIERYA DK63 and the anne pro 2 seem to be nice wireless gaming keyboards
its BT
huh
Also they wanted TKL
lol gaming keyboards
oh nvm

do u know cheap 2,4 ghz keyboards
I'm using it wired so uh
same
Keychron K8 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. Tenkeyless Layout. Wireless or Wired. and users can hot swap every switch in seconds with the hot-swappable version. Compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Linux. Keychron Optical or Gateron Switches. Connect up to 3 devices. 15+ RGB Backlight
I have a corsair k70 keyboard
no i dont deal with wireless
Yes
is the rode nt1 a good upgrade over the blue yeti mic?
Iβm not sure what the differences between the nt1 and nt1a are but Iβd say itβs a nice upgrade if setup properly. also keeping in mind you need a interface for a xlr mic and it does also come down to what you are satisfied with
Yeah what's the deal with xlr microphones
Can you hook them up to an external preamp of sorts or do they require an internal soundcard
@west hornet how much would the interface cost?
i got a 144hz monitor but idk if i need a display port even tho it came with a hdmi(idk if its 2). So does someone know how to tell hdmi cables apart and or if i need to get a DP
Should i buy this ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sennheiser-HD-558-Open-Back-Around-Ear-Stereo-Headphones-Black-VG/133603013815?epid=132893314&hash=item1f1b5c34b7:g:5DYAAOSwidZf0n4r
if you wanna use ur monitor at its full potential then you need a dp
@timber ridge hdmi 2.0 and hdmi 1.4b can both do 144hz 1080p
My interface which is motu m2 i got for ~150usd, the cheapest there is is about 40usd. I mightβve seen some bundles with nt1 and a interface you can research @sturdy sinew
true, but most monitors dont have it
have what
@west hornet when you mean interface do you mean a amp? or am I dumb
That's what my monitor came with
i thought 1.4b caps at 120
natively 120hz, but most panels have optimizations that allow for 144hz
my monitor came with a hdmi but idk what kind. do u know how i can tell them apart @daring zenith
Like on mine
@molten fern just plug it in
and see what the max you can set the refresh rate to is
Itβs a adc and preamp. Converts a audio signal to a digital usb signal
afterall, if it works, it works.
Usb mics have them built in
Yup, also podcastage yt channel I like for mic and some interface reviews, he pretty thorough and organized with them
I also have a 250 ohm headset so I need a amp with both of em right
you dont need one
huh
wait i mightve misread that, if you asking if you need an amp for a 250 ohm headset
its not needed
well I already have one but I wanna get a xlr mic so I would need a interface thingy with both the xlr and amp for my headset
Not necessarily, but I also donβt know the whole info on what makes a headphone hard to drive. Some interfaces do have pretty good headphone outputs tho. I was very surprised with the headphone out on my motu m2 tho I still prefer a different dac/amp for casual listening for some reason
wait I can use both at the same time?
for an interface i recommend the Audient Evo 4
like 2 different amps
Ya ofc and many interfaces have direct monitoring for the mic inputs
Headphone out and speaker out could be mixed tho, headphone might turn off with speaker connected and stuff on some interface
Evo 4 is nice
I went to that podcatage dude and I was looking at the 3030 audio gear gift guide and I saw a interface thingy for 50 bucks
it was the Behringer um2
the evo 4 also looks nice
is that Behringer um2 a actual good option for the rode nt1?
For a nt1 Iβd go a bit higher. The um2 is a bit noisy and I had problems with the headphone out and direct monitoring. It a ok option for more budget mics tho
what about he evo 4?
From first glance it looks nice, ya might have to look up a review for it idk much on that one
I love my motu m2, focusrite 2i2 is also very popular, possibly the solo too
I hvae heard good things on any of hte scarlett thigns
Just bought the evo 4
i just leave in iems or phone
i changed my mind about the SSP, despite it being overly-saturated, very recessed mids and and the miniscule bump on the low-end over the SSR's (which was literally nothing). its 40 dollars well spent, they won't leave my ears

How hard a headphone is to drive is determined both by it's Ohms and it's listed efficiency in dB/watt
The 6xx despite being a 300ohm isn't incredibly hard to drive for example
standout iems is nice, then you get people staring at your ears xD
@tacit wing imagine not using tin t2 smdh
more at my ears and not my ugly face
t2 gang
id take some ZS10 Pros over Tin T2's tbh
gulag
i was just using them minute ago, but phone almost dead now
Tin T2's were the go to IEM's for under 50 bucks like a few years ago, it has some competition now
hm black or a different color for this board
KXXS the next cop
neon yellow keyboard when
tbh i got t2 over zs10 pro because build looked decent besides connector, i wanted to try em, and the cable is nice, needed iem to survive daily use
yes
@queen sigil how are keycaps on a keychron? Iβm thinking abt getting a good friend a keychron cause heβs looking to get into mechanical keyboards
there is pbt options but its a brownish color
Ok
:( whats wrong with beige
not really beige
its like orange brown
sienna
hm
dookie color keycaps
o wait
im still kinda tempted to get tfz t2s
yes
i was supposed to get them earlier but my budget could only afford blon 03s
rough times
actually idk
o dino,how does the dt880s compare to the 990s
the 990's have a travel peak thats leans it toward the brighter side
990's are more polarizing to alot of people and some find that peak offensive, while some love it
also 880's are more neutral and the bass is more pronounced but both cans are bright and u-shaped
kk
so its looking like my audio upgrade is gonna be dt 880s and zen amp
unless there is any other combo that is similar price
880's are pog
o god i really wanna get more IEM's
the SSP's gave me an itch and i wanna scratch it
enter the $60 price range
tfz?
idk, theyre all good
waht about Starfields
personally, i would pick up tfz t2s
i refuse to install that game
Can you guys recommend monitor that is 240-280 hz below 350 budget?
if it wasnt for this game i wouldve gotten Sundaras by now
400 dollars down the drain
rip
but i get to see some booty all day so its worth it
i have enough weeb gatcha games lol
do u play azur lane
nope
Genshin is my first gacha
bros I am SO UPSET
cool
π¦
I practically live in this channel lmao
even when it's not about peripherals I talk about it here
so anyway, the history channel had ONE REDEEMING QUALITY about it
and that was project blue book
such a good TV series
and these MFers CANCEL it
like
bruh
it was so good π₯Ί

rip
i need to catch up with Attack on Titan
they only had 2 seasons and they're already done with the third
but on the bright side they may be continuing it on a streaming service since the owners of the series want to keep it going because it really is SO GOOD
so I hope they do
and I re-iterate, if you haven't seen it you should
it's only about 20 episodes rn but it's good
it's SO GOOD
the last episode i watched was when one mf licked the blood off the floor and mf became a titan
and i stopped after that
i dont remember
also excited for The Promised Neverland S2 this February
i dont think i finished s1
my most anticipated has to be S2 of Vinland Saga
i still think about that show after more than a year of finishing S1
i havent watched much anime recently
most animes i forget about a few weeks after i finish a season and i need a refresh, but Vinland, i remember everything about it still
me neither ive just been playing alot of Genshin
i have to catch up in 7ds
forgot about that
Are there sub for the movie yet?
idk when it will be available for streaming
KNY movie bout to kick Spirited Away's ass in the box office
π
cb1 pog
i literally told someone to go that combo earlier today
@last plinth I know we're coming close to when you're gonna buy your stuff, when are you actually gonna buy your stuff>
?*
π¦
idk probaly another 2 weeks or so
so these are the audio interfaces I have been looking at. The Focusrite Scarlett Solo (3rd Gen), M-Audio AIR 192|4-- 2-In/2-Out, Presonus AudioBox USB 96 25th Anniversary Edition, 96K. Out of those what would be the best choice? for the Rode nt1
I have the cloud 1 and it's decent
is the cloud 1 even a thing
any sugestion for a good keyboard? Logitech, Corsair, Razer, Steelseries mainly this..... the expensive ones can't test them here on stores cause they usually don't have it
hmm, how are monoprice amps I wonder
Hmmm do you want 60% TKL or full size?
full size, i'm more in the fence of what brand is top upper
i guess, faster better
maybe a razer huntsman
They have it in full size, TKL and 60%
And optical switches
fast?
@unreal sable what games u play btw
tell budget
Yeah and what budget too
on my short press test when i go on stores i noticed i prefer more tactile ones or mx cherry, at least i'm convinced of that, i prefer also low keyboards and i do like mechanical
preferebly around 80β¬ top, but i know they are never cheap
Yeah
maybe you can tell one low, one medium and then one top price
hmm
I am lookin
Maybe a razer black widow or huntsman
Or a Corsair one
I am pretty sure they have a brand new board
this would probaly be the best one
Price wise
they ship world-wide pretty sure
in theory i prefer something that i generally would find in stores anywhere and from a Brand, but i can look all links
it looks just like one of my first keyboards and i have a cheap Mitsai very similar
Really what happened to the shp 9500 and t669 fanboi
Typing and sound comparison between the FC980C 30g and 45g models, both with Topre switches
The 30g is noticeably lighter and has a softer, more muted sound
And also that my razer headset is kinda breaking
In like one month to two of use
Like the audio won't work
Sometime my mic wont wori
comparing to a logitech will a Razer last like 14 years, no stress?
Really, i was thinking that yes, i bought this one for like 10 dollars and it still runs fine, i just see more performance on these new ones today on stores, specially gaming ones, i'm not sure yet if i need a gaming one but i always like Gaming ones, but i don't do games, i just type a lot. main goal is not ge tired typing
Uhh
I'm talking about my razer headset to dino
What r u talking about
π

dont listen to cholax
best one seen so far is Razer BlackWidow Elite i guess
best prebuilt
unless u want rgb and stuff
leopold has the best build quality
that one is better in my price range
i will never be able to test it before buying? right?
no u wont be able to
bruh u said logitech has the best build quality
And I asked what he was talking about
I mean sure
He asked me
If razer or logitech have better
Build quality
β

i'm gonna be honest Sir, i cannot buy nothing i can't test before, that is why i said preferably "generaly on stores", i do like those ones just not that too old look but.....

the best thing u can do @unreal sable is look at reviews
You can return it aswell im p sure
i know, i seen many, but i get to same, when i go on store the keyboard may be great but i touch it and i don't like it, i was going to buy a Logitech and to 80β¬ i didn't like them so much, i wanna see if it lasts at least 10 years
yes but on Covid is a pain the Ass, that is what i said to the lady on store that told me same as you did now
This could be the last keyboard you'll ever need
00:00 b roll
00:34 introduction
00:59 design
03:00 layout
05:43 dip switches
07:00 build quality

13:05 conclusion
Subtitles are uploaded by me and are accurate to what is being said
Instagram: https://www.insta...
lot time back and forth, going back, if is a Brand one, what Brand would you say to get?
leopold
i can see you usually like custom
idk much about keyboard and i am not very picky with them but i know sadly with audio many widespread stores don't have any decent headphones, you have to go searching to a store with decent equipment that may not even be available in most area
most people will just buy and if they don't like then resell or abuse amazon return policy
on all those Brands, can you just say one to go?
the Razer i seen looks a lot better than the Logitech, if you say No, it really fools me
razer i know people complain a lot about in keyboards. personally i own a blackwidow and can just say it has a lot of stem wobble on the switches and its made of plastic
talking on that what Brand of those ones generally has more complains? good thing to know
generally model matters more then brand tho. razer recently has some nice mouse, and their blackshark v2 headset look ok, i like my viper. i think some people here been recommending some keychron keyboards lately. im not a keyboard person tho. can't say much on it
or models
i am starting by the top, then on that i see models
@queen sigil Where can I buy a Braided and Coiled Keyboard Cable?
just thinking if it will be an error to switch to Razer ones
whats the best bluetooth adapter
idk, but for me, my next keyboard probably won't be razer Β―_(γ)_/Β―
There is one good low profile Logitech keyboard u should go for
Might not be ur budget tho ://
G513?
No
G815
Or you could get Roccat Vulcan 120 aimo
There is also a TKL version which is the Roccat Vulcan TKL pro @unreal sable
Those are all low profile keyboards ^^^^
i have seen that one just online, i do like it, only thing is just it's not wired, and i am not used to tkl
I mean I there is TKL and full sized
Of the board
ok
@unreal sable The G815 Is full sized and wired
wouldnt recommend getting a keyboard from one of the big gamer companies
sounds good buddy, just lmk β₯οΈ
I both agree and disagree. I personally agree that they have a lot of gimmicks, but they do have a lot of nice features that I use, and at a reasonable price compared to customs. obviously custom keebs are more expensive and I would love one someday, I see why the gamer keebs have their place π
personally, I bought the K100, like I just bought it, got it on sale for $180. and it's gonna replace my K55. at the price I don't really know anything better, and I do love the quality of the RGB
something that naed and I talked about a lot π
I'm all for spending a little extra to get that higher saturation and brighter colors
the thing with keyboards from big gamer companies, youre really paying for the brand more than the keyboard in a lot of cases
literally anywhere
im no cable wizard
i dont own an aviator cable
you're not wrong, but to be fair, corsair does have quality RGB with good saturation and a lot of brightness
and I do really like the numpad, I use it all the time
I also use the macro keys on my K55 a lot
so I guess it comes down to use case
like for work I may get a custom keeb but idk yet
if your keyboard makes you happy, then its not a bad purchase
this right here is key ^^^^^
I dont crucify ppl who buy keybaords from big gamer companies
if anything makes u happy then it was worthwhile
bro you boys really out here sayin that π₯Ί
if you have a bleak view on any peripherals, whether be it audio or keyboards (not mice), most of these gaming whatevers will do the job
whatever satisfies the consumer is very different from what satisfies the enthusiasts
that is also facts
some ppl dont understand that
the further down the rabbit hole u go the more u cant find endgame true story
I guess I'm just special in a sense that I use the numpad a LOT, so I never buy a keeb without one, where I can also see the appeal of a 60-65%, etc
it obv makes sense that gamer keebs are a bit cheaper since they mass produce and you can't customize much aside from lighting
All the rabbit holes
could you buy keycaps too? since cherry switches have a standard way that the caps actually attach
going from a fullsized to 60 was very nice for my mouse and just general desk space
cause I lowkey would love some custom keycaps
you can buy custom keycaps for corsair keebs
yeah any mx style switch u can buy keycaps
welll then dangggg*
here we go
I might do that
Oi
its gonna start with keycaps

ah yes good correction lol
lmao
oh god
youre down bad in the rabbit hole
I'm scared dad please help
its already too late
oh no
just gotta accept it now
we'll see about keycaps down the line, I don't even have the damn thing yet
see thats not good u dont even have the keyboard and were talking about new keycaps
gmk black on white
TBF it do be kinda sexy
and their RGB is just different
the tech they use is just better
it too big
like I said I'm special, and a numpad is kinda essential so
finding a custom keeb at $180 with all that is pretty hard
nearly impossible, at least with what I want, in mind
you can find a 65% and a dedicated num pad all for 180
ext65 is the solution to all of ur problems
crucify the normies
