in headphones you only need nice stereo. reason why i stress surround in headphones being a gimmick is because well it's a faked surround sound and good stereo is better imo especially for music, and even if you want to faked surround for some things you can add yourself with atmos or something on any stereo headphone

I trimmed some of the excess diaghram along with removing rear felt (gonna be cleaning it a lot more often) and found that it can actually sound pretty wide and get a good bit louder without distortion

It means more low and high spikes next to eachother which is why things like most beyer headsets and the deva lose detail in things like s sounds
