Also most digital to analog converters are pretty flat so most dac to dac variance is just in the amplification side once you get to a clock speed that is good enough for your files and 28 bit or more

Best option however is always just get a flat dac or one with 8dip opamps and opamp role for a sound you want and an amp with opamps you can do the same for and then spring for some nice discrete opamps

And aslong as you have the power output you need you are set
