I open task manager and it freezes
along with this one game I try to play
I also used DDU as well
same results
fixed it, wasn't connected to the GPU
💀
but new problem, I see tiny, really tiny pixels, the whole screen looks like a tv with little static hovers above
Also causes this overlaying shadow?
Are you on hdmi or display port
Make sure ur running at 240
I mean that was my issue
Mine looked like that and i had to switch from hdmi to DP
Bc my cable didnt support 240
DP
Hey everyone! I built a new PC recently and finally bought a video card for it. It came with a copy of Crimson Desert which I installed last night (after taking a few days to recover my Steam account I hadn't used in 10 years lol). When I went to run the game, a message popped up saying the experience is intended for a controller...
While I've done some googling and used a couple AIs to help, I wanted to see what REAL people use.
What are you using these days? Anyone have a recommendation?
up to you to use whatever you want
you could try both and see which you prefer
If I was buying a new controller I'd probably be looking at gamesir g7 he for ~$50. Pretty standard xbox layout with a couple of back buttons. I have the older g7 se and it's been good. The g7 he has a nicer d pad and face buttons.
Curious on your guys opinion. I personally would never buy something like this, but it is pretty cheap. Worth you think?
It’s current gen Samsung Odyssey Ark 55” monitor 165hz, but has a lot of dead pixels.
Price tag $450, but can prob pick for $400
I'll look into that one! That brand has come up a lot while I was searching.
Appreciate the advice!
That's more than a LOT of dead pixels. I would pass. You never know if that issue would grow over time, too. Great price, but it's that price for a reason.
No rather get a working oled monitor for that price
even $400 for that much damage is a joke
Highly highly recommend the 8bitdo ultimate 2C
It’s $20 and highly customizable
Ultimate 2C is insane for the price
It’s one of the best controllers out there, for a third of an Xbox controller
I have one of the pink wired ones and it was only $15 at the time. I really don't like where it puts the extra buttons though. It's also a bit smaller than standard so if you have big hands you might not like it. I don't think anything else that cheap is even remotely in the same league though.
I've compared it hands-on with an xbox controller and it's not so much smaller, just the grips are a bit more vertical
I like the feel of it personally, and the finish is great
Yeah
Same
Is there big mouses I can buy? Heard there's an Asus one, but it got bad reviews
use case?
Fps and survival games
I have large hands myself and personally use a Logitech G703 lightspeed which is larger on shell but there are razer clones that do just as well tho the name isn’t on top of my head
Most mmo oriented mouse are gigantic
I see a lot of recommendations for gamesir (and this specific controller) a lot.
Seems nice to have the back buttons since all imma use it for is racing games
8bitdo
8bitdo has two 3rd buttons on the back, and an additional one in the front.
@hollow cipher
Plus, cheaper.
Basically same price for wireless
Ultimate 2C is wireless
Can do wired/BT/2.4G
Though the paddles on the gamesir might be preferable to the extra bumpers on the 8bitdo
Gamesir paddles look a little more natural to click
Idk looking at Reddit it seems very close
I will be an 8bitdo Stan
@desert vigil I personally use the Razer Basilisk V3 Ultimate mouse which is pretty big and has now survived 4 years of daily abuse.
I won an MSI Strike Pro keyboard and Versa Pro mouse a month or so ago. Other than the software, both are pretty nice. The mouse feels similar to a Logitech G502 (one of my favs). I started Crimson Desert and so far, they've been working well. I can see how a controller might feel more natural...plus haptics would be cool. I'll have to pop over to MicroCenter and/or Best Buy to try some of the recommendations out.
I heard good things about those. Except build quality.
Seems like they have a slight problem with qc
The only QC issue I experienced was the little cover over the power/charging indicator light on the keyboard. The adhesive isn't holding it down the best. A little glue would solve that. Can't complain too much for free.
If I was buying then sure, I'd choose something else for each. Maybe a G502 variant mouse or something similarly shaped to the Razer Deathadder. Not sure about keyboards. I like the feeling of clicky keys, but they have to be pretty quiet.
Have you tried the HyperX line?
Specifically the hyperX alloy origins 60%?
Haven't had the pleasure yet. I'll have to look those up. What do you like about those?
Quite clicky, very responsive. Replaceable caps.
Ooo sounds nice! I'll look into that, too.
im trying to decide between the razer viper v4 pro and the logitech superstrike x2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
superstrike
it's literally game changing
viper is good, but i don't lkike it. everyone says uperstrike x2 is amazing
Newegg has a super huge order for the Superstrike x2 btw @balmy sandal
the PM is so happy
ok did you tell me which one would be better?
Steam controller… or superstrike

Logeitch Superstrike X2
When you get one, please think of me and get me one too brother
It's apparently so good
would you mind elaborating a bit?

Suggestions for headphones? Preferably the same price or cheaper than DT 770 Pros while also being a little base-heavier than the DT 770 Pros (I don't like how much bass the DT 770 Pro lacks)
what price range are you looking at? prefer closed or open back?
considering they want bass heavier than the dt770 pro which is closed back, it would have to be a closed back to be able to do that
Preferably the same price or cheaper than DT 770 Pros
Also I'm a male (guy, man, not female, etc.)
Well not necessarily, many of the beyerdynamic cans are considered to be more sibilant. You can get plenty of bass in open backs

I don't know if I believe you
Maybe the fiio ft1? It's kinda classy with the wood back
I might look into those
I didn't know Fiio made headphones lol
Ooooh they have a 4.4mm
Yeah it's kinda neat that they include both types of cable out of the box instead of needing to buy balanced cables separately
Though balanced headphone cables are kinda not needed
They are only useful for harder to drive headphones
Overall the SNR for headphone level signals would not have any issue with getting interference that is audible
Hey guys, this a really good deal or nothing special? Wife is looking for a good TV to play her switch on:
https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-48-class-b5-series-oled-ai-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2025/JJ8VPZTK9F
Oled,120hz and a good size looks like a good deal
Looks quite solid as long as 48" is big enough for your viewing distance
It's $50 cheaper fairly regularly but I'd say it's discounted enough to be a good deal. The b5 isn't super bright though so if you have big windows/lots of glare you might want to try to find something else. The higher end ones like c5 and s90f will be a lot more expensive though and the g5/g6 and s95f are stupidly expensive.

I accidentally clicked the mic while looking for why the power wasn't on in a desk at my college lmao

Is there something wrong with my space bar switch? Theres a different springy noise. (It was the D switch before i swapped them out)
it does sound kinda scratchy
might be worth taking the switch apart
assuming its a hotswap keyboard
should lube it if you have any lube around
i dont
Which do yall think is the better mic Wave 3 from elgato or the hyperx quadcast 2s
Prob wave
are those your only options?
Not really but ion wanna spend over 150 and want a sleek looking mic that’ll fit on a lp arm
mf said "ion" 💀
Anyone know a good monitor arm that can hold two screens (27" & 24") and can fit a 4" thick desk?
tmi, "ion wan spen ver 150"
Thanks. I was wondering how I could've made it worse
ty. i was wonderin how i cve made it wors
https://a.co/d/0aTKOZN2 I just bought this and had set it up for a 32” and a 15” monitor
and can fit a 4" thick desk?
I guess you could do 4" with your own longer bolt for the grommet method
its a larger c clamp than desk shows
anyone use a big ass tv as their pc monitor? I’m using a 100” tv for mine 😂
r/tvtoohigh
I'm considering getting the MSI 321URX 32" 4K QD-OLED. I'm so curious if anyone will put it on sale for Memorial Day.
It'll be quite an upgrade from dual 24" 1920x1200 mons.
anyone know good monitor settigns for the ROG strix XG27AQDMG
yeah just make sure its at the highest refresh rate
changing other settings is purely opinion, set it to what you like
whats a good xbox one controller that's compatible with pc windows 11? preferably wired or wireless with a dongle, not looking to sell a kidney for it
if you just want an Xbox style layout and don't need it to work with an Xbox, I reccomend an 8bitdo ultimate 2C
Wireless with 2.4G dongle, hall effect sticks, some extra buttons
And it's like $25
Seconded @bold crescent
I love mine
Will never go back
is it xbox 360 or xbox one style?
I have a Nacon GC100 wired but it's giving up I think, a small area on the joystick doesn't work
That’s the wired version
But still

Was wondering if anyone of you all might know a server for asking about old IBM hardware? I got some old powered speakers from 1998 that I got in an old hardware lot that are missing the power adapter and it doesn't show anything around the barrel jack about its voltage or polarity.
Looks like it's 9v according to the service part listing, but polarity is not mentioned
Looks like outside is negative and inside is positive
I searched up the sku for the power adapter
Thank you, will try to find a generic replacement on amazon with those specs. Trying to complete a retro look with a d1025tm crt monitor.
did it finally drop full
what
XG27AQDMG
last thing i rmb was seeing it on sketchy sites
XG27AQDMG or MO27Q28GR
cus the price points similar and is there a big difference between them?
they're two entirely different panels
but should deliver a similar experience anyway
oled is still oled
but the gigabyte looks to be a better choice
it's got tandem oled
Thank you
I found one of these for 400 is that a steal/ good deal?
pretty good, if it's legit
I'm using Arctis 7+ and my power went out recently when and it came back on I could here my headphones turn on but couldn't here them turn on along with no audio. I tried re installing the usb port drivers but it didn't work. Any might now the solution?

Bought a smart watch from a seller yesturday at 10pm. I then noticed that the watch was cheaper elsewhere, so I asked to cancel it at 11pm that night. Today the person said I have to do it myself, to which I replied I dont because I didnt have the option. Then I asked him again - I want a refund, and 3 hours later he shipped it and replied with "sorry, already shipped".
I bought it on newegg.

Hello, with most new gaming PCs coming out without an option for optical drives other than by external hookup, I'm stumped. I have a Samsung 4K UHD television as well as a new Samsung 4K Ultradisc HD Blu-ray player for watching the newer 4K Ultradisc Blu-ray movies as they come out and was looking for an option to watch those same discs in the intended 4K format on my pc. I'm looking to either have a company build me a nice gaming pc or end up learning to build my own. I found a Pioneer 4K Blu-ray internal optical drive with Ultradisc HD playback on Newegg but wondering if anyone knows of an external player that would provide the same experience for use on pc?
I am tossing between the nVidia RTX 2080 ti or the nVidia RTX Titan for the gpu of the new sytem
Could always buy the internal drive bay adapter
Basically turns any internal drive bay into USB
The nice ones use usb-c
Then any PC case you want would be available to you
Oh so that basically makes an internal, external and safe for transport and storage when not in use?
Would that still support 4K playback though?
Yeah
The drive wouldn't change
And if it died
You could buy a new drive only
Wouldn't need to buy the external adapter
Well hell might just get 1 of each USB and type c for flexibility, thanks for the tip about the adapter
Thanks for the part lookup. I question however the transfer speed of data being converted to USB though
Sata to USB
Eh. I never had issues
K, cool, ty again
my keyboard died
can someone recommend one under 30
from a good manufacturer and decent warranty
and what you describe doesn't really exist.
cheap / good / decent with warranty
lol
Can't go cheap if you want good
A good keyboard is around $60+
And $60 being the start
so.. anyone have any idea why one of my USB devices is going dumb and not identifying?
it's my USB 3.0 extension cable, aparently
@calm cobalt Are you looking for just a normal keyboard? gaming? mechanical? I can recommend a 10-keyless mechanical for ~$40
mine is fixed, thx for the help
ok im deep in the "getting the best for me keyboard" hole and I need help.
what exactly are you trying to figure out
mechanical, memchanical, or membrane?
Mechanical for sure. but i dont want a esport looking keyboard
gaming or office lookin
i almost got the G613 but the keyscaps fonts are stickers!
well whats keeping me is the huntsman/blackwidow
but i feel like those are way too expensive for what it brings
i have the razer blackwidow or whatever from a few years ago, a friend gave it to me even tho i dont like razer but it was free so yeah
I stream on twitch and i dont want overly load clickys but i enjoy tactile
what cherry brown classy keyboards are you aware of?
just search cherry brown gaming keyboards on whatever site you're using
hm, ima keep it since i dont have the money to waste on any more peripherals
my first razer mouse got some shit bolt or whatever knocked loose when my idiot younger brother brought his fist down on it
like the K70 from Corsair i hate it but the Blackwidow Elite has me druling but it doesnt have dedicated macros or even programable ones
and my old fuckin 25 dollar logitech mouse that i sold to him has been dropped and i fking kid you not, about 40+ times
it can occur once a week usually
then the keyboard i got for free, the some keys lighting got messed up and glitchy for the first month and that made it razer EVEN worse for me, but i havent seen that since luckily
but i got my g502 hero
no complaints
original?
well it was before the updated one so maybe
so the proteus spectrum
is a good onE
hey man, that logitech keyboard sounds promising
but if you dont like loud keys, go for browns
i got it druing the hype. and it was a great blind buy
the gRomer tactiles are like browns i just read without the bounce back
ye
aight, find three that are your favorite, then go from there, gl hunting for one man
yeah i need to do that.
i got the Razor Lycosa i need to finally upgrade
this thing got to be 10 years old and still works
i personally live and die by simple is best, ive been using cooler master keyboards for like 10 years now, currently on the masterkeys pro s
simple and tenkeyless is all i need
and i still use the quickfire rapid i bought ages ago, cooler master makes great keyboards
I use the Rocat Nyth
Any suggestions on a good mouse for someone with a claw grip, preferably grippy sides as I have clammy hands and a hot house so sweaty hands are sometimes an issue
I really like the grip of the Razer Lancehead, it has rubber sides, though not sure how those may work with sweaty hands, but it's definitely grippy @random plover
I like my k70 keyboard 🤷🏼♀️
k
im looking to upgrade to a corsair k70 mk2 rapidfire. I have a razer chroma right now. Do you guys think its worth the cost. ($130)
@cerulean knoll
so.. who wants to help me sort a keyboard issue, it's a Logitech G510s
So the customer support guy was not useful. So much so he sent me here.
I wanted a mouse pad for the G903 Lightspeed. I found the mouse pad the pairs with it but I wanted to know if it will charge anywhere while it is placed on the pad.
I mostly what a mouse pad that will charge the mouse and my phone at the same time. With out have a single charging zone like most have.
from what I can find, the logitech Powerplay Mouse Pad will not wireless-charge any device other than the supported logitech wireless mouse.
if it's a matter of how much of the total Powerplay Mouse Pad area that will charge your G903, the mouse will charge anywhere on the mouse pad, but there are likely to be dead zones on the edges
That is fair
So there isn't any mouse mad that can charge the mouse and a phone at the same time is there?
That would be easy
then do that
you cant charge a phone with a mousepad.
even if that were possible, wirelessly charging a phone is miles slower than just plugging it with its charger.
I don't care about speed I have it it never drops past 43% anyways
still, charging a phone with a mousepad isnt possible
im pretty sure
just use a wireless charger FOR the phone
wont be on the mousepad, but it'll charge "wirelessly" as you want it
There are wireless charging mouse pads they use Q1
and somehow i never heard of that
well, i doubt they would make a mousepad that would charge both your phone AND your mouse
if so, then you can google them
I've tied
theres a corsair one that can charge a mouse at the same time
yeah, I still need a good mouse though
well, unless there are some people who know about wireless mousepads charging any mouse and phone at the same time, i cant help you
help him out then bud
Hello new friend
So many mice out there and I cant find the perfect one I am looking for
hey
narrow it down
weight, shape, customizability, buttons, wired or wireless, rgb or no rgb, gaming or not gaming.
you gotta consider all the options, find the options you prefer, do your research, found out what mice have your specifications.
RGB, Gaming, Wireless, side buttons (both sides), as long is it doesn't look like a transformer
logitech g pro is a good mouse
g703 is good
what company are you looking for
how much rgb
like a logo and some other rgb
or like throughout and very noticeable
whats you price point
yeah
theres some factors i didnt mentioned since there are so many
tell us the highest you'd pay for a mouse
compony doesn't matter. RGB around the seems and logo, $100-$180
then you should get a g pro
Do your research and look at the reviews and videos about it, decide whether or not this is a good candidate you would buy
It looks too basic IMO
does it have to be a wireless mouse?
because I swear by my corded G502 Proteus Core.
there is a wireless option, but it's twice as much as the wired
I mean it doesn't really have to be. I don't want the cord it get caught on stuff like it dose now
depends on what you look for @midnight halo
you can get one of the most advanced wireless mice for 50 bucks.
really? which one is that, E-knock?
i want the g502 lightspeed instead of my g502 hero
corsair harpoon rgb wireless
1ms corsair wireless technology
you can see the videos if you'd like.
wireless is as good as wired nowadays in 2019, and people are willing to spend some extra bucks to go wireless
if only i had the extra money to upgrade
I'm probably backwards on that, I prefer wired over wireless and it's not a budget thing.
that Harpoon looks pretty nice but it seems like it has too few buttons
Imo more than two side mouse buttons is too much
But that’s just because I play the claw grip or whatever you call it
I ended up going with the G903 W/ mouse pad
my switches on my g903 are dying
i want a logitech gpro wireless now.
oof
Glorious model o worth it
any cheap 60%-75% rgb keyboards nowadays? Need one but not looking to spend like $100
all i found is the tecware phantom which might not be the worst idea
Check out the Havit Pro RGB on Amazon.
It is one of the few keyboards I have been able to type on even without super low profile keys. It feels very natural.

Can you make different profiles @unborn shadow ? Or can it be fully rgb
Yeah I believe up to 5 profiles and each key can be set to a different color.
Ok
Question anyone know why my razer death adder 2013 is no longer picking up on my older windows 7 machine after hooking them up on a kb/m switch? The keyboard picks up fine but the mouse is only working on the win 10 computer
Anyone know of a mouse like this one? http://www.bloody.com/en/product.php?pid=10&id=204
I want the two left and right click buttons. Can't find anywhere that sells this mouse that isn't in the middle east lmao

@random plover
?
i would say something like the g900 or g903 from logitech for if money is not an issue
or the razer basilisk
cna't help you with the seconday r/l clicks though
not the basilisk
yeah, I've seen plenty of good mice but I'm really trying to find something with the extra l/r buttons
razer lancehead
lancehead would be my choice if I can't find one
logitech g903 has 11 programmable ones
been looking at it too
depending on your dominant hand i would recommend the g502\
i have it
almost as fast as wired
Sorry to interrupt but, my head set recently broke and I've been looking for a new one. I'm choosing between the https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Headsets/Wireless-Headsets/HS70-Wireless-Gaming-Headset/p/CA-9011177-NA
The CORSAIR HS70 Wireless Gaming Headset provides exceptional comfort, superior sound quality, a fully detachable microphone, and up to 16 hours of battery life. Compatible with CORSAIR iCUE
The VOID PRO RGB Wireless headset provides exceptional comfort, epic audio performance and legendary CORSAIR durability to deliver the ultimate gaming experience. Compatible with CORSAIR iCUE
I don't like a lot of side buttons because I always have my thumb on the side of my mouse as I con't palm it
waht hand is your dominant
but those are all mice that I've looked at as good options but before I get one I'm seeing if there's any with the secondary buttons I was looking for
right
i would honestly recoment any g503
2
that sensor is amazing
pwm 3366 or the hero sensor
waht mouse btw
what mouse
do yuo think is the best at this time
I don't really know to be honest, I hear a lot about the logitech g pro
and the g 502 is talked about a lot too
ok
g703 lightspeed
if you don't care about super light
it has lightspeed wireles
and it's very ergonomic
it's also a very light mouse though
there is also a new hero model
that looks more like a mouse I'd use
im looking for a cheap mechanical keyboard and of you use this one and like it? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAI2TXC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2FK9EP27A6ZE6&psc=1
Redragon K556 btw
That one is fine, my little cousin has it and I’ve used it before
@unique tusk my last redragon keyboard broke
the s key stopped working which is a big no no for gaming
it lasted awhile tho
the switches felt good
Yeah ive been using a $10 logitech forever lol still do really well wanted to try mechanical
most keyboards going to be hit and miss with breaking, Redragon seems like a well built cheap mechanical but the Razer Stealth is also on sale for $90 right now
Do it, there’s no harm it’s not a huge investment and you’ll get a good amount of time out of it until you find your next keyboard unless you stick to it and really enjoy it
yeah saw they had one that came with a crap mouse i have a razer deathadder that has worked for like 8 years
why I was kind of leaning towards razer stealth but $90 for a keyboard is alot to me lol
ok so what is a good cheapish corsair keyboard?
how much?
i think i paid 160
maybe a bit less. but i have all corsair stuff so at that time, i thought it was worth
its a good keyboard but there are always places for improvement
K63 is the cheapest cherry red you can get from corsair.
but i think their other keyboards are cheaper and if they are made the same as this, they should be nice keyboards
how llong have you had it for?
also any decently cheap monitors
preferably g-sync
and 75hz
cheap
gsync
pick one.
or hgihter
LOL
does it HAVE to have gsync/async?
eh not rly
first person shooters? it might make your delay worse
little more than a year?
i just got a free mou-ibp003a mouse and i like it but the scroll wheel is kinda janky
anyone know if this is something that can be fixed?
when i try to use the scroll wheel it kinda just scrolls up and down sporadically
hi, i would want to know what is the best mechanical keyboard from corsair?
K95 with silver/speed switches
rgb strife with silent switches.
I personally use the K70 LUX with MX Speed. honestly anything with the Speeds will be great for gaming (unless you NEED a tactile feedback, then go with Blues)
I think browns are better than blues too because they don't have the abnoxiously loud click
But I also feel like you're missing out on the mechanical keyboard that doesn't have tactile feedback switches
you cant say a switch is better than the other
it is solely dependent on your personal preference lol
That's true, I've just never met anyone that didn't eventually get annoyed with blues
if you like loud like me you'll go for a blue, if you dont, maybe a brown or red or y'know
ill always love the click of blues
it just gives me the feedback that i want and need
I can't say I've noticed a decrease in feedback when I switched from blue to brown
But my travel keyboard with reds is definitely a big difference
reds feel too hollow to me
subjective
Is the black ducky same as the new pure white
are mechanical keyboards worth buying?
it's a better typing experience, but a lot of it's subjective and preference
this video does a good job explaining it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps5DEeSBl5s

you bet
Anyone use the mousepads that go under keyboard and mouse they worth it or about the same?
cheapest mech keyboard with numpad?
@round bear I like the RedDragon keyboards they are actually mechanical and work as good as high quality ones. Most of the ones cheaper than those are membrane keyboards.
I have a cooler Master that came with a mouse. The keys are quite nice, I forget all the specs.
I had the red dragon before but prefer Eagletec cause its easier to clean and basic RGB lit keys. I ended up buying another for a friend.

that's a great choice as well
I have the same desk mat that @wary veldt has....I love it as well
it's amazing how many features those cheaper mechanical keyboards have
i use this one for work
because i got it for $25 over christmas
ooooh....does that come with a numpad version?
those look pretty clean, heard issues of them being hard to clean when they aren't open why I orignally went reddragon
tbh, i haven't really had it get more than a little dusty
but that's purely anecdotal
@wary veldt I was able to get a 2nd red dragon yesterday for $43 on woot, having used both as brown switch mechanical which would you choose between the 2? 😛 https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-K556-Mechanical-Keyboard-Aluminum/dp/B01NAI2TXC/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=k556&qid=1560867937&s=gateway&sr=8-1
@round bear if you want a quieter mechanical keyboard that velocifire on sale he shared is a good deal
y
@round bear well costs lil more but heres one at newegg then https://www.newegg.com/p/32N-0003-00064?Item=9SIAJ7W91W1284
someone halp me plox...I need an extended mouse pad that is between 34 and 35in I can only find ones that are 31.5 and 35.4 in
yeah most ive seen are over 35 seems like the sweet spot lol
that ones close but has 2 phone holders
@random plover can mostly only find leather ones for some reason at 34 lol
@random plover
nice

Thoughts?

Anybody wants a discount code for Razer gaming periphs lmk.
What do you guys this about the ROG Strix Flare? I’m getting it in a couple of days and i just want some opinions based on what you know
I actually have a Corsair K70 @wary veldt
Oooof, it's so nice.
I love it.
My WPM hit around 110-130 on it.
damn
It's just so nice to type on and responsive.
what switch
MX Reds?
Cherry Red MX.
called it
LIterally the best.
Niiice.
the keyboard is absolutely GORGEOUS
ikr
And the keyboards never flex, which is so satisfying.
i guess the only thing that corsair could improve on their keyboards is their stabilizers and keycaps
other than that it's 10/10
Yup, and honestly, even taking that into consideration, 9.5/10.
ikr
I wouldn't ever buy another keyboard brand.
When mine goes out (haha, sorry I'm a comedian) I'll just buy another one.
lol people in the ducky server say that corsair keebs are garbage
i also once commented on a video saying that i went from a blackwidow chroma v2 to a k95 platinum and then some random dude started talking smack to me because of it
If you buy those terrible corsair keyboards from walmart, you're just asking for a terrible keyboard. That's kind of the territory.
those guys are pretentious af
the other people just told him to stfu lol
They're cheap an easy.
i mean those guys are the actual enthusiasts
they don't like RGB which is absolutely ABSURD
i'm a huge fan of RGB
in fact i'll be replacing my RAM to some corsair vengeance pros
i also have a question i asked in #cpus-mobo-and-memory that has still not been answered yet either
what chair should I get when I get money?
depends on budget, really
and do you want an office type chair or a racing type chair?
that kind is on sale
I am around 1.75m tall
or if my conversions are correct, around a little over 5'7"
last time I measured myself.
what's the difference between "racing" and "office"
racing chairs have what's known as "bucket seats"
that's an office chair, it has the more standard oval back
racing chairs are more ergonomic
are these chairs you're showing me firm chairs
or are they a mix of firm and soft chairs
it doesn't really mention firmness or softness that i can see
any suggestions on a new mouse? I've been using a logitech g900 for the past 3 years and I love it, but now the right click is starting to act up
you have a budget?
not really, I like a quality product
alright
get the g903 with the wireless charging mousepad
or get this if you like razer
I'm a bit biased against Razer, I've never had one of their mice work without issues for over a year in the past
and I've had 2 deathadders and that mmo mouse, forget it's name
the Naga?
Naga Trinity has done well for me always
i'm deciding between 3 headsets to get: razer nari ultimate, steelseries arctis 9x, or hyperx cloud mix
Honestly can't go wrong with any of them
cleaned my setup
before:
after:
got those cables under control
i literally used command hooks, command strips, cable ties, and scotch tape
psshhh who needs cable routers
Daaang, look at YOU
That's good work.
I need to buy a nice surge protector.
I have too much expensive equipment hooked up on a garbo surge protector right now.
Ive been looking into keyboards and was wondering if you guys have any recommendations? Im currently looking at getting a Corsair Strafe v2 with silent reds.
Lol ok I wanted silent reds since Ill be in college and dont want to get my dormmates annoyed, though I was thinking about getting blues, they have this special click
if you don't want annoyed dorm mates, don't get blues
Yeah they are mega loud
My friend got the blues and theyre something else
Though I really dont know much about mouses
YES @lone spire
I have the strife rgb with silent switches
loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it.
a mouse is really personal
yea, any mouse you get you should know how and like the feel of it. the dark core RGB I have has kinda grown on me lol
@young vine I think I just like corsairs peripherals the most, aura sync is preferably one of the best programs
yeah, glorious george over there needs to calm down
corsair's programs aren't...spectacular
I was thinking of getting the logitech g600
great choice
I dont know I like it
then that's all that matters
Also I use a lot of blender so I though getting the g600 would be a useful addition to my arsenal XD
Im not super good at it but ive made some poly stuff
Though my pc isnt the best for rendering anything
Ive been looking at amd and motherboard combos mainly ones with the ryzen 2600x since from the stats ive seen it preforms better than like the intel i5 8600k
wait for the ryzen third gens!
Don’t they won’t really impact the 2600x
Closet micro center is a 10 hour drive from me
I got s MX red keyboard, nnice and soft 😃
I just went on a trip to Canada and that was a shorter drive
What did you need from there?
Too be honest if i go there ill just probably build my whole pc there
Just order the parts online
After all what im looking to build is a streaming pc
What’s your budget
Razer DeathAdder 2013+6400DPI,4G, Essential PC Gaming Mouse at NeweggFlash! On NeweggFlash.com, you get the chance to save as much as 75% on practically anything you’d like to buy.
around 1k
that sucks couse they are havind a deal on ryzen
47% off
you can build a great rig for $1k these days
2019
$110 for windows 10
Newegg is really good for online parts shopping
Lol thats almost the same as my build @hollow storm
You could get like a better gpu or cpu with 1000
and amother 30 off with mobo bundle
The thing is that i found a combo for the 2600x on newegg for 250
I was going to probably get that
that's a great deal
With 1000 you could get i7 but that’s your choice
Yeah but it’s a little better
it's not enough to worry about the extra costs
True
i would say that intel would be better for streaming, but they are pretty similar
AM4 is also far more upgradeable
you'd be able to drop a 3000 series CPU in that board no problem
Then you could also get a 2060 or better then for a gpu just as long as there isn’t any bottlenecks
@wispy surge I also wanted to do things with multi core processing
yeah, the 2060 pairs up well with the 2600x
But is the 2060 any better than the 1060 6gb?
yes
Much
by a long shot
Oof I havent looked at anything over the 2000 series
The 1660 ti is like 20-30% better than the 1060
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB vs GTX 1060 6GB (i7 8700k) World of Warships - https://wgaffiliate.com/?a=2736&c=4692&s1= Games : Assassin's Creed Odyssey Battle...
with the release of ryzen things have gotten to be very close to each other processor-wise
Oof
Yeah my eyes hurt
Imagine having a 2080 ti SLI but a pentium cpu

thats like having a 4 cylinder mustang
😛
that is such a major bottleneck that im not sure there is a neck
Yeah the neck just falls off
@hollow storm then you probobly have two stolen gpu's
amd did me dirty now i got to build a pc in July and September 😩
Wow call me a thief
hahaha

My dog got its hair all over my case the day I got my pc
i think you mean it's the dog's pc now
how does your dog get hair on your pc?
The pc is black and he sheds a lot
but
He’s a boxer so he will fight you with his paws
did he jump on your pc?
lol
Idk how he got hair on it there just is
seems legit
so my audio just stopped working on a test pc and i have no clue what happened
Ive been troubleshooting it for the last hour or so and i still dont know whats up
should I buy this monitor?
This is my monitor that ive used for a couple of years and it hasnt failed me
A couple nice features it has are 1 pretty cheap 2 ips 3 good size 23.9"
@jagged pewter
thats a good monitor
but the one I'm getting is cheaper, and 75hz
I know, this was probably already said, but if you going to be running games like plane simulators, and cading you should look for higher res at 75hz. but yeah that is a good deal on a display
Anyone know any High Hz TVs?
Ty
lmao
Any one here? Im looking for a dual setup monitor. Both around $200 or less and 144hz. Doesnt have to be the same model. So far Ive been suggested Aoc c23g1 and the msi Mag24 series. Anyone have any other opinions/suggestions and why?
sorry $200 EACH or less
so does anyone here use MSI mystic light for their RGB control?
do you ever have an issue where it won't change anything until you restart? I try to change everything via the All sink panel, and I try individually, but it won't change anything until I restart and try again
Mysticlight3 btw
did you try them individually
yep, still the same issue
weird cause when i hit apply it just changes right there
when did you download mystic
Before i only had corsair stuff so i used iCUE
its no longer installed
idk you can go to MSI support on their page but i don't really know what's wrong
yeah, thanks anyway
np
Looking for a large wireless mouse via a usb dongle that can also be used for gaming?
Is the Corsair Harpoon a good mouse?
yeah
Can $30 get you a brilliant gaming mouse? Corsair seem to think so! Join PC Centric for the full review of the Harpoon RGB... Amazon Links: US: http://amzn.t...
can someone send me a link to a amazing gaming pc
that has a budget of about 900 to 1 thousand
what do you mean by gaming gear
@brittle mason https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16883230424
you can get a ryzen 7 with that budget, but if you want prebuilt, this one that matt sent looks ok
yeah, you sure can https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xzrptg
even witha 2060 as well
more RAM and a bigger HDD too
i mean, it's not a bad rig at all for $979
so i upgarded the pc https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4yDncY
go with a 2700x tho; otherwise you're just downgrading
the 2600 is fine
Yo can anyone recommend a good high refresh rate 1440p monitor? Planning on getting one soon and want to see what people think is best.
