thank you
Np
whats the difference between an ATX full and an ATX mid tower
they look the same to me
Full towers usually have room and standoffs for up to extended ATX boards
Personally, I like the fractal design meshify c, and the meshify 2 if you want room for bigger coolers
By bigger I mean something like this https://www.techtoyreviews.com/arctic-liquid-freezer-ii-420-cpu-aio-water-cooler-with-420mm-radiator/
Just whatever you do, don't get a case like the H510 that has a solid front panel
Corsair 4000d airflow is v nice imo
Yeah im using corsair 4000d airflow its great for temps and cheap too
is anyone currently using a 4000D airflow with a top mounted radiator? I want to switch cases but I want to be sure about ram clearance
depends on the size of the rad and what ram youre using. a 280 rad youll want some more room and have some more lower profile kind of sticks. if its a 240 you should be fine unless theyre some really high sticks of ram
this is a 280mm with tridentz that barely fit
Alright, what I have right now is team group dark z which is kinda tall
if yorue using something like corsair vengeance or dominators, thatll be a problem for 280mm and possible a 240 since for whatever reason most corsair ram just doesnt like to work in corsair cases or corsair aio's
found a build that actually uses a 240 rad and it works fine with corsair vengeance rgb ram
so you should be fine unless those dark z's are taller than corsair vengeance for whatever reason
be surprised if they are
They’re tallest at the corners which is awkward
Well that’s good
And bodes well for if I want to go even harder on Corsair theming, lol
weird pic and bad angle but theres a decent amount of space considering theyre vengeance rgb pros which are notorious for being tall so if they fit, yours will/should fit

Good deal?
Not bad
Thought so but wanted to be sure. They're running out of stock rn.
@opaque axle im using 280mm top one and i couldnt fit a rgb ram in there so went with non rgb
I'd get em while they're hot cause there's only 4 in stock now.
alright, I want to put a 240mm rad in the top position so I think I'd be mostly okay
Yeah 240mm you will be good for sure
I just wanted to go with 280 for extra cooling but 240 will do good too
what psu would y'all recommend?
For what system
for my gaming pc
I just saw I have a 500 watt one and would like to upgrade it.
I saw this one but not sure if its a good deal
A bit overpriced. Segotep 650W is more than enough
From amazon?
Yeah you can get the segotep on Amazon
Hey I have questions my psu smart zero fan should I turn on or off
I let my PSU use its "eco mode" where the fan turns off when it's not needed. Sometimes that will affect things negatively but it's pretty rare.
Yeah I'd leave it on
Thank you
Is it worth going up to 750 watts ?
For what GPU or system?
650 will handle a 3070 no problem
750 is for 3080 or better
Well dont say that
Bc you def want a 750+ for a 980ti
750+ for a 690
And that’s not “better” just higher teir for the gen
980Ti had meh average and transient power loads
Could run off a 550w if CPU wasnt HEDT
Well def 750+ for a 690
You get my point
And i use a xeon testbench so
Kinda hedt

@jagged scarab buy this one its the best
I will see
Okay but u won’t get good than this its the best price 🤩🙂
modular version has no reviews
don't recommend
what
@fallow cairn it's the modular version that has all the reviews
sg-g doesn't have many reviews
gp-g does
but luke said sg-g was the same platform as gp-g
SG-G is the same as GP-G
Ye
different naming schemes
all the reviews I see have the non-modular version
what

it even says it in the review
does not have a modular architecture
all the reviews you sent me are non-modular units

hm
this is on the modular one, but yea

Its fully modular and 80+gold
@elfin trout can u suggest me a motherboard which is good than msi z390a pro under 140$
And which is shipped by international shipping service
Its good u can buy this n also its cheap
wat
Ik that's why I told u
SG-G and GP-G r the same thing
Yes
wait wtf lmao
Shall i buy that now or no?? Segotep one
google translate converts gp-p to gp-g
uh
yo wtf r we looking at the same review

yeppers
😋
Can anyone suggest me a good motherboard than msi z390a pro under 140$? For i7-9700k
probably none of the others are <140$ atm
suggest one which is shipped by international shipping service bcz some r shipped by Marketplace Direct delivery which takes delivery pricd
So there r no good motherboard than msi z390a pro under 140$?
They're usually ~150$ for zxxx boards
Do u even live in the US
These 2 r good than msi z390a pro?
No i dont
Check this out on @Newegg: ASRock Z390 STEEL LEGEND LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
@elfin trout hows this??
It can be shipped without delivery fees can u check it than tell me how is it
Hello I built a PC a little while back and just went with a budget case ( Compucase HEC HX310 ) and I am having issues with heat. I have been advised to replace the case with one with better airflow and I was hoping to get some suggestions or advice. I have a gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard and a Coolermaster 500W power supply. I was looking at the SilverStone Redline Series SST-RL06WS-PRO because of a case review but I wanted to be sure before I bought something i regretted. TIA.
I would like to stay around $150 or less if possible, but if it makes sense to spend more than I am not opposed.
oh thats a great amount
you could get a P500a or P500a digital for that money
I personally like the P500a digital because it comes with quite a few extra fans
all RGB too
@real vessel
Oh nice. My main concern is keeping things cool and healthy, but the features are nice too. Thank you.
something something Coolermaster probably
they're gp-12's iirc
like how many and how big they are
yeah two
ok
one in the front and one in the back
how big of a case were you looking for?
and you wanted expansion for liquid cooling, correct?
p500a, 5000d airflow and meshify 2 have nice expansion
meshify 2 like this one a lot
P500a bae
if you just want air cooling then a 4000d airflow, p400a, meshify c, meshify 2 compact, and 275r airflow
they do look clean tbh
will the 011d do fine wuth airflow until i get my wc
no
unless you have 9 fans
ik, i plan to wc. just not right at the beginning
coughs in Razer Edition
4000d airflow/4000x are looking good and good cases
Yes the txm is A tier
dayum ok, its pretty cheap in canada rn
what psu is that?
I like corsair stuff mostly, i have their headset/mouse/keyboard
its a corsair
4000D Airflow more than the 4000X tho
Yeah i know its better im using it but some people like the glass in the front and the 4000x still has some air coming from the edges of the glass
also isn't it like $130?
Thoughts on Lian Li 215?
It is comming with 3 rgb front fans and build in fan hub
So it is worth the extra 30 for people that like the glass
I think its decet cheap and has good airflow
Yeah I think it’s a great budget case 🙂
I might get it for my first build. But I dunno if I should put in extra money and just get a p500a digital
It is a great case too
The only think I don’t like about the 215 is that the holes for the cables are far from the mobo on the right side
Also doesn’t have a hole for the gpu cable on the psu shroud
The Phanteks P500A PC case is a high-airflow focused enclosure that follows-up the P400A previously. We're benchmarking it versus the other best cases for airflow right now.

Thanks 🙂
Np
I did some research already. I really like both. But just can’t decide if I want to spend more hehe
well the P400a is $40 less and better airflow so yeah aesthetics ig
p400a is way smaller
what was the good corsair series gpu
They did a 1080 and 1080ti with water blocks if that's what you mean
@normal edge what wattage, what budget?
And meh, all of them mean nothing in terms of quality
Good old stuff them in the back if the non-mod wires bother you
Well im going to be doing Asus x570 F-gaming with a 5900x and either a 3080 or 6800xt. 32 gb ram
and plan on adding water cooling
curiosity: why X570-F?
Mb they just want the extra room on chipset lots of m.2 drives?
how many m.2 ports on that thing?
Dual pcie 4.0x4
isnt that the same as most high end X570 boards?
pretty sure thats how my X570 TUF (arguably the best X570 board) works
Im guessing, and I also personally like the board
thats fine
the X570-F is still a great board
I personally prefer every extra inch of performance, so I like the X570 TUF
what performance does the Tuf have over the F
slightly better VRMs and thermal performance, mostly
I believe the PCIe bus is slightly faster as well but I would have to check that
hey @opal night , what was the name of that one overclocking website?
which one?
How so
They have a razor edition in the xl?
I believe so
P400a is big enough for a majority of builds tho. i've seen too many people getting the O11 for their 3600 and RTX 2060 and then blowing $600 on 9 LL120's and an NZXT Z73
nobody buys an 011 for the performance and space efficiency
they buy it because it's pretty and you can see all 9 of those fans
and then they make all the fans exhaust
^ fr bruh smh
isnt that how a negative pressure case is supposed to work?
negative pressure is bad
forces air in through holes that don't have filters or anything = dust
i hope those people on instagram fix their fans after they take their pics, if not then smh
Ql120
Lets you have pretty build but no stinky neg pressure
rgb fans are either good but expensive or trash and cheap, there's barely any in between tbh
you get what you pay for
is the 011d stock setup neg pressure
or are they making it neg
What do you mean?
It does not come with fans
i mean there's no stock fans so
supposedly the best setup is bottom and side intakes, top exhaust so positive pressure
so people are just doing it because they want the fans to sit on top of the rad
and blow out
yeah some people are dumb and want the fans front facing all over the case, and then make it all exhaust smh
for ✨a e s t h e t i c✨
i assume rear is exhust as well
rear is only on the XL
oh and the Mini
the original O11D doesn't have a back exhaust tho
the xl is the one i want
bro why, it's huge
i got room
lots of empty space for a majority of setups
so why not
and it's like $200 no?
i mean it's your money and all, but imo there are better cases
O11D is so overrated
4000D Airflow is good yeah. 4000X is meh but not horrible
it's a standard case sure. O11D has wack airflow but its meant for multiple rads so makes sense
plus i inted to do a custom loop
like a bottom to up but also side
4000D airflow POG
hmm u sure? they're costly
so air cool is not my priority
and soft tubing or hard tubing?
hard
damn bro do u even know anything about custom loops?
hard tubing takes a lot of setup and prep
not for a beginner
try 3000psi stainless tubing
Reason: Bad word usage
hmm
i wish u luck. ur definitely gonna need it for a hard tubing custom loop
lol
i worked in aerospace and have had to deal with 3000psi test setups
for aircraft units
everything was custom
only thing i might have trouble with is getting use to bending the tube
not entirely sure if the two are similar, but if u feel confident, then sure. just do ur research ig
with heat right?
probably will just need to heat it up
and bend it
make it softer with heat.
then it can properly attach to fittings
you have to have something to insert into the tube
i think there are tools for bending it exactly 90 degrees
to keep it from collapsing
heat and bend
i got a 3d printer
if i have to, ill design something
might not be perfect, but better than nothing
stainless was easy, use a tubing bender
ive actually thought about using stainless, if the thread types match
O11d xl is dumb unless you have multiple GPU and or watercooling
airflow looks atrocious.
thats 2 different cases
i plan on watercooling
lol, can't even find pictures of top vents, only side vents
still oof airflow
and overused. Feel like its similar to the h510
Just how much its overused.
maybe its just me, but im not a fan of most of the current designs
the 011D performs very well with airflow, it just takes a good number of fans to fill it up.
More fans does not always equal greater air flow kek.
Thats like saying I can max out the h510 with 20 fans will have better airflow, not if the air has a choke point.
I want to see someone try that
that was already done with the h500
showed that adding intake fans didn't improve temps
maybe very well is saying too much but you can watch a review. https://youtu.be/YmYcKg0x4bw
Lian Li worked with XOCer Der8auer to design a liquid cooling case, but we tested it for airflow anyway. The Lian Li O11 Air is coming out next.

it's big and it's pretty and that's the point
pretty much/
Spending more time looking at your parts then actually using the computer
or equal parts, who cares
now i gotta figure out what psu i want
Will a noctua nh d15 fit in a meshfiy 2 compact?
Fractal says it is compatible with up to 169mm high coolers and the d15 is 165, should fit
Whew
@normal goblet just remembering you may have to move the fan up on the d15 to clear your RAM. I bet you'll be ok, but you should look up nh-d15 ram clearance and your ram specs. If you have to lift your fan you may have an issue mounting the second one
Ok lemme check the clearance it’s like 32mn right for Mac ram height
Each RAM module is different, iirc the d15 provides 35mm of clearance without moving the fan up, but I recommend checking the spec against your ram
DH15 is big brain
iirc it has a clip to adjust for any size ram
up to 64mm in single fan mode
Heyy I’m looking for brands for PSU Extension Cables? Which one are good that I can find in Canada? And preferably the budget ones 😬
Will a 6700xt run on 600w psu? 600w is what i have atm and wondering if i manage to get a 6700xt will i have to upgrade
its tdp is like, 230w max near 2080 wattage, so 650 minimum ig
Damm really? Cuz I'm only running it with ryzen 5, put into pc part picker with a 6800 and it said the wattage would be around 435w
AMD says 650W
You MIGHT be able to use a 600 watt if it's a good quality one
Don't trust PCPP wattage, that's only base clocks.
Ahh okay the power spikes would be too much then :/
Possibly, peak power draw was just over 300W
I see, just gamers nexus's results said about 230 or 260
Wait how do you measure ram where do you start?
The manufacturer should list the height of the module
or you can measure the height yourself
i have a teacher named ms brauer lol
No relation 😆
Err I have dell ram lol
So they don’t give ram for that
Ram Height
Is not available
measure it yourself then
Ok
My ram is 30 mm oh god
30mm should give you more than enough room
The d15 has 35mm clearance default iirc and you could even lift the fan a bit I think
Doesn't one of them use a clip?
there is a big brain noctua cooler
where you can raise the clip to any height
the one on the front can be raised iirc
Ah 32, I was thinking 35 for some reason. Both use a clip and I think both can be raised, but there isn't a good reason to raise the middle one
to make it look even prob
Both can be raised
SAMA Sama-3D Black Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Computer Cases - Newegg.com
Is that a good deal?
Same friend says it’s good
Same
its normally that price iirc, and the fans are static, not RGB, which sucks
Ty I kinda don’t care for aesthetics as much as I do performance it’s usually the same price as the h510 and it comes with a mesh front panel and 3 fans all I need to do is buy like 2 fans for exhaust and I’d be good
probably dont even need exhaust
@barren sparrow watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpz7YfGxS70
The Newegg listing for this case lied to me. I feel betrayed. Unforgivable.

can someone help me find a case
You'll need to be more specific. What size? What budget? What other features?
like the man said, what kind of motherboard are you getting and how much are you willing to spend on just the case (or the whole PC)
well i dont want to go overboard w a case just one thats gonna have good airflow @opal pendant and idk what mobo to get either
well for ATX cases, there's the Neo Air, P360a, NR600, and LANCOOL 215 all for $80 or less. for mATX, there's the MB311 and NR400. depending on how big your motherboard is
but i'd figure out the rest of your system before looking at cases
Corsair icue 4000x good?
it's good if you want airflow and rgb
i'd rather recommend the p500a digital, it's about the same price iirc
The digital version includes 3 fans with an aRGB controller that connects to a single 3 pin header. The fans will have to be powered by either the motherboard or a separate fan controller.
Any one got any ideas for a similar cases to the NZXT 510i but with better airflow? Simple design basically.
I think corsair 4000/4000 airflow looks nice but if you want something that looks similar i believe there's a deep cool one that looks similar
That's the one i was thinking of couldn't remember name lol
My wife has this one currently. Not a massive fan of it. However. I haven't seen that Lian Li 205 👀 ngl looking pretty good
IF I can find the Mesh version >.<
They have it in stock at my Microcenter!
They're prob getting a lot

any suggestions for a SSD side mount
as in, a case with side mountable SSDs..?
i have a case but also need a ssd sidemount which appears it doesn't come with one https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/masterbox-mb511/
hm
unless i just screw it into the side?
ah yes I forgot the manual was blocked for me
yay
Comes with mounts you screw in there
just remember
DO IT BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE MOTHERBOARD lol
cuz MB covers them
they really could have better designed that if your adding a ssd later..
Looks like another mount on PSU area
Ya the one that came
Ooo I get it now  thanks normally they just give you parts I didn't that detached at first. Now I get it thsnks
It is spammed too
Is the Corsair SF750 platinum enough for 5950x 4.7ghz oc and a rtx 3090 strix oc stock?
I'd recommend a 850w
Yeah but there isn‘t any quality Sff Psu
With 850w
Optimum tech released a video where he powered a 3950x and a 3090 with this Corsair sf750
You're going to oc the 5950x tho
IDK about 300, that's probably full system. More like 150W or so with stock boost clocks
Okay that's efficient, but I think that the Corsair SF750 should be sufficient
I'm not going to overclock the 3090
If you don't already have the psu buying a psu with some head room will save you from having to buy a new one when you upgrade your system if the power requirements go up again
The problem is, power transients on the 3090 can hit north of 500W. SFF PSU's don't have the best protections so there's a decent chance you'll trip the protections.
hmm
sf750 has full protections and would be perfectly capable of handling a 3090
OPP is set at 967.3W
so no chance of tripping there
Anyone know where u can get replacement front IO and rear pannel for a NZXR H500i
is Corsair just trying to get me to buy cables? the SF series ATX are so short...
Okay thanks guys @opal night @unique pilot @fierce pivot
np
and @snow spoke
yw
actually it can't
Not enough capacitance in the secondary side
Interesting nice one for the info
I will test it when my case and the sf750 arrive.
I mean if it shuts down, I will undervolt the 3090
Why aren't any qualtity 850 sff psu's in the market? That's some bull....!
There are there's just a psu shortage cuz of mining
Yeah I just saw the CoolerMaster V850 SFX Gold psu
okay but what 3090? 3090 PLs range from 350w - 500w with transients being even higher (esp EVGA cuz dumb VRM design)
That should've been stated within that post. Otherwise isnt really a good post to go by
for all we know it's a 3090 with modded BIOS and having a 650w average load on it
I mean it is the Corsair's head of psu r&d, if anything he knows what he's talking about, he was also likely referring to the Founder's Edition
Many issues come from assumptions. There is a good assumption that it isnt some 650w BIOS modded 3090, but there really isnt much for making a good assumption of it being any of the standard models that range in 350w - 500w
Could've just said 3090s in general to not deal with PR issues that may just be caused by the high PL 3090s, less complicated statements make it easier to defend. Tho if it's only high PL 3090s then that's an issue that 99.99% of the time wont happen with a SFF PSU.
Hey guys, I’m looking for a budget 550 watt psu for 3600 + 1660 super. Any recommendations?
Im going for 550 instead of 450 for some headroom
Unless 450 is enough? 😬
I currently have an open box 500W evga 80+ bronze psu if you want it haha
hmmmm
I'm sure 450 is enough. I can run a 1070 and an i7 6700k on 500w
Mwe is probably cheapest of the the options
segotep gp700g iirc was 90 last time i saw it on pcpp
Im from Canada btw
ohh
So its more expensive here
Oh okay
Mwe gold seems like the cheapest option atm $99 cad
Should opt for 450 gold?
Is there even a 450 gold
hmmmm i think no
iirc most gold rated psu only goes 500w minimum
just from what i've seen
Yeaah it looks like it
Looking like 550 mwe gold is cheapest option here in Canada atm
Thoughts on XPG Core Reactor PSU?
Anyone got any cheapish (not cablemod) psu extensions they recommend? my usual ones are for some reason are taking 2 months to ship :3.
cables from asiahorse
Exactly what I bought. Only 3 8pin(6+2) I could find on amazon. that wasn't super sus
Every time i see r9 3900x i pray someone would just take one 0 off
R9 390x2
Sketch level 100
Is that brand name Xfinity?! Did they find another way to spy on me?
what would be the best wattage psu for a 10700f and a 1080
650w will do
Anyone have a suggestion on a mid white colored ATX case that will fit a large GPU and a Celsius S36 that comes with RGB somewhere in the 100-130$ range with good airflow?
@small matrix try TD500 mesh white
Should be 100$
There's also lancool ii mesh that should also be 100$
I can highly recommend that case
So nice to build in, tons of room, excellent airflow and fantastic cable management
Nice I think that ones the winner so far
will a 600w be ok?
What Phantteks case is that?
P500A with the vert GPU mount
Just regular P500A, not Digital
I think it's around $100 still
NIce! Looking to upgrade my build and was looking for a new case
Man, one of the nicest cases I've built in
Especially for $100
Not a lot of room for hard drives though
I went and bought a prebuilt for a starter and want to build my own now
I dont have a p500a but i do have the evolv x which has a similar interior and can also say cable management is great in phanteks cases.
Anyone know how easy swapping out cable combs on psu extensions is? I want to get black extensions and silver combs without paying the ridiculous prices cablemod has.
I bought a set from Asia Horse. Not sure if they have silver but it was easy to set the combs on them
anyone?
Which 600W exactly
for a 10700 and a 1080
and will it be ok if i remove the power limit of the cpu
cause i can affird a better one if you can suggest one
10700k or regular
reg
600 should be enough but not a lot of overhead for overclocking
The 1080
Preferably yes, if you plan on maxing out power draw
suggestions?
yoo you got techie 😳
sheesh, that's nice
Has anyone built on the Lian Li 215. I really want it. But can’t stand how far the cable holes are from the motherboard bay. 🥲
Will 600w be okay for r5 3600 and an rtx 3070, just ordered gpu, already have rest of parts for a while, wondering if I'll be okay with 600w, i think i saw something saying it's 550w recommended?
3070 recommends 650W but if the 600W is a quality unit you'll be fine
You'll be fine
that setup won't pull that much power
400W between CPU and GPU
if that
Thinking about starting a build with this case/PSU. Anyone built USFF and have any advice? https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811108485
Great, thanks
What specs?
That psu won't support much hardware
150 watt meh
Ya, no discrete gfx but supports 65-watt CPUs
Just buy separate case and decent psu for that price
Well semi decent at least
The A30 V2 Mini-ITX Case from GEEEKstore .com looks noice tho
@stray berry Not bad for the $, I'd just be concerned about good airflow
Phanteks p300a/p360a
If you want a case that looks like nzxt h510 but better airflow yes
thanks
np
Go for nr200/p if you want dgpu
Thanks! Ya, that's an awesome looking case but I'm always looking to go smaller. Something like A4-SFX or Node 202 catch my eye.
Yeah it’s a bit large for a mitx
It's definitely a budget case but looks pretty good for the $. Lacking cable management rubber grommets and re-usable expansion slot covers, but has tempered glass side and a nice mesh front panel. 👍
tysm
you got it
I mean 'no problem' lol 😄
Looks fine to me but be sure to look over the reviews
What're you looking to put inside it?
how do i know if my case supports vertical gpu mounting?
It'll have [usually] two vertical oriented expansion slots on the rear next to the horizontal ones
For what size motherboard?
whats a good case for micro atx mobos
Do you want cases that just do mATX or would a regular ATX case work for you? What budget?
^
Td500 mesh, Lancool ii mesh, Metalicgear Neo Air
I'd add Phanteks p360a to that list also
500dx is decent.
just wish i could get it in canada
Just saw it being used for a build in a YouTube video. Looks good for cable management.
GN review on it

be quiet!'s Pure Base 500DX mesh-fronted case is finally out, following the previously released Pure Base 500 with a closed panel. Tests include exhaustive thermals, noise, & more.

retooled case
I liked it
Has that material quality that can only come out of germany
Some really cool stuff in there, and temps are pretty good
I got mine for free so I am in love w it
Nice, free? How'd you achieve that :p
Lets just say some people tell you to hang around people smarter than you
And lets just say I dont do that
And lets just say it has benefited me financially
@vocal tree
Nah, buddy just ordered the case, watched one lukewarm GN review and then immediately bought a new one while it hadn’t shipped yet
And his mom didn’t want 2 cases in the house
Sad thing is the system I built in it can’t utilize all the front panel goodies
Yep, feel ur struggle.
I'm gonna transplant it into a H18 Versa so I'll have missing I/O
Being sketchy xeon CEO has its drawbacks
All the x79/99 boards have ancient tooling
Even if new
Not to mention socket 771
Sorry i kinda went to sleep
771 was the HEDT socket for xeons at the time, but was only a physical restriction. You can mod 771 xeons for 775 @vocal tree
Add holes and the strip
Interesting
best airflow case for around 60-80 bucks?
One sec I can 1 up this
P400a
here we go-https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wJm3nL
Oldest thing I have is an Athlon II
like in the modern sense
¯_(ツ)_/¯
242 pins?
besides the obvious...
Man
Oldest thing I have is a pentium 4
Oldest I have is Sempron I think
My wife has the first hyperthread Celeron in her "vintage gaming" PC I built for her
Oldest CPU i have here is a 486 DX
I have a mid 70s Hammond, and a Conn 635 Caribe, transistor organs
Not a pc unless you're an organist tho
where can I buy a be quiet silent base 802 blk w/window??? sold out on newegg and amazon. any other safe ideas where I can buy ?
If your psu stopped working one day and you got it replaced and works fine. When that psu stopped working, can it damage components overtime like your motherboard
Sometimes PSUs will bring other parts with it, yes.
Sometimes it will and sometimes it won't
My FSP 280w didn't
A TT Smart probably will

where can I buy a be quiet silent base 802 blk w/window??? sold out on newegg and amazon. any other safe ideas where I can buy ?
There's one left on amazon, out of stock everywhere else

German based company but they don't charge extra for import fees and such. Featured on jayztwocents a few years back.
They sell a lot of water cooling things too
does the nzxt h510 support corsair h100i elite?
yes but only in the front of the case
yes probable
look at the messurments
do you know if the fans will face the inside or behind the radiator
YOU CNA CHOOSE
oops caps
oh okay lol sorry my first build
i might sound confused
Kk
sorry I am back
er
Help
How do I know the fans are compatible with my Power Supply
fans usually have nothing to do with the psu unless you're gonna be powering them with the molex connector (which i dont reccomend)
usually you'd plug em into the motherboard or a fan controller
never heard of the case before, not sure if it comes with a fan controller or hub
Hey, anyone have any leads on 4u rack cases that are short depth, like 15" - Can't find this in stock anywhere: https://www.newegg.ca/black-rosewill-rsv-r4100/p/N82E16811147263?Item=N82E16811147263 @midnight mortar
Any good cases with a lot of air flow
4000D airflow is one
Yer that will do any other ones
Reason: Bad word usage
oop
oof
someone recommended me a bestbuy case around 80-100 dollars
that can support 240mm aio
@tranquil gulch why does it have to be best buy?
i have 100 in bestbuy credit
$95
I wanna get Lian Li Lancool 215 but I keep doubting myself 😕
why?
Hmm 🤔 mainly the fanhub isn’t that great.
But then again it’s a budget case. I’m just doubting 🙇🏽♂️
can someone help me on choosing a correct power supply?
@modern arrow What's the rest of the build?
Why do you need to upgrade your PSU?
old
Either way give part list of full system
Do you own all of the rest of it?
yes
Let's see, Corsair CX, CX-F, TX-M, Phanteks Amp, XPG Core Reactor, and Seasonic Focus Plus GX 650w are all options around about 100cad
There's probably more, but those are what I see so far
CX and TX-M are non-modular, so those could be ruled out if you really want to
can i go with a 750w one for future upgrades?
You could if you want to
650w works great for the current system though.
It's extra money you can choose to spend
amp 750w are oos in Canada so
What are oos?
out of stock
nvm was blind, but core reactor 750w was in stock
Should I go for Lian Li 215 or H500?
Core reactor, 130cad
https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_1938&item_id=183350
CXF, 110cad
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08FVJ7MGK
Focus GX, 135cad
https://www.vuugo.com/seasonic-power-supply-SSR-750FX.html
XPG CORE Reactor 650Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified Fully Modular Power Supply (COREREACTOR650G-BKCUS) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07Z8J1973/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZEWNW3BDJT4MNJQ2KTCH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
@scenic lance Basically, 215 gets a bit better CPU temp, H500 gets a bit better GPU temp on stock config, your choice
🤔
Assuming Coolermaster H500
Mhmm
Because NZXT H500 goes in the can behind you
That’s overpriced
i mean youre paying for the gold plus u can get that 750 watts for possibly 90 bucks cheaper
i think on other websites its cheaper idk
check best buy i think they sell good PSUs
I think if check the pins on here, there’s a tier list for PSU’s
That one is popular for a reason
Yeah it’s good
That's my power supply. Can confirm, excellent quality.
99% chance you won't ever see the rgb on a power supply
ik
Unless you don’t have a shroud
Even then, most cases are bottom mount, fan down
whats the difference between the rmx series and the rmx series from 2018?
for the corsair power supply
Then you can use the rgb as underglow lol
Not really any tangible difference. Both are top tier.
i see
Just don't buy anything that's not 80+.
And don't buy anything with ketchup mustard cables in 2021.
Its time we move out of 2002.
nDeed
Much
Hi can someone help me
sure
sure
Custom Gaming PC - 10 years of award-winning Custom Gaming Computers & gaming laptops custom-built for PC gamers. Build the best Gaming PC at iBUYPOWER
yes tahts it
mt only prebuilt problem is parts quality
unless you go to configure on their website which gonna cost a lot
hm
at least they are in stock
it looks like it's got good components
Seems a bit expensive for what it is, 800W PSU not needed
^
i cant choose not to have soemthing ;/
yee
so is it worth it?
imma check other websites rq, to see what they have
I changed the PSU but it only went down $10
i c
.
IKR
Depends on what it is tho
huh
Honestly, if you want something like, the Corsair One is a fantastic option but it's not cheap. Also the NZXT H1 now that the PCI-E mount is resolved https://www.nzxt.com/products/h1-matte-white
@civic spoke try NR200p or TU150 as reasonable options, actually smallest would go to something like velka case 3
NR200p kinda similar to razer tomahawk case
Thanks mate
Super Flower, Seasonic, or Corsair power supply?
I had a super flower ordered and it was stolen in transit
1000w 80+ titanium.
I need a recommended replacement because they're sold out.
did they reimburse you?
Yes refunded.
