Yes, they're honestly really good cards, especially compared to previous generations. Nvidia wins with DLSS and RT, but their standard rasterization performance is about on par with nvidia and they have much more vram. That would make AMD 6000s good choices for 4k and VR.

Best bet there is to look at the specs for the 500a and either measure it out in your space or eyeball it based on how much bigger the 500a is than your 400a
