I was helping a friend replace a PSU that had gone dead and so we got an old replacement of mine, it’s an 850W, which is a better improvement over his 500W. After we had installed and plugged everything in, it turns out that the PC wasn’t detecting the GPU, even though the PCIE cables were plugged in and the GPU lights were on. So after many reattempts we discovered that when the GPU is taken out, the computer runs faster, at startup and opening programs, then when the GPU is left plugged in. We have no clue what to do from here so hopefully some advice can be shared.
If it helps the Gigabyte 2080 has two blinking white lights whenever it’s powered on. Any tips?

should be around 700usd+100/150 as an oc brand version to qualify as msrp
