Manufacturers (ASUS, Gigabyte, etc.) utilize their own PCB’s and then use the Nvidia chip to create a card, let’s say 3090, and they use their own heatsinks, fans, etc. Is an Asus/Gigabyte 3090, that is liquid cooled with a custom block, still more effective than an Nvidia 3090 FE with a waterblock, or does it become essentially the same, despite having different PCB’s?

FE model 30 series is basically nvidia being their own AIB. They made the reference design, and then ignored it completely, and it turned out to be a really decent set of cards compared to other AIB models.
Adding a full waterblock to the FE is basically the same as an AIB model with the block already, and probably cheaper to do the custom loop than the waterblock model.

That's an expensive hobby. I only have a 10-22 so far, but get to borrow better boomsticks a lot.

Like I'm not judging the fact that guns are your hobby. I like gaming and I brought my PC overseas when I deployed. but carrying the PC was a lot different than actually using it ya know?
