30 series still demands an unreasonable premium, mostly because of the precedent set by both increased msrp and morons who usually scalp shoes on stockx
the 2060 is seeing a re release with 12gb of vram as well
may be reasonably priced
could possibly get a 980ti as well for well under 450
sheeesh
not bad, that sits below a 1070
i would wait for the 2060 re release though
we dont know the price yet, but stock is supposed to come in sometime this month
or next
google seems to think 363$
that would be crazy though for them to be higher than the 3060
I'd go for a 2060 for resale value
They're selling it for 3060 price, better at mining at 3060, it's already released but has no MSRP
oof i hope thats all just speculation
or do people have the card and have tested it?
we need intel to come in clutch this year
low cost, low power gpus
but make a literal MILLION of them
then nobody would even care to buy any other card from amd or nvidia
just depends on how intel is able to source their parts
feels like we should already be there
It's so pretty. But it's probably a scam
not really
with the eth hack the 3060 is a good bit better than the 2060 im fairly sure
Ebay has the best scammer protection of any selling website tbh
Ebay will almost always (99%) side with the buyer for issues like card not being what it says it is
Not really what
not a scam
itll probably get bid up to something ridiculous
But I've never had one
yee i had a 1080fe for a bit
sold it to a friend when i got my 3080
fe
next i get 5080fe
The 20 and 30 series Fe cards look so pretty too
nvidia simply makes good looking cards
I was always fascinated by the Vega 56, 64 and the Radeon 7 cards, always kinda wanted one lol
I’ve heard the Vega cards are more for content creation and the Radeon is a 4K monster that competed with the 2080Ti
eh
vega cards were kinda meh for even that
but they go nyoom in compute
same for the vii
Like normal gaming?
If I was to upgrade in like 6 years I’d be split between a current card or like a Vega lol,
Mm
vega 56 was like 1070 perf
when it launched
also amd being amd
sometimes you can make it a 64 by flashing bios
if you have the correct vram
Would you guys agree that the RTX 3000 series is the best there is?
I’ve got an RX580 now which is from that era
and you're lucky
Having a discussion with some friends
@obsidian whale depends on what your doing
cause amd just disables the cores to make lower bin stuff
For gaming
1080P, 4K?
it depends on what you do
1440
radeon 6000 is about as good in normal gaming
Yeah
How so does it depend? I'm curious
well, on your budget, and the deal on the gpu you do get lol
also if you want rt or not
radeon 6000 is meh in rt
and has no dlss
A top tier 1080P card is gonna perform different than something designed for 4K
I have a 6700XT and it does good enough
Would it work good on a 1440
6700XT would be my upgrade choice lol
it can easily do 1440p too
but no dlss so a bit of a bummer
then again 3060ti is so hard to get
at a reasonable price? yes
Let’s be honest, nobody these days can really find anything above or afford anything above a 3060TI lel
2000 and 3000 are RTX
Lol I was going to pull the money for a 3090 but like I can save so much more just getting a 3060ti
Ray tracing Is a kinda a toy for the Rich rn imo
Ahh I meant that yeah lol
rt is more affordable than ever, well if msrp is even possible
which isn't in this time
It’s not
I saw a vid on ray tracing and from a performance and visual perspective it doesn’t look worth it
I think Linus did a vid on it
depends on game
i do not trust linus
at all
🧐
Linus is ok, but that's it
RTX depend heavily on the game but you have to see and try it yourself to have your own opinion on it
I tend to watch more like Hotnews or whatever
Can’t remember what his second channel is
What do you guys think of jay?
I don't pay attention to linus so dunno
Linus and Jay are channels for entertainment
Jimmy Fallon of camera men?
Really high power usage for what it is. 10 series from 900 series was 1 of the best advancements in both speed & "power" use.
I like watching people who do fun builds like Tech by Matt
Linus is like a gateway drug into channels like gamers' nexus imo
if i win newegg shuffle in canada will i get it shipped here
just wondering because shuffle is only an american thing
No
can i use the t600 to game and if i can is it any good
Its decent and you can use it
ty
Gpu won’t post but fans spin what it wrong everything is plugged in correct as well
Try another cable or try another display output on the gpu
New pc or working before?
Working before and I bought a used 1070ti but it won’t work
I plug my 570 in same condition and it works
Did you make sure the 1070 ti was working?
How do I make sure it works
Well usually you get them to show you a video or something of it working or you meet them in person with a test bench
But ehh try clear cmos
Make sure all the power connectors are plugged in
Bought it off eBay and it was shipped but Going to send it back idk faulty card maybe
You try this first?
And different cable/port on GPU just in case
But sounds like bad card
You can have it shipped to someone you trust in the states, then they can ship to you. That's about your only option for shuffle specifically.
Does Canada have any import taxes for those kinds of things? If so you may have to pay those too
Do you think I could set up a trade of a 5700XT to a RTX 3060/Ti to a crypto miner?
I might do that.
idk why they would even trade a 3060ti for a 5700xt unless you offer money on top of that
whats the cheapest place i can find a 2080 for in this market and also how much fps does it run on fortnite and Minecraft
anyone know any good but cheap gpus
depends what your definition of cheap is
5700XT is better for mining. Hence why I said miner, not gamer.
Lower Wattage Higher hashrate than an LHR 3060 Ti.
50.33 MH/s vs 43.01 MH/s
and 30W less power consumption.
~56-58mhs at 90-95w
oh yeah i forgot abbout lhr
I’ve been summoned
someone pinged hwbot ;-;
Whos hwbot
Any 30 series is so hard to find it’s not even funny
The overall gpu market, not funny at all.
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pny-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-12gb-xlr8-gaming-revel-epic-x-rgb-single-fan-graphics-card/6454318.p?skuId=6454318 this has been in stock for a while but it’s a bad deal so no one wants it
How’s that third gen Intel treating you @ivory herald
Not as good as we'd like, but not as bad as you'd expect.
I’m just geneuinely curious as it’s 10 years old
The worst part is 60w doesn't heat up my room this time of year
no way
It beats a few of the builtin cinebench cpus on single core mode, just sayin
lol
I have a 5600X and RX580 plus Toaster Oven so I get my room a little warm but it’s not really noticeable
@ivory herald 4770K killer? 😂
My pc is almost like an ac
No, but very close to 4670 or w/e they are. I'm running 4GHz so it's not bad.
I mean it's better than scalpers but single fan :/
I bought a p400A
Can I bake cookies on it?
2x12pin connectors 😭
It's like gtx 580/680 all over again, but more power
Hold on a second, is that a single fan on that? Christ
Aio
It's a hybrid. There's also an AIO
Oh wow
Someone should make a cpu aio w/ small heatsink or hsf built into the water block lol
Like the rog Strix hybrid, except the strix has a blower style fan while this one is a regular fan.
HSF?
Heatsink-Fan
Oh how did you manage to get ahold of a 3090 btw
I'd pick the blower fan hybrid over the evga one tbh
Are you like god or something
Tbf kingpin has an official bios on 3090 for 500w and an unofficial/unsupported by warranty or something of 1000w
Noones uses that abbreviation or calls it that tbh it's just called an air cooler/tower cooler really
Nevermind it doesn't
Huh?
Mine was in stock on Newegg in a bundle.
Also am I the only guy here that likes how reference cards look?
No
Oh nice
I like all the reference cards. Especially the older blower fans 1000 series gpu's
Never had one though
I like the single blower RX cards and the new 3000 series with the 2 massive fans that make it look like a VCR tape lol
Ye
this s*** better have a loaded GA100 die
i hate nvidia
Reason: Bad word usage
I’ve heard Nividia is up to some fishy s*** lately
If not referring to LC/aio, people should save the typing or be quicker and just say HsF. It's a 20 yr old acronym also lol
if you're only gaming, I wouldn't worry about an RTX 3090. I'd get a 6900 XT, the Formula is really good but it looks like its price went up. @rich cedar better investment unless you're doing productivity on it. Ie; Rendering, streaming, etc
Ye^
yeah sure vram whatever whatever
Gaming highend = 3080 ti or 6900xt whichever is cheaper. which at this point unless you get lucky with a best buy drop should be a 6900 XT.
these cards gonna be irrelevant by the time 12gb vram isnt enough
But a whole 8 more tensor cores, 2 more rt and 256 cuda 😤
Don't yell at us if you waste money on anything "above" the 3080 Ti
The formula is back at its original price 😦 1900$
For gaming*
sadge
2 grand
1550 for one of the best 6900xts was hawt
I can’t say I will ever spend that much on a GPU unless I win the lottery
true
The good news that it went up is that I won't be tempted to buy it anymore
Phantom gaming 6900xt for 1600 is still aight tho
probably because why buy that when you can buy this https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6600-xt-rx6600xt-clp-8g/p/N82E16814930062
screw 6900xt we got weeb 6800xt
I want a waifu card just for the luls
I wonder what the lowest sort of income someone would have is but still drop $1k+ on a gpu
stimulus check
I had a job, but the first stimulus check I got I bought a PS4 Pro and a 2070 Super and some games.
I support that. Might as well have some toys, especially if other stuff is dealt with and not going in debt for them(by using the stimulus)
most of my income last year was untaxable so I don't think my tax returns will be a good amount 😦
Wasn't paying taxes on it initially.
cause combat zone = no income taxes.
but I guess that means I should be under the poverty line so I should get all my taxes back that I paid while working afterward.
So then I think its better than I thought. Sweet. might be able to build the APU/LP GPU build I wanted to.
Sure high tier gpu prices are crazy, but it's neat to always glance at how much performance we could get at various prices, say, $400-600 (vs in the past). Minus current times.
Radeon 6400 is the GPU I'm thinking of in March.
Maybe 3050/3050 ti/6500XT depending on pricing, size and benchmarks.
Gonna build it inside an Xbox Case, either Xbox One, Xbox 360 or Xbox original. Xbox 360 would be APU not a dGPU due to size constraints. I want it in a Halo Themed Xbox cause I'm too lazy to paint it myself but might change my mind.
That's pretty rad. If 3050/Ti is like 3060/Ti then we'll say skip the non-Ti, but we'll definitely see how things go. I'm gonna switch out my 1080, but not until after having the z590 setup a few months. Not outside much this time of year anyways.
Well the 3050/ti laptop are almost same perf
Today, I'm unplugging my 2nd 980Ti to give to my brother since his dying GPU is getting really bad at this point and the market still sucks buttcheecks. Goodbye SLI
Tbf sli doesn't do a huge amount even if it was alright for gtx 900
I bought this but the 6700XT version it was amazing
I know, but (going by mis afterburner) the games I was playing had pretty good utilization. Still, losing a GPU is way better than him getting ripped off out of necessity.
Anime girl added 15% more fps
Yeah but sometimes with sli even if you got more fps it would be less smooth
Eh, not my experience. If it was happening to me, I wasnt noticing it
is there literally any reason for the 3070 to exist, or is the 3060/3060 ti enough for normies and you may as well go full 3080 for enthusiasts?
the card that has no reason to exist is the 3070 ti
the 3070 is alright
maybe by the time I can afford one, they will be back in somewhat reasonable wait times to get a founders edition.
best buy currently has 20k gpus, trusted leakers thought it was supposed to drop 2 days ago but we havent seen it yet
supposed to come this week instead
i mean I am still broke rn so it doesnt really help me atm lol
F
also talking msrp the 3060 ti is probably the best value card
3060 much worse value
3080 ti also much worse
3090 same boat as 3080 ti
yeah I mean I dont honestly need all that much processing power. I currently have a 1070, and that is still ok for me. I would like something that is a pretty noticeable step up when I upgrade.
1070 isnt much worse than a 3060
1070 is around 2060 without dlss or rtx
3060 is around 2070
I like doing rendering and I am no a huge fan of waiting the ten minutes for it to get done
Comparing NVIDIA GTX 1070 with NVIDIA RTX 3060: technical specs, games and benchmarks.
yeah, i would probably be best suited with a 3060 ti?
probably
which leaks?
im going by a very big discord server im in that does drops
tracks*
ah gotcha
tracks drops
So according to that website a 1650 Super is better than the ||RX580||. Interesting
Also what's the server name?
better than having no gpu
mhm
I had the 8GB version
Ah, what model.
How can one join?
I have the MSI Armor OC
Sapphire was the brand. That's all I remember
Probably Sapphire Nitro
Well more like sparky sparky but you get the point. Now I have a R7 370 4GB
oh rip
Ye
4gb is still good enough
"Micro stutters" with sli was very common.
!ask
@nimble heron
I was wondering, anyone here have an RTX Titan?
Yo is it possible to run 2 gpus on my motherboard?
Ik you can I just dont know if I can with my board
Itll run both cards together?
Like combine the usable vram?
And what about the output slots
Doesn't matter for the most part unless you tried a multi-display setup (3xDisplays). SLI mainly just combines the GPU power so as far as I know it's not like the vRAM is completely doubled also. Understand that there has to be a game "profile" or something that likes SLI, otherwise we get similar if not slightly worse FPS.
Aight cus I have a quadro 600 and it only pushes 1GB of usable and I wanna get a second one so I can have 2GB total
tbh I'd have to look it up, been a while since I read/heard about an SLI setup. Example is SLI 960 vs single 980, I forget when/how the 960 vRAM would be an issue compared to a single better card.
checking.... LuL, forgot what I was doing. Funny how responsive my pc is even w/ this going.
is 2GB a big issue? If not, you can look for a GTS 450 or better. How many watts is the PSU? That could be a factor. There are quite a few possible upgrades that wouldn't need an extra power cable or more powerful PSU.
Yeah cus most of the racing games I want to play need a gtx650 or better
I downloaded wrc9 and it ran at 20ish fps on max low settings
I currently have 1gb
idk what it's like nowadays, but I had a gtx 660 2GB and it was pretty good at the time. oh it's 1 that needs a power cable,
I dont think it has a power cable
I was able to just take it out without unplugging anything
sorry I meant a 660, well mine was. See the circled specs in the pic above? The upper ones match the Quadro 600. Hmm, 650's are looking like $35+, but they're quite an upgrade.
Damn 35 bucks for a 2GB card ain't bad
That top one is a Ti also, but "only" 1GB.
Good point, this is when it's a fine idea to search a ton of different models because prices fluctuate so much
well, cheapest 1 I just found
Looks like it's $40 for a gtx 750 Ti
Yea thats a big step up from a 650 2gb
Like 2x perf
I'll let yall know when I do sum itll just be a minute cus I dont wanna touch my sim racing wheel money and imma have to hustle
of course, but 650 Ti to 750 Ti isn't a huge difference. It's deffo about what price we can find any of these 2-3 cards. Oh, but 1GB to 2GB. Yeah, I noticed that now
True, but 650 Ti is only 1gb vram right? Only the non-Ti 650 got the 1 or 2gb option
Oh, idk, but... ---Yeah, this 650 ti price shows exactly why we have to search a few models that are better/newer. GTX 660/760 would be great, but idk if bruhhh's psu would handle it.
idk. If his psu could do it, 660 would be my suggestion. They're not too cheap anymore.
How do I check my psu?
If you just remove the pc side panel, there's usually a label right on there or a model number we can look up. PC model could give an idea to psu capacity also, but not specifically.
Aight
Wow I'm surprised about 660 Ti being so cheap
well I have it sorted by price and it's got 5 days left . That's 1 of the best
What cpu do you have?
Lemme check
With that maximum wattage it sounds like a Dell pc
its because kepler kinda sucks
Yeah I had to shut it down and boot it up again
🤏
Alot of power burn tbf
Quad cpu Q8400 @ 2.66ghz
Oki
The name was plenty :)
I forgot discord waits until the image is sent 😂
Okay so technically you should have the wattage to run a GTX 660 Ti
5 days and change*. I also friggin said that! also (mid-range) 700 series kinda sucked, 660 was a great card. I still have it as a backup
Ooh I found a gtx 660 2GB performance edition for 60 on craigslist
About the same since I dont have to pay for shipping and theres room to haggle
indeed, 60 would be decent. What I posted wasn't your exact psu, but I figure they're very similar. I'd think the 660 wouldn't hit 192w. You just might need a 6pin pciexpress power cable, or use an adapter that goes from 2 molex to the 6pin on GPU
Is a quadro 5000 good?
Theres a pc with a quadro 5000 for 100 bucks
And it's cheap because theres no hard drives and no os
So couldn't I just buy it and pull the card
It's a little suspicious tho cus its saying it has 96gb of ram
No way someones givin that up for 100 bucks
A 250 dollar card and that much ram?
quadro 5000 is a bit faster than the gtx 650. quadro was more for business type stuff than gaming. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/quadro-5000.c897
For all, here's an enlightening comparison, but ignore the 275 (Jan '09)
Yeah I think the pc is a scam cus theres like 500 dollars of components
YOu said 96GB of ram? lol, maybe it's just super old ddr or something. I probably wouldn't bother because a Quadro 5000 isn't worth as much as a 650 Ti/660 if you're talking just games VS what a quadro card was used for.
hmm,
hmmm what
It's really suspicious
Almost wondering why only $100 tbh w/ that 8core SB, but idk. I'm not to wise on server stuff. I wouldn't by it just to yank the non-gaming Quadro 5000 out of it.
xeon server cpus are extremely high end im not to smart server wise I just know AMD epyc? cpus and Intel Xeon cpus are hella expensive
they are not good for gaming though
At this point I might buy it, sell the parts, then spend that money on a new card
Xeon is basically just more suited for business and 24/7 use (reliability), You can game w/ a xeon just fine I've heard.
Indeed it's funny how expensive these "business" cpus can be, retail was $1550 wtf.
well that specific model is old and bleh so dont, also xeon cpu prices have stayed the same so if you try to scalp it wont work. it would be best to just buy a gpu with the money you would buy a xeon with
i5 7th gen around yeah but for 1500 retail... get a i9 12900k for less than half :D
are they?
cause they're not shared with consumer stuff
oh yeah thats true
That e5 says FCLGA2011
Wdym by scalping?
but if you're lucky with a whole workstation for cheap
then it's good
yeah it uses lga 2011
for some reason I thought you meant buy the cpu to sell at a higher price then buy a gpu with that money
1 AM brain here :D
Nah lmao
Picture said "32cpus" which probably meant total threads* meaning it might have dual cpus.
anyways the lowest costing mobo is $400 which is much more expensive than the LGA1700 mobo
dual cpu tho
someone stuffed some gpu in there
not good airflow for the gpu tho lol
it's clearly not meant to be gaming, but doable if the gpu could do with such cooling
I hate this on many levels but if it isnt being heavily used then I aint gonna say anything
Some of ya missed earlier msgz but basically bruhhhh is looking for a gpu upgrade from a Quadro 600 I think it was. (320w) psu w/ 16A on the 12v rail(192w max technically)
Yeah
hmmmm
I might buy this computer, part it out, and then buy a new gpu with the profit
It's only 100 bucks
send think, I wanna see rq
Send what?
Duck meant link*
Oh lmao
1 AM brain like said

Aight hold on I have to type it out since I'm on my phone
I have typos often myself. Typing too fast late at night and dgaf.
anyways do think they would downgrade from the quadro 600 to a G100???
it has 512mb of vram :D
ok
my suggestion is still aiming for a gtx 660 or similar.
ehhh go for a 750 ti
i gamed on it for a long while and it was great at 1080p 60fps
60hz too
it it really has a quadro 5000 then do it, that alone is worth 250
potato settings on AAA games and medium settings on easy to run games :D
Alright
I emailed the guy asking what ddr the ram is
prob ddr3l or ddr3
deffo ddr3/L because it's a sandy bridge
^
I had a HP pavillion with a GTX 750 ti and ddr3l. Bought ddr4 ram when I was new to the whole pc building thingy
cried
ah bummer. btw 660 is much faster, but more wattage.
it was 8 GB of ddr3l ram (4x2) and i bought 16 GB (8x2) 3200 CL18
ah didnt know
also that GTX 750 ti looks exactly like mine XD
Hey thanks for the help guys, I'll try and remember to update yall on the suspicious 100 dollar pc
its no shipping btw
Yeah I'm local
ight just making sure
Idc if yall know I'm around there lmao
if you meet with the person btw check specs
Yeah
there are 7 B people in this world, i dont think it matters if I know where you are
:P
but Ill make sure to stop by when I visit Sacramento :D /j
Lmao
Oh I just noticed. I'm up northwest about 50 minutes from Sac, lol
Dope
Not as good as some cities, but tons more PC stuff around there than my "small" town/county. I sold a 850 or 860 evo in Roseville last year. Bought it on sale but didnt need it.
im 11 hrs and 13 minutes away from sac :D
lol
How much should I pay for a 6600xt and a 6600
6600 no more than 350, 6600xt no more than 450
would anyone know or have an explanation of why my fps are really low but my temps are still basically boiling (i5 10300h+rtx3060mobile+8gb ram)
like im barely hitting 60 on csgo
on mimimum settings 1080p
Only 8gb ram is meh for gaming
If you're not plugged in a lot of laptops will use the integrated gpu instead of 3060
Laptops are supposed to run hot
usually when i check task manager it says my cpu is at 100% for most of the time
and my gpu sits at like 20-30%
is that during gaming?
your poor CPU is struggling. the solution, counter intuitively to increase resolution and details
give the GPU more work
also, make sure your power cable is plugged in and charging. as has been mentioned, laptops tend to turn off GPUs when not plugged in
yeah
i can tell because the performance gets kneecapped when that happens
one of my friends unplugged my charger so i lost a 1v1 in r6
the fps dropped very low quite quickly
how do you make a graphics card?
One message removed from a suspended account.
One message removed from a suspended account.
I would wait for the new GPU's to launch. 3050/ti 6400/6500 XT. Maybe one will be the performance level of the 2060 if we're lucky
One message removed from a suspended account.
There is a new 2060 being released supposedly this month
3050 ti and the 6500 XT Could be 1660 Ti/ 2060 Level performance. only time will tell.
One message removed from a suspended account.
it's already released a month or two ago
and ofc, already expensive
also rare
You won't find a retail card 2060 or above for less than 800 right now. Brand new
It "released" but there was no stock....
They got snatched up by miners and scalpers
That's not really true. They are not easy to find but there are cards at least than $800 that offer more than 2060 performance.
See Microcenter, Newegg Shuffle, EVGA queue (for those already in queue)
EVGA FTW3 3060 Ti sells for 529$ at Best buy and Microcenter when in stock.
Well game will just look better, no more fps lol
First you design it, gpu itself, board, vrms, etc then you make really good friends with someone at a fab(intel samsung or tsmc) and say pretty please make my gpu
But realistically no you dont
im thinking the CPU will have reduced load, reducing the heat a bit?
Think they're problem was fps not temps
both 😅
Quick question really fast, what display ports does a 3070 have
Or does it not matter
It most likely doesn't matter, what screen resolution and Hz do you use?
yo 3060 ti for 600 get or no @charred raft
Hmm... 3070's go for $700-$750 rn
Ye
BET
Like what version?
another one was 3070 for 700 is that worht the 100
Ehhhhh up to you tbh
Lol nvm they sell for $1k
3070s?
Yea I can't find any online below that cost
reddit is amazing
I should look to upgrade too tbh
I’m getting a Optix g241 and I think it carries a 1.2 display
So I assume I just need a 1.2 display cable to connect to the 3070
You're fine then. The gpu has 1.4a
Which is backwards compatible
@heady turtle he just went down 25 dollars on 3060 ti 575 now
Yep
Ok ty
Msrp is $399, that's a good deal tbh
If you need the gpu
That's a bit sus just make sure it's real
its r/hardwareswap and he trades a lot on steam has no bad reviews @heady turtle
Ahh okay
What model is it?
Look at the back they all look the same lol
The tiny text on the back list the type, all display port cables look the same
hey once i get enough people to commission me for physical artworks i might try to settle for a lower-end scalper
even if it's something like antonline
which is one of the more reasonable ones
not taking best buy into account, which other sources are best for video cards rn?
r/hardwareswap im might be getting a 3060ti for 575 @runic crypt
oh?
That's a 1080p @ 144hz monitor. It will work
i'm willing to settle for 500-600 if need be
So it will work because that's a 4k @ 120Hz cable which is 4x as many pixels
Ok ty
Not bad
That's not even lhr then
Is a 3060 ti LHR worse than a normal one?
not even close lhr is low hash rate
So. . . Bad for gaming?
i dont know to much about it but i think its better u can ask pato or top percent they smart
i not
@heady turtle
Worse at mining, games the same just means more money mining
No
Okie dokie. Thank you.
Np
r u sure abt that
:o hello der
quack quack
Little duckyyyy
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is real, and coming to gamers miners within Q1 2022. The new SKU maxes out NVIDIA's largest silicon based on the GeForce "Ampere" graphics architecture, the GA102, and pairs it with even faster 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory; but these changes come at a significant impact on power,...
i do not believe that
i saw it the other day
I believe it
ampere's power hungry
and it follows suit with a few rumor articles I saw before this
thats more than twice 3090s tdp
#old-monitors-and-tv if anyone knows
Not unless you queue up
PSU has been upgraded and am now using 2 cables for GPU
Time to give the 3070 400 watts and see if it goes boom
Why does it being in french or whatever make it 30x more funny
That + the cat. Agreed
Thnx, come here just to see 2 blocked msgz. Thnx you cursin lame-os
Hi everyone! Someone know a good site on UE from where I can to buy a GPU with a good price? Because is stupid of hight price on Romania
UE?
Europa
lol rx 6500xt at $199
makes me chuckle
a fun giggle
he he he ha
what a fun little joke, a big chuckle
makes me laugh
Nvidia is streaming right now. It's an announcement it looks like
3090 ti???? 👀
yep CES, AMD just did theres, intels is in 2h
hell yeah CES roblox n lil nas x XD
Number one victory royal
Nvidia is streaming on twitch. This isn't CES
It's a bunch of announcements about GeForce now.
In Q2 Samsung TV's will have GeForce Now built in.
lmao
Ah
its CES online just no in person event
Then why'd you say they just did there's as if it was over Pato? 😭
Shuffle is on
Amd was showing technological advancements and Nvida is showing 5 year old games with rtx
250
it was 4 or 8 lol.
3050 Ti was 6 or 12 so we're looking at 12 then huh if its real
Now lets see where the AM5 APU's are priced at when they release
BAHAHAA GTX GAMERS ITS TIME TO UPGRADE TO RTX
HA
OMG
YOU'RE SO FUNNY
Nvidia is CRYING rn
LOOK AT THE STREAM CHAT
if they have an AM5 APU 8C/16T that can compete with the 3050 (none RT) for like 300-400$ that'll be pretty crazy.
ngl if the 3050 stays cheap, then that will totally be a good gpu
yeah that would be sick
hi i have a question about quality in video
some could help me
i ready have a lenovo y50 but is damage and i want to buy a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Laptop
i dont play games but i like streaming
Will I see some difference in video quality?
rtx 3080 TIE
Ti isn't an abbreviation its Ti(tanium) so yes its pronounced that way
cry about it 🤷♂️
3060 ti $600ish
3090 tie
neither will I
god, did you ever maybe think about how everyone spent thousands of dollars on 20 series cards, then you cry for them to upgrade to even more expensive cards? i smell greed
thats gonna be a meme, i promise
Reason: Bad word usage
ffs
20 series prices actually were pretty normal, afaik. Surely wasn't $600 for a 2060 "ti" aka 2060S.
Super models are about 90-95 perf of the tier above them. I'd for sure take an 80/70 is the 70/60S was similar price though. 2080 was $700ish, $100 more than 1080 originally
Depends on the card
usually ti is better than super
super is just a newer naming. So many cards nowadays
super is a refresh
only Ti thats not really worth it imo is the 3070 Ti.
it is if you don't have a 3080
well yeah 3090 ti isn't
I might be able to also trade my FHR 3080 for a 3080 ti apparently 😮
well lol thats like saying the 2080 ti is worth it if you dont have a 2080
you should be getting cash on top of that too tbh
Ye Saw someone looking for a FHR 3080, the the card they were offering was the Zotac AMP Holo 3080 ti with cash 😮 too bad they were lookin for local
nice how much where they offering and what model do you have?
I don't wanna ship it though TBH. I don't have a box for it. its sitting in the 3090 box right now to keep it from being dusty.
a bubble wrap package will do tbh
Zotac Trinity OC Rev 1.0
They were looking at GPU + 500 or GPU + Xbox SX I think
Reason: Bad word usage
Reason: Too many infractions
F
back
WB
im done with the word bot stuff, imma just go elsewhere
i was looking at like a 6600XT prolly
if i ever upgraded down the road lol
so it looks like the 3070 is comprable to the 6700XT
In this market 2080ti launch price doesn't even seem unreasonable, that's what's sad
lol yeah
20 series also didn't push near 400w did they?
Exactly, but I mean at same tier.
hmm so ive done some digging and it looks like the 3060TI is the best price to perfomace? from freaking nvidia????
so, cards ive been tossing around, Vega 56 and 64, the 3060TI, and 6700XT, those are the main 3
Shuffle has a 2fan 60 ti for $600ish 😅
that is nuts
im waiting till prices go back to normal to upgrade
yeah thats fine, i only got my 580 last year lol
You said normal, this is even nuttier. It's not a Ti. I just got mine in June 😅
Prices have gotten worse up until now. maybe they'll start going down now but I doubt it.
i could get something nicer for that money in like a year like you were saying
Might have been better to buy a prebuilt if you were really impatient. there were plenty of deals on them. lol
Like a 6800 or 6800XT lel
Eventually people won't want 10 series as much also, so those prices will go down too
building a pc is pricy... if your not patient
mainly due to the GPU at this current time
I realized I just spent $500ish or more going to 11gen intel
will be exciting to see the 1650 Super prices go down with the 3050 launches
Not ripped off on a 500 dollar pre built still on DDR3 lel
I’m excited for the 3050 tbh
that makes sense. 200$ mobo, 200$ CPU, 100 $ Ram allocated.
Really everything besides gpu is well priced, and besides ram sometimes. Yes Top-P, close lol. Mobo 175, cpu 230, ram 130, had to try nvme 43, case 75 because keeping old pc intact.
I like NVME. less cables
@ivory herald I spent 500 going to Zen 3 lol
I don't want to talk how much I spent. but I built 2 entirely new PC's for Zen 3. the one I had before was not used at all for components.
Wow
😂
I spent too much on two pc's in a two week period..
mine was over a 9 month period that I was deployed so not too bad imo
ces 2022 intel lets go
work paid for half of the two pc's soo yeah
or will be
Yay the guy doesn’t sound like a 3am informercial
I do hate people that talk with their hands tho
It’s distracting
Going new, a pc can only be so cheap. At least we're not picking between hdds anymore, just maybe getting a certain 4-8TB for data hoarding. Watching on YouTube?
Not even sata ssd yet? Well I'll let ya know how the cheapo sn550 does although it'll be a whole separate rig. I could try my extra sata mx500 though, for testing
The great news is nvme is priced so close or better than certain sata ssd drives and it'll only get somewhat better over time. Data center not dealing with 200 cables, lol
Is it faster than SATA by quite a bit?
3 times is common
That's just sequential, but should be overall snappier than sata also. The main thing is getting good iops or "random" specs, i.m.o. btw my current combo is just the 250gb mx500 & a wd10ezex (1TB). Perhaps for the new rig I'll try out sn550 + my 1TB mx500 (it was $160, yikes)
Interesting
Guy doing the intel thing has a new name: Meat Neck
Honestly both of them
Meat Neck 1 and Meat Neck 2
Intel GPUs yet?
If ol meat neck evert gets there yeah
Lmao
Plenty of people care
chuck the cuck 😂😂😂
I care when there's a decent $400 laptop again
Couple years ago got my grandma an Acer laptop for $450ish and it had a decent ssd in it also.
F = fail or what? Eh, that's youtube commenters for ya
They never talked about the desktop GPUs
Reason: Bad word usage
Reason: Too many infractions
Just toxic people thinking gaming is the only thing Intel amd and nvidia do.
"Fkn waste of my time". There ya go
It was like that in all of the announcements
12500/12400ish laptop would be awesome. Crazy that all decent laptops are $700+ nowadays
Because it's a wide variety of consumers.
we all care about the gpus and 12th gen intel
Intel gpus will get spanked by Nv 10 series, that's my prediction
"We all"
Not true. 90% of people don't care about GPU's or 12th gen CPU's. They don't care what's in their PC as long as it works for what they use it for.
oh my god this is such a waste, jfc
Stop watching then?
i prolly will tbh
I mostly care if the pc works for what im doing, though clearly I went overkill for what I do right now.
2080 ti mines better than 3060 ti
slightly more efficient i believe
yeaaaa, that was rough
Not good for upgraders. I don't care about mining. Although many people probably don't mind if a certain gpu was mined on.
imma give it to amd this year, best presentation
tommorow is gonna have some funny videos on CES recap lmaooo
i am actually kinda pissed they never talked about ARC for desktop
I wonder when we'll get an Arc test kit for PC. 😅
it just pisses me off, they never talked about specs and stuff. CES as a whole was quite dissapointing
They talk about specs: people: take those with a grain of salt, it's fake they're doing fake numbers with inhouse tests.
They don't talk about specs: people: Where numbers? 😭
Noooooo
6400 will be OEM only 😭
6500xt is only 200$ though, not that they will be selling cards for that price. So 3rd party decides on that smh
why not just find an oem to buy
Cause I'd have to buy a whole PC when I'd just want the GPU.
LP cards don't really exist anymore. The 6400 is the only current gen LP card and it's not out yet.
Would be just less of a hassle to give up and just cable manage the 6500xt than waste money on a Prebuilt lol
Last single slot card i had was.... 7800 GS, pretty much the last agp card.
Agp?
Precursor to pci express. Accelerated Graphics Port.
Oh
It borrowed bandwidth and/or didn't provide enough, but was plenty for a long time. I had 5 cards before getting one on pciE (8800 gts 512). Being 25-35 is the golden age range for seeing great tech-related changes.
is 3050 not lp?
ah
i havent watched nvidias CES yet
did they say theres going to be both a 4gb and 8gb variant?
Rtx, i5, ddr would've sufficed
We're on QDR for a while now, right?
8gb, no Ti announced yet
Dance Dance Revolution?
In gpus yes, in dram ram noo
I need to see Benchmarks. Cause I think i'll I go quad core + 3050/6500XT or AM5 APU e.e but the only ones that I think I'll get anytime soon is the 3050/6500 XT.
also I should note I don't think they'll make any low tier ITX Mobo's for intel. same with AMD tbh
True, would mess with people more than just buying "3200" ram & in cpuz it says 1600
lol imagine an i3 in a 400$ Z690
If the 3050 is 75 watts it's going to be op
its not 75 Watts
theres literally only 4 LP 1650 cards. so clearly not
I've bought 11 LP 1650s
I think the days of just spotting in a gpu into any machine are dead then
Old optiplex machines need them
might be a decent upgrade for my RX 580
I didn't hear it correclty at the AMD CES event does it have 8GB VRAM doe?
11 different ones? Zotac has 1, Gigabyte has 1, msi has 1, and asus has 1.
No 1650 Super is LP.
When the heck will pcie give maybe 100w instead of only 75?
Ah it's only 4 GB but it's GDDR6 doe.
yeah its only 4gb
Ehhh probably not looks to only be around 30% better than a rx 570
@idle idol looking for an RX580 upgrade eventually aswell too?
mhm
I had 3 cards in mind
What you thinking about.
Vega 64, 3060TI and the 5700XT
mm..
Vega 64 and 5700XT are priced too high on the used market. good luck with that
not in new games. performs much better in Back 4 Blood, RE, Halo Infinite, and AOE IV
They didn't say I'd assume 8gb
Source? They showed and average of 25-30 in the slideshow
for the 6500 XT?
Ye
lowest game they listed here is vanguard at 61 fps 1080p high
I usually get around 38 FPS on my RX 580 in halo infinite
78 FPS Halo Infinite
78 FPS for the RX 6500 xt
and thats high settings
I am pretty much running on low settings
I always wanted something substantial if I was up grading
F ing nuts
Prices are still the same..
I’m not made of money
lol
Hopefully my half brother comes in today and changes out my motherboard that I have in my PC.
one of the 2 slots of ram ain't workin
I'ma snag two 3090TI to SLI for dumb fun
usually my parents rent for electricity is average around 320$ a month
I was also gonna say Radeon 7 but it’s expensive and runs hot and noisy
wait Gigabyte made a blower 3090???
Vot
I like that
😂
Idk why people are buying cards when they are so expensive rn lol
Well that is scalped
nearly 4k
jesus
Exactly
Always kinda wanted a Vega card tho lol, I know the modern cards like the 5700XT would be more worth it tho
I was originally looking at 56 before I got my RX580 but now that I have it, the 64 is more substantial performance wise
I’m not buying anything rn
For fricks sale
Sake
Just giving suggestions
Waste of money especially rn
MSRP was 400 and once the market goes down I hope I can get one for that
I think
Ahh
500
Sometimes the 6600/xt is modest price though. Yes, 3060 ti msrp was $400ish. Whether I "upgrade" or not, just gonna try to sell before value tanks
Yeah, I would try and swing one for 450, a Vega 64
Vega 64 for 450 is a waste of money
I guess when you can get a 3060TI for that prolly

Yeah
like if you're gonna aim low, don't go for a card thats popular for miners
Yea
I thought it was a content creation card
