Okay, I'm curious because my XC3 seems to be mid-tier in terms of how much power it'll use. I've seen it demand 340ish watts before, but it typically maxes out around 330w even when I set it to go up to 366w and its base tdp is 350

I have heard of other XC3s only pulling like 300, and only rarely have heard of one or two getting up to 350 with any consistency

I don't think it makes a huge difference, but it's a little frustrating to feel like the card won't pull what it's supposed to

I have an issue with this new flip that I need help troubleshooting.
Its a Visiontek R9 290x. Its fine during stress tests and whatnot, but randomly my screen will go black for about 3 seconds and sometimes the PC will just lose power/turn off and then turn itself back on again. Whenever these errors occur I get a notification from Radeon Software that a "driver timeout has occurred." I've tried updating drivers and switching them to different ones, but I'm not totally sure how else to troubleshoot.

You can check the techpowerup gpu database to see what the power limit of each model is, as well as stock clocks, and you'll get a good idea of comparative quality.

btw OC BIOS only gives u a more aggressive fan curve which is kinda lame.
