Communication errors can be caused by slow internet, or using tmobile internet (doesnt allow peer-to-peer communication which is required for animal crossing) you can check your internet status in the internet settings on your switch just click test internet. Its also key to mention that communication errors have been pretty common since the update, and it may just be having trouble connecting to the server. If you cant host either, you can ping me in the help chat and I can look up the specific code to find the troubleshoot info for you <3

Each player can only get them once. Only way people would have spares is if they have multiple accounts and completed the tasks to get them

Or if they duped them or jailbroken their switch 🤷‍♀️

But if you’re playing vanilla, you only get them once.

The shovel is a little difficult, but if you time travel, you could do it. You need to help Gullivar 30 times. Normal gullivar, not pirate.

for shovel find a day where gulliver is on ur island and keep traveling forward one day then back 30 times, for axe just get a bunch of flimsy axes and break on the same tree, takes like 2 hours

Also don’t time travel if you have turnips. They’ll rot.

The golden axe and golden watering can are some you have to obtain by yourself, there's no DIY card for those. The other tools do have a DIY card, which you might find on treasure islands
