You gotta make sure that the rod is in front of the fish. And that the stream of the water is in the right direction. The rod can be in front of the fish but if the stream in the water goes the other way. The fish won’t notice. It’s gotta be right ! You’ll get the hang of it

A tip, get nook miles to visit foreign islands where you can scavenge. And then hit the rocks with a shovel or axe. But make sure that your character has no energy. So don’t eat anything. When it’s on 0, you will get the most out of rocks by hitting them back to back. The faster you hit the more you get. Few hours later you can go back to the rock and do the same. The thing is if you eat and have energy you break the rocks. Which sux

There are some people that they dont want you to wear wetsuits or swim in their Island. Probably there are some area that they dont want you to access but you can if you swim/use the beach as entrance. I’m not entirely sure tho.

Yes, every time. I find it really helps a lot if you talk to all of your villagers except for the one you want to leave.

Don't talk to him at all unless he has a thought bubble. If the thought bubble isn't about moving, then soft reset your game before it saves that you talked to him.
Talk to everyone except for Jitters. Tell June you don't want her to move.

After you talk to everyone else, fast forward at least ten days, then one day at a time (again, talking to everyone except for Jitters every day) until you see another thought bubble.
Is her thought bubble about moving? Sometimes it's not. You only jump ahead by 10 if it's about moving.

Talk to everyone every day except for the one you want to move. That's it.
Skip ahead 10 days when someone who is not your target thinks about moving out and then one day at a time after that until someone else is thinking about moving. Talking to everyone else every day will help a lot. Only talk to the target villager if they have a thought bubble. Soft reset if their bubble is not about moving before you end the conversation. Repeat that until the target villager thinks about moving out.

I had Octavian and I hated him cuz he's grumpy and fought with Apple (my baby), also called me 'sucker'. Went to report to Isabelle 3 times, ignored him for days and he asked to move out a week later 🙂
