I'm trying to find out how to get some "friends" on my list for visiting islands back and forth.

I tried some different things but it doesn't seem to work.

I've been to 2 dream addresses, but you can't talk to other human players over there.

Can anyone help me out how to make this happen?

I think you need to first talk to the dodos and say you want to open your island to friends, then they will install the app for you. after that when your on somones island you can make a friend request through the chat log

When you select the friends only option you have to be friends with the person you are visiting in your nintendo account. Select the other option if you want to be able to visit anyone c:

there are 2 options local and online... the online option will ask for a dodo code which is provided by another person who has their gate open (they don't have to be on your friend list already for this option)
