What is a DLC?
A DLC stands for Downloadable Content. Happy Home Paradise (HHP) is extra content that expands on the existing game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It can be purchased for $24.99USD.

What is Happy Home Paradise?
HHP is an extension of the game Animal Crossing: New Horizons, where the player is able to work along side Lottie:lottienotes:, Niko and Wardell to customize unique and one of a kind Vacation Homes for visiting villagers. You also have a separate currency on this Island, called Poki, where you can purchase rare furniture items in the Paradise Planning Office. Also, techniques learned in HHP can be applied to your normal island.

Do you mean advice about how it's done? 😅 If so - I generally just start with whatever is on the earth/floor (+wallpaper and partitions if it's interior) then I choose all the items I like from the category of "big furniture", choose their color and place them, maybe remove something that doesn't fit in the process, then I do the shrubs

/trees, after that -lamps, then flowers (it's usually good to stick to 1-2 colors of the flowers and put them randomly)... What else... Oh, I usually try to avoid symmetry because symmetrical stuff looks way too artificial :)

Just place all the big furniture you want, try to arrange it a bit to look nice, do the same with the small furniture, place the flowers/shrubs and then the floor patterns. Choose the light well to make it look better. It takes time and correct order, that's all :)

Whats your process with custom designs and HHP? Do you download specific ones for each build, take photos then move on? Or use the same custom designs for each build so older builds dont get messed up? I really wish you could have specific custom designs for each build..

Not sure who you are asking, but I tend to use whichever fit the scheme. All the custom designs I use, are found on my island, so I cant really risk swapping them out, and changing them up for each build, making the last/previous one look wonky just doesn’t sit w me.

But build to your heart’s content and I just recommend what you’re comfortable with !!

The tips I've seen are 1. Color-match 2. No "non-furniture" items on the floor (like diys or lost items) 3. Use rare items (like awards and art/statues) to give a boost! 4. Have all rooms decorated, not just with one chair and one table but fully decorated (without cluttering it)

You can invite the villagers from your island by buying souvenir chocolate and giving it to them. Idk if that's what you meant by this question but I hope I helped
