For the beetles, go to a Nook Miles Tour island at night, chop down all the inland trees, dig up all the stumps, pluck all the flowers, then walk around the entire perimeter of the island

In what way? At Harv's you can place all furniture you have on you catalog including other colors

the customize option didn't show up to change to base color.
I remember for a fact that the laptop use to be white, the lantern was red, the teapot had floral designs, the fax machine was pink, and the writing board was pink too. I'm not sure about the other colors but I knew that they looked different.

The list of furniture available at Harvey's island behave differently that the one of the catalogue: variants of objects that cannot be customized are all listed as separate individual items, while variants of objects that can be customized are all grouped into a single item (and you can change the variant by pressing the customization button).
All these items you listed are not customizable, therefore if you truly have catalogued them, they should be in Harvey's list of furniture available for you to pick from, try using a different sorting preset to find them.

Hello, I’m pretty sure this is a glitch, so I wanted to talk about it here...
I’m decorating to take photos on Harv’s Island, and I noticed that it only shows I have the white mug, when I have three (black, white, and turquoise) cataloged :0

Colors of items I do not have are appearing and colors I do have are disappearing from harv’s island. For example, the red drink machine is the only one in the finder, but I have catalogued every color but the red.

PSA!! The duplication works in local multiplayer. I just spent over an hour testing and tweaking timing and methods and finally got it to work. What worked for me consistantly is using a dodo code and then first finding out how many spins your blue circle does before disappearing. (Mine was 6 Spins) Then follow the same method as doing it online but press power on the last half spin of your amount. (Mine was 5 1/2 spins) I turned power back on straight away so no longer is there a couple seconds of wait.

For me it depends if your online or local play, for online its 3 and 3/4 spins and for local its 5 and a 1/2 spins.

For a three star rating to get terraforming just listen to Isabelle's advice plant flowers, place furniture etc.

To be quite honest i got terraforming by placing a lot of genuine art and planting a lot of flowers and it worked

I've modded those in before, it's one of many items that doesn't know what to do if you give it a texture it isn't supposed to have, such as a Sable pattern (which is only programmed to work for certain items), so other textures in memory pop up on it instead. You either obtained it from a modder or somehow got an invalid texture on it

Correct. However, the timing of how long the save icon spins for is inconsistent now. Sometimes it will spin once, sometimes up to 12 times and you won't really be able to tell. If it spins between 4-6 times and you hit it on the 3rd spin and wait 10 seconds before waking up again then it's usually always successful. If it's not successful then it's more than likely it's spinning inconsistently. I find I'm successful once out of every 3 times.

anyone else got a glitch where in harvs island, you set a reaction for a villager but then when in camera mode, you press a (making all villagers with set reactions play the reaction) and it makes that villager play a different reaction?

for example, i set the smirking reaction for vivian, but it then made vivian play the happiness reaction

Scroll up a couple days someone posted the video. It takes advantage of the auto save feature. Though when I tried it I never got the autosave symbol. They could have easily patched that out with the last update bu simple preventing the autosave symbol from showing, which messes up the timing needed to make the glitch work
