Online play and dodo code or searching for a friend both work. You shouldn't need to close your game but you could try and see if that helps. Are you dropping the items out of your inventory every time? As in you don't pick up and re drop ones on your friends island, you have to have them already in your inventory when you travel there.

i just picked it up once before going to my friends' island and dropped them then did the process, and never dropped the items unless i went to her island again to try the glitch. i feel like autosave onlg showed up the first time, i tried it 6 more times and autosave never showed up, i stared at the sceeen the whole time, idunno why.:')

Hmmm strange. Maybe your friend needs to restart each round then and give you a new dodo code. That might fix the issue.

hey to dupe you have to wait until you see the autosave icon, and once its gone around 3 times, power off once the little bubble reaches 3 o clock on the circle. then power off! you then go back to your friends island and pick up the stuff u dropped :)

I've encountered glitches with K.K. Slider.

If someone sits for K.K. Slider, the game saves, then someone else QLs, the game incorrectly thinks there's a K.K. Slider concert going on.

I am unable to end the session without being told that "I should wait until the performance is over", forcing me to press the power button to end the session.
If I enter another K.K. Slider concert, the game softlocks, forcing me to close the game.

Yes. It was working for me for a while just doing it precisely at the top dot. I have tried every dot from 3 before to 3 after several times now and nothing. The host console still gets the communications error like when it would work, but the visitor upon returning never has the stuff in pocket anymore.

Just reversed consoles and pulled it back to the second spin and it worked again.

Only worked once, though.

1. get someone to go to their island, bring items you want to dupe with you
2. once you get on their island, im pretty sure a 2 min mark is set to autosave, so under that 2 min mark u need to set down the items u wanna dupe
3. watch the top left closely and on the third rotation of the autosave circle, when it is at 1/4 of the full rotation, put your switch into sleep mode
4. turn on ur switch again and reopen ur game, it should say u lost connection
5. go back to ur friend's island and ur items should be there, along with the same items already in ur inventory

I wouldn't really class that as weird because it's a thing which has been known for a long time. If you want to easily replicate it just go to someone else's island and both go through a door at the same time and the person who comes through first can walk/run up/down stairs or whatever and that will happen everytime

It also goes kinda weird if you do it in your house as you can enter invisible loading zones and stuff on the other screen and just disappear

I would like to have these two trees with a flat straight horizontal edge but I cannot get the cliffs to be moved. I think it is because the trees are so close apart. I’ve tried doing this a couple ways. If it’s impossible that’s ok, I’d just like to know if not!

it's not possible, since the tree edge glitch is a 3x3 setup you'll need two spaces between the trees to be able to do it. I'm pretty sure the video in pins has an explanation

each tree needs its own 3x3 space to be able to destroy the cliff directly in front of it

This happened after the person who adopted Tangy left my island. I was in Tangy’s house when they left, and after the screen reloaded, I was just in an empty house. After I left, I obviously couldn’t go back in. Is that normal, or a glitch?

i had the 4th room debt at 500,000 for a while, so that must be what it is, the game might think that I have payed off that debt as ANOTHER debt, and think that I didn't pay off that room debt yet.

Time traveling is definitely still a thing. It's based on the systems internal clock which you can manipulate when needed
