So I did the max bells thing on someone else’s island, which was great because I now have a ton of bells, but by selling the turnips I’ve erased my progress on the nook miles achievement for cornering the stalk market and it’s at negative 64 million bells. anyone remember the dupe glitch with the tables and 2x1 items? since i did it ive had issues with my house like i cant pick up items, which is annoying but tolerable. but the other day i was trying to place a fish in my room and it straight up vanished, and when I checked my inv/storage it was gone. when i opened the room in the quick design mode it had a tv (what i duped) where i had the fish. has anyone else dealt with that?

I tried the new dupe glitch in local multiplayer, and after trying probably over 10 times I did get it to work but only once. The timing was kind of random.

I'm not sure if it's less probable to work in local multiplayer, to me it seems like it's more likely to work online for some reason but is hit or miss either way? I probably wouldn't recommend trying it local if you can go online but if it's your only option and you have hours to spend trying it might work eventually because it did once for me this evening. But it took a while and I haven't done it again.

@cloud hill @analog thorn you're seeing TVs from doing the old TV dupe. What's happening is there are "ghost" TVs floating in those rooms that won't show up until you put tables underneath the TVs and reenter the room. (It's also why you sometimes can't pick up objects, TVs are on top of them. The fish was also probably deleted by the TV.) It's not the dupe happening again unfortunately.

I don’t know if this has to do with something wrong with my controller, but every time I try to run foreword (character facing you) it isn’t as fast and is more like a slow jog? This also affects my walking speed and it’s even slower. I haven’t had any issues with it in any other game, just animal crossing. Every other direction is fine it’s just when I’m facing myself. Anyone else?

I just got a glitch where the animal crossing music doesn’t work. Like when you walk around your island there is no music for me. The regular sound effects are sorta fine, interactions are hard to hear too

This started happening when I put a music player outside. The music doesn’t play, but after my sound got messed up like this. I just messed with it again and now when I get near the music players anywhere on my island there is no music from either the game or the music player

I use a method I found on YouTube: time travel 3 months save and quit then go back to regular time it should work. If it’s the wrong villager then leave before it saves and skip one day, if no villagers ask go back one day until one does.

I know I'm about a day late to answer this but people would hack to get those, I think they hacked to get them on trees - kind of like star fragment trees - and then could get them on the ground by shaking their trees. But I think that after one of the patches people aren't able to hack those in anymore (unless they found another way but afaik they didn't)

No it didn't get patched. You require 1.9.0a to do Bunny Day. Then 1.9.0b later to do the actual event day on the 4th of April.

Most of the time when a person is unable to locate something they thought they put in their inventory, it's either:

• In a part of their inventory they didn't notice
• Somewhere else in their house/on their island and they forgot
• They sold it by mistake and they forgot

Because there isn't a glitch where the inventory eats your items, it's unfortunately just a byproduct of imperfect human memory even if the person swears up and down that they are remembering it correctly.

I think a slightly faster duping method has been found by someone in a server I'm in, it works the exact same with the 3 spins autosave method but the host ends the session when the items have been dropped and the visitor hits the power button on the third spin on that autosave and if it worked the host should get a connection error. They have tried this a few times and it worked everytime so this is more consistent and also faster

I'm gonna test it out later with my other Switch to confirm if it works basically all the time if done right

Sorry for the slow response, but no. You specifically need a 2x1 item. Shark models, chemistry lab, TVs, katanas. If you don't have any of those, the mail dupe doesn't require any fancy setups besides having 3 players on your island.

If you have two switches, you can time travel offline buying radishes low on one and traveling locally to another and selling high

The timing changed and varies for people. You now hit the power button after three rotations of the save icon. For me it works at 3 and 1/4 and some people it's exactly on 3 or some even 3 and 1/2. If the items are only in your inventory then you were too quick and if they are only on the hosts island then too slow. Sometimes the save icon doesn't do three rotations, it might do less or more so that can happen and make it unreliable.
