could possibly ruin your game

(my method i wrote)

1. The host has to to restart their game, meaning that they have to close it and open it
2. After closing, come back and the host will get a Dodo Code
3. The duper (player 2) will arrive with the items they want duped. Right after arriving, start a stopwatch. The host should do nothing and stand still to make this work
4. After dropping the items, the duper will wait until the autosave dots appear. This is the most important part. The dots usually appear after 2:15 minutes on the island. Once it does appear, wait about 1 second, then close your switch by clicking the power button.
5. After closing, open your switch right away and if you have the items in your inventory AND on the host's island, that means the dupe was successful!
   Note: When coming back to the island, the dodo code will stay the same

There's a way to use small items to force your way to the 4th level. It's pretty tough to pull off, though. If you decide to decorate your fourth layer, I recommend you do NOT use flowers, weeds, or dropped items. The reason being that if you ever want to remove these, it is not possible if you can't get back up. Island Clean Up services will not help.

Has anyone encountered an item switch glitch??

I had 2 throwback containers in my inventory. Someone wanted TCs so I said I'll give them mine. I went to storage, went to miscellaneous, grabbed both TCs which were side by side, dropped them off at my airport for the person to come in grab and go. When she got back to her island she sent me a message saying "Hey one of those containers was a fan". I apologize and offer to get her the other container but...both containers are gone from my storage. Also, TCs and fans aren't near each other in storage

"I've moved out." - This glitch was fixed in version 1.2. Having "I've moved out." on villager houses after they've moved out is normal, please do not worry! Their house will be fine tomorrow.

Previously created dupe/bug tables will no longer work.
All glitches relating to bamboo, including drowning mechanics or OOB glitches relating to it

** 1.5.1 Patch Notes:**
All Harv's and plaza items have been removed, the Construction Hat as well - but the Construction Hat will stay on wand outfits as long as the outfit is not changed.
Wrapped critters, bridges, plants and inclines are all now wrapped tree branches.
Other items that retain their Japanese name, like Nookphones, maps, and the hacked KK songs are now also gone.
The only obtainable hacked items left ingame are the unobtainable DIY recipe cards. Bridge and Incline kits can also be picked up, if left unwrapped, but must be used to be removed from inventory. Luna gyroids and mailboxes are left ingame, if owned previously.
Some pre-existing Bamboo Gates and using OOB glitches to get to the ocean from the river have been patched out.
Anything not mentioned is still in game!

Hot Topics:

Please do not complain about how other people choose to play the game.
Trees with items other than fruit/money on (ie star fragment trees) were hacked and stopped being creatable in 1.4.1, with all pre-existing trees being reverted.
Downgrading back to another version is impossible without factory resetting your switch. This will make you reset your save file!
If you're not sure if something is a glitch, you should ask in #game-help-questions❓ first, as it is probably just a normal gameplay mechanic!

I'm also not sure that New Horizons actually has cloud save in the way other games do. Nintendo has made it specifically hard for you to just Have your save data. It's likely that if your new horizons save data became corrupted, it would be completely unrecoverable

Before I start, I know that its "not possible" for this to happen, but it did. I had a full 10 plots, but one day, Beau was gone and Rolf replaced him. There was no transition period and Rolf was acting like he had lived here for WEEKS. I am the only one who lives on my island, as my sister has her own switch. Has anyone else got a glitch where door wreaths aren’t being hung by villagers? I’ve given all my villagers the same seasonal wreath as I always do, I’ve given Judy and Dora one 3 times now and their doors are still without.
I’ve had Judy for 7 months and never had this issue before, Dora is new.

i accidently duped a diy recipie what do i do with it ?

i bought it from someone and when i went to go learn it it says a already know but i know for sure i didn't know the diy before hand
