Well, what I did was dupe a ton of royal crowns for bells and then also duped a bunch of items that are not easy to get lots of, like small fossils, nova lights and the like, for decorating, then I filled the rest of my storage with crowns for good measure.

i think there is a glitch with wreath giving.

i wanted to give five of my villagers new flower wreaths. four of them already had a flower wreath up on their door and one of them had no wreath up.
i gave all five new wreaths and when i opened my game today, only one of them had put up their wreath. strangely, it wasn’t the one with no wreath but one that had a wreath up.

one of my theories is that since the villager who put her wreath up was the first wreath i gave, the game negated all wreaths given thereafter. another is that i had to wait a couple days, so i decided to time travel and see if their doors would update.

i time traveled and nothing changed, so i decided to go back to present day, craft the wreaths again, and give my villagers their corresponding flower wreaths one at a time, one day at a time.

this was working for the first three villagers, but the fourth and fifth one did not update their wreaths.

my theory for this was that since the fourth one would have had to update their wreath on the day scheduled for turkey day and that the fifth one was gifted a wreath on turkey day, the game negated all changes. but this doesn’t seem likely?

anyone have any idea what’s going on?

i just checked this person’s post in game questions and help and one of the villagers wreaths that wasn’t displayed was a cool windflower wreath as well. the other is a fancy rose wreath. but this was from the second round of wreath giving, the first round the wreaths that weren’t displayed were: snazzy pansy wreath, dark lily wreath, and fancy rose wreath.

You go to someone's island and drop what you want to dupe. Then as soon as you see the autosave thing in the corner, you put your switch in sleep mode. Not all the way turned off, just the screen. It'll leave the items in your inventory and at the person's island.
