its kinda cheesy, but i have a sort of story for this part of my island!

a group of construction workers decided to tear down an old, abandoned town, but of course... it wasn't quite as abandoned as they thought it was, and their meddling awoke the slumbering spirits that called the ruins their home. now, after the demolition has been cancelled and the workers have left their post behind, all they can do for the curious passers-by is block off the area and leave a warning about this small town lost to time. even so, the spirits have not returned to their rest... because honestly, they just really want to party. (god, i would KILL for the mannequins from ACNL for this lol)

Ever since I was a kid I’ve been obsessed with Mardi Gras and carnival in Rio. So when I saw they had Festivale items I quickly flattened my island to make a festivale, tropical, theme park, etc theme. It’s not the best but here’s my island entrance it makes me so happy. Okay, I would reccomend you start by just adding some little pieces to the shop, like a trash bin, trash bags, a crafting bench near the front.
Then, continue with some trees, and finally, add stuff that works with your theme!

For the most part it's accurate, just be warned it can make your island bigger than it actually is. Just an example, I did the screenshot overlay and where a sliver of my beach is one unit wide, the map made it appear 3 wide
