You could try using a railway path to with different stations at the entrances to each region and in the areas with the stations you could make them naturey with slight element of whatever area they’re next to 🙂

So this is my castle and I’ve honestly never loved the white siding since it doesn’t feel dark and creepy enough for my magic cult island. But the grey silos have a blue roof which is why I haven’t used those

Most maps have 1-2 parts of the beach that are big and have a lot of room for the house and a nice yard

I have a little inaccessible spot on a cliff behind my villager's house. It's kinda like a memorial spot. There's a tree with a picnic area. Couple nova lights and telescopes.

If you can't fit enough trees on top of those cliffs for a dense forest look, then I also suggest just breaking down those cliffs and making a wall of trees instead. If you really want the cliffs tho, then I'd make them bigger to accommodate more trees. Since you say you're going for a dense forest look.

I'm redesigning my island. I am giving each visitor there own little area / theme. For example Sherb is in charge of running the ice-cream stand and Dizzy is going to live by the playground.

Gotcha. If you like that look, you can always search acnh natural and it should give you some inspo. I typically do that then start small. I like to start with the entrance since that can help determine how I want to handle the rest of my island. Don't be afraid to work a little at a time in small areas. 🙂

I was hoping to get some advice. I am planning to make a big lake with a lake view of forrest and cliffs in the far distance (think you have seen it somewhere it’s been done couple of times by others). I am not sure about the location tho. On my map I have marked 2 possible spots. It’s a new island so all buildings like homes, the museum and campsite will definitely change location. I will also totally change the rivers. So please imagine there are no buildings and river on the entire island. What would be the best location and please tell me why I should pick that location ☺️

I personally like the idea of it behind the RS since it would give you a good place to build up the background of the lake. If you want to walk by it more next to RS might be better
